EducationRe: Cultists Are Threatening Me In My School by goodbobo: 2:02pm On Feb 22, 2008
Only fools join cult . U can quote me any where .   Can any cult member give me just one reason for being a cultist .  Most of them, after leaving the university setting have so much regret being one while in school .

Its is only those that are not sure of themselves and needs to belong to a group the joins such group .

Do u know if u ever kill any human being in ur life . U will for ever be haunted and u will never have piece of mind till u die .

and remember university days are only for a while (  max 7 years ) and have like 60 to 80 years to spend on the sufface of the earth . so why would u distroy ur entire life cos of a shot time in the higher institution .

U might feel cult groups help out may be after university . i tell u , its a big lie . after school , its just u and ur big head . u got u life to face all by urself .

i know of a don in how university those days . after school , the guys life had been so miserable till now that is like 8 years after school .

If u want to confirm all these just ask any body that has finished higher institution like some 5 years or more ago and was a cultist . ask if he regreted being a cultist . i tell u 99% of them will say yes .

If the reason for being a cultist is because u want to earn respect for urself , then I say u must be a great fool . Guys a earning respect for being in first class grade and two one , guys are earning respect for being great orators , guys are earning respect for being good dresser , guys are earning respect for thier contribution to the development of the immidiate community and the larger society ,  guys are earning respect for their God given talents and u are there trying to be respected for belonging to a particular group . or because u are the one that has one of the most beautiful girl on campus . what a fool .

I also noticed that, after leaving university , the guys that eventual got the best jobs were guys that were unknown in the university days . guys that u wont even look at twice in terms of the social disposition then . But today , some are in Uk , US in very big companies , some in MTN , GLO . central bank, banks , shell , chevron ,and some own their own very big business now . and i check out how the once that were in cult then doing . men , most are lacking being . I dont know may be its is curse of something . most are not doing well at all . they were the big boys then , very big boyz , that some people envied then , but now the story is so different .

So be wise . and be very wise . remember , if u kill a man , it is for ever . the blood never stops crying . ,

and those things u take during initiation , my guys , it is not for joke , it is blood convenant , to break such no be joke o ,

be wise . i say be wise ,
TV/MoviesRe: Voltron Defender Of The Universe by goodbobo: 2:17pm On Jan 17, 2008
U guys will make someone cry on nairaland . U brought back good old memories . i was in primary Six in lagos (surulere) when voltron was shown on nigerian tv that was around 1987 . I am sure all the  people responding to the tread are my age mates (32) . Even my younger brother that was in primary one then (now 27) never really flow cos he was way too young to understand it then . I dont thing any one bellow or above that age would really know much of voltron .

For me i dont thing there was any episude that i missed .

EducationRe: Which Nigerian University Produces The Best Wife Materials? by goodbobo: 4:10pm On Dec 06, 2007
lol, my sistaaaaaaaaaa , reloaded . i am sure u are an expert on this subject matter . , very interesting . sorry i was not thought all that in my biology class .

Thank God for your life . But my sis ,many brothers will not like to know that their girl friend or fiancee was living in the same room with another guy for like 4 years .

If u doubt me , ask brothers in the house .

And the big question u ask yourself is how many of these couples end up marrying ?
EducationRe: Which Nigerian University Produces The Best Wife Materials? by goodbobo: 8:29am On Dec 06, 2007
lol. lol, Re-loaded , i guess i keep getting reloaded with each posting . Love ur attitude . And from what u said , u would have schooled in IFe if u were to school in nigeria which means there is something special u noticed in those that graduated from Ife .

And mind u my sis , contraceptives have side effect . Image taking contraceptives constantly for like 4 years all in the name of preventing pregnancy .

What happens when u wanna get pregnant in marriage , ( be careful ) , sometimes thats one of the reason for infatility .

Peace
EducationRe: Which Nigerian University Produces The Best Wife Materials? by goodbobo: 6:48pm On Dec 05, 2007
Lol. i cant stop laughing at what D_ reloaded wrote . come on madam . i am sure u finished from OSU . sorry no harm meant . well one thing that i omitted was that even in OSU's case there will be exceptions and i am sure u are one of the exceptions (u are a clean and unused babe) .

but madam , how many of these couples end up getting married . Do u know how many times the babes will be getting pregnant living for like say 2 years in same room with a guy ? come on , E no easy . Enough abortions .

