@ daprof2, how u doing bro, your question is not a problem at all, your GT Bank card is already a master card -card, it means you can use it anywhere in t'he world to make withdrawals, all you need to do is to look at t'he ATM machine in dubia and make sure t'he master card logo is on it thats all, e.g if u have naira in your account in nigeria, just put your card into t'he machine in dubai and e go cough out dinar for u! Pls note dont take your money in pieces, when u need cash just go ahead and withdraw in bulk, commission is charged each time cash comes out of t'he machine whether na 5000 come out o! Or na 50,000 charges are made per withdrwal. For example each time u withdraw, 1000 naira is deducted from your account so just collectyour cash in bulk at once instead of collecting small small and paying plenty commission. We had a friend that travlled to dubai a few weeks back, on arrival he had just 600 dollars on him, he would have to pay for accomodation of 200 dollar per month, if he pays for two months accomodation t'he balance cash on him will just be 200 dollars out of which he will eat fooooooooooood and pay transport, just imagine that kind of situation, if he didnt travel with good quantitty of food stuff, i tell u t'he guy would almost starve. My too cent, to make issues easy with nigerian officials at lagos airport be friendly not naieve and not afraid, dont tell them u are going for biz when u are just 22 yrs old they will not belive u, if u say u going for tourism they might want to see your pta or bta, so the best bet for young looking guys that are first time travllers just tell them you are going to see your seniour brother that works in dubai, he will pick u at t'he airport and u will stay all through with him for two weeks before u return home and try to look into their face while speacking without fear, that shud do it and pls always try to arrive very early for check in, its an important strategy cos if u come late when check in is closing in 30 minutes time it will increase t'he pressure and they may try to threaten u to part with bribe or u miss ur flight.dubai immigrations dont have much problems because u are already holding a valid visa, so all they might ask is t'he hotel u might be staying while u are in dubai, abeg scroll back on t'he thread u go see plenty names choose one wey u go tell them. Dats basically all.