No harms meant my dear and if u are a guy reading this and ur girl friend na OSU babe , just assume she is one of the exceptional case o .

No harms meant o

I agree so much with the poster . Ur evironment forms a very big part of ur character expecially when growing up . for those that went through univervisty from ager say like 17 to like 25 , there is a very great influence on the character .

like the uni i finished from some 7 years ago ( O.A.U ) Ife , there were up to 50 different christian fellowships then and reading was the other of the day .

People read round the clock . I bet u there is no univerisity in nigeria that reads like that . U can wake up as late as 1 am midnight in ur hostel and walk down to class to read and u will see lots of people on the campus that late in the night going to class to read . there was actually no day or night on campus as everyone is always busy .

People entering the university embibes hardwork and lots of descipline . when i was in 500 level the that was the year jamb expo came out alot in the federation and lot of imcompetent student got admission into the university . do u know that that year only like 20 person on the year one student in TECH ( engineering faculty) got into year two . the rest were flushed out .

If u see any Ife graduate u will see what i mean . they are very shart , determined , hardworking and brilliant .

If u are looking for wifey . Go for Ife graduate ( though there will always be exceptions )

My male friends that finished from OSU told me that if u marry an OSU graduate , u are marrying a used babe cos over there they lived outside campus and couples living is so common where boy and a girl live together as boyfriend and girlfriend in the same room and the lecturers too are not left behind in the game of piecesing this babes .

ALL the IFE GRADUATE , GREATEST GBOSA, PAWON . GBOSA , and all those that were in school during Anthony fashayo , A U cal , Ropo Awenla , Lanre legecy . Faro Idris , I salute o , And i love u all . mellovipc@yahoo.com

FamilyRe: How To Spice Up Your Marriage by goodbobo: 3:43pm On Nov 24, 2007
Wifes should always keep certain day within a month for special rounds of sex with the husband . it is discovered that the normal daily sex takes place at night when u both are retiring to bed to sleep and such sex only last one round and u guys go to bed straight .

To spice up ur marriage , u should conciously keep a certain day at least within month for real sex that last more than one round . it takes a lot of effort cos u will have to keep the kids away , ur friends and family . that day , no going out , no parties , just the two of u .

and on such days u will have time to discuss with each other more .
FamilyRe: How To Spice Up Your Marriage by goodbobo: 9:51pm On Nov 16, 2007

CultureRe: Ramses, Cleopatra, Nefertiti: Original Egyptians Were Black? by goodbobo: 12:08pm On Nov 01, 2007
The white world have succedded in making we blacks feel that we are not any force to recorn with when it comes to intelligence and creativity and the honest but painful truth is that so many of us believe that . I have a black american friend who just came to Nigeria to spend 3 weeks . she was so suprised at what she saw . she said over there in the US they were told all sorts of unbelievable things about africa . she said they were told that on the street of lagos , people go about begging on the street , lots of starvation and acute poverty . That lagos is very very unsafe that u can hardly go out . But to her greatest amazement , she enjoyed every bit of her stay in Lagos .
All the great brains that are black are never reported nor celebrated . Do u know that our own computer genius Philip Emagweile is one of the greatest brains that worked the surface of the earth but we only know his cos he is nigerian but who many people worldwide know him they way other great brains are all known . The truth is , not even the asains can stand the kind of brains we have . The asians have only been so successful today cos they were able to build on existing technology . How many discoveries or creations have they been able to make themselves .There is even another very very great brain i just found out . His name is Dr. Mark Dean , a black man

u can read more about him here :

"America's High Tech "Invisible Man"
By Tyrone D. Taborn

You may not have heard of Dr. Mark Dean. And you aren't alone. But almost everything in your life has been affected by his work.

See, Dr. Mark Dean is a Ph.D. from Stanford University. He is in theNational Hall of Inventors. He has more than 30 patents pending. He is a vice president with IBM. Oh, yeah. And he is also the architect of the modern-day personal computer. Dr. Dean holds three of the original nine patents on the computer that all PCs are based upon. And, Dr. Mark Dean is an African American.

So how is! it that we can celebrate the 20th anniversary of the IBM personal computer without reading or hearing a single word about him? Given all of the pressure mass media are under about negative portrayals of African Americans on television and in print, you would think it
would be a slam dunk to highlight someone like Dr. Dean.

Somehow, though, we have managed to miss the shot. History is cruel when it comes to telling the stories of African Americans. Dr. Dean isn't the first Black inventor to be overlooked Consider John Stanard, inventor of the refrigerator, George Sampson, creator of the clothes dryer,
Alexander Miles and his elevator, Lewis Latimer and the electric lamp.
All of these inventors share two things:

One, they changed the landscape of our society; and, two, society relegated them to the footnotes of history. Hopefully, Dr. Mark Dean won't go away as quietly as they did. He certainly shouldn't. Dr. Dean helped start a Digital Revolution that created people like Microsoft's Bill Gates and Dell Computer's Michael Dell. Millions of jobs in information technology can be traced back directly to ! Dr. Dean.

More important, stories like Dr. Mark Dean's should serve as inspiration for African-American children. Already victims of the "Digital Divide" and failing school systems, young, Black kids might embrace technology with more enthusiasm! if they knew someone like Dr. Dean already was leading the way.

Although technically Dr. Dean can't be credited with creating thecomputer -- that is left to Alan Turing, a pioneering 20th-century English mathematician, widely considered to be the father of modern computer science -- Dr. Dean rightly deserves to take a bow for the machine we use today. The computer really wasn't practical for home or small business use until he came along, leading a team that developed the interior architecture (ISA systems! bus) that enables multiple devices, such as modems and printers, to be connected to personal computers.

In other words, because of Dr. Dean, the PC became a part of our daily lives. For most of us, changing the face of society would have been enough. But not for Dr. Dean, Still in his early forties, he has! a lot of inventing left in him.

He recently made history again by leading the design team responsible for creating the first 1-gigahertz processor chip, It's just another huge step in making computers faster and smaller. As the world congratulates itself for the new Digital Age brought on by the personal computer, we need to guarantee that the African-American story is part of the hoopla surrounding the most stunning technological advance the world has ever seen, We cannot afford to let Dr. Mark Dean become a footnote in history. He is well worth his own history book.

I am a living witness to the fact that Nigerian visa might not be as easy as I thought . I sent an invitation to a black American and was denied visa twice . Same thing happened to my cousin who invited white American , he was denied but because my cousin had to see him , the guy had to apply for Ghanian visa which was granted and they both met in Accra , Ghana .

InvestmentRe: Effect Of Naira Redomination On Stock Market Investments? by goodbobo: 2:05pm On Aug 17, 2007
My major fear is that of inflation . A 5N busicuit that some of us are used to will now be 5 kobo . Dont u see a scenerio where such sellers of such commodities would want to make it like 10 kobo instead of the 5 kobo redenomination equivalent , that is inflations coming to play very fast .

Please let us be very very honest with ourself. Majority ( at least 80%) of this 419 guys are Ibo . We all know these why decieve ourselves. Some 6 ago i worked in a cyber cafe . I dicoved that all the scammer that come to the cafe then at Ilupeju( in Lagos State) then are mostly Ibos . This is not "them tell me or something" . it was some thing I saw with my eyes . Early this year i was in Johannesburg , south africa . There was a street there i passed through and i saw Lots of Ibo boys selling drugs .

If u be Ibo by tribe that does not mean u should frown at the known fact . However we also know the Ibos are very intelligent , hardworking and industrious people . No be Ibo be Phillip Emaguali , Dora Akunyilli , Charles Soludo and Chinua Achebe ?

We know .

@obanikoro . U have spoken well . But if we want to go by your words then we should condemn all forms of furnications and adultry . Not saying sleeping with a married man is the only thing that is wrong .

So all the nairaland babes , Do not "SLEEP" until u are married OO .

So we should not just condemn sleeping with married men alone , we should say in general , NO SLEEPING outside marriage .

So if u are sleeping and u are not married , repent and stop it immediately ,

All those babes wey don condemn my friend if u catch u SLEEPING cos i know u are not married yet , i will report u to GOD and Mr Obanikoro .

I rest my case
