The easiest thing to do each time u want to know the price of ticket to qatar or any destination in t'he world is to visit t'he website of t'he airline with which u like to travel, input your depature airport, date of travel etc and it will give u t'he flights available and t'he costs of t'he tickets. As we speak, the function of the Rivers State House of Assembly has been taken over by the NASS. There are 36 state governors- 23 PDP governors and 13 of opposition parties. Why is Amaechi's state burning? I dont want a president that will set Nigeria on fire.

We'r talking of a state governor who embarked on a very important and EXPENSIVE project ( mono-rail) without properly thinking it through. For me, that is FOOLISHNESS. And other instances of such white elephant or thoughtless projects abound in the state.

justi4jesu: Well people buy other people's passport here in the UAE and travel back with it, so if you travel down here and keep your passport carelessly thinking they can use it through immigration then you must be joking because most of the cargo boys over here have sold out their passport for the sum of 400dollars and so on, then when they ready to travel back they will just buy someone else passport and travel back....its as simple as ABC if you dont know. So be alert and never give anyone your passport even to hold.

. You are missing t'he point! There is a diffrence in using another persons passport to travel and using t'he passport number on any exisiting passport to clone and make a new passport. Kalifats friend lost t'he printout copy of his qatar visa and he is afraid that someone might use t'he passport number on t'he visa to make a new passport so as to make use of t'he qatar visa, its almost impossible for t'he guy that stole t'he visa to do that successfuly, infact it will be easier and cheaper for t'he visa thief to spend money and get his own qatar visa than stressing himself to clown an existing passport that cannot pass through immigration check. Using someones passport to travel is not new, but cloninig someones passport number to make a new passport just because of a cable visa like qatar is unheard of and definately not worth it. g

Some indications that 19 governors voted for Amaechi against Jang who is t'he Aso rock stooge is a strong indication that Jonathan is loosing grip, his rough fight cumulated in an open show of shame in rivers state while 27 members of rivers state house of assembly were willing to side with the governor against t'he president, And the lingering PDP crises is unabaiting,stopping of t'he PDP convention by t'he courts, t'he dissolution of t'he Turkur led Exco of PDP, t'he suspention of Aliu Wamako t'he governor of sokoto and his quick recall! T'he PDP mess is endless, t'he Arewa consultative forum and nothern leaders speacking clearly that power must return back to t'he north by 2015, t'he campaign of violence by t'he boko haram up north and the umbashe clan wahala that led to t'he death of police and SS operatives etc etc! @kaliphat! I have being reading your post and am quite amused at your questions and passived alarm, but permit me to rest your anxieties. If i may ask, who will forge the New Eelectronic passport? Nobody can forge it successfuly and it will pass through the immigration at t'he airport successfully, it has a lot of security features that cannot be easily forged. Secondly can they use t'he passport number on the stolen visa to approch the immigration office {passport office} to make a fresh passport? Its impossible as the old passport in t'he system has a diffrent photograph and signature, no group of immigration officers sardled with t'he responsibility of reissuing a new passport will put there jobs on t'he line for that kind of thing,for new reissuance of passport the application will pass through more than 8 diffrent tables of very very senior officers, infact how much can u pay them self? Exceptting d' criminal can pay 10 million and above before they might be tempted to take t'he risk! Your fear and that of your friend is over hightend nobody can successful make a passport with the passport number on that visa and travel in a months time, its practically impossible.D cost t'he thief will incure makes his plans very very expensive, dangerous and unviable! i assume its only at the Russian Embassy u can do it, the alternative would have being to use the services of a notary public lawyer, but they dont understand Russian Language and they cannot translate. another alternative is to send it to sombody in russia to help u do it but its not too cheap also it might cost u between 700 Rouble to 1000Rouble that is about N5000, so your best bet is to use the services of the Russian Embassy. submit it at the embassy and they will give u a receipt for your payment i assume it would cost u about N6,500 or so then u can scan the receipt to the school and inform them that it might take 7 days for the embassy to translate it, they would understand.

These kind of men tempt me to label mankind as a brand of hypocrisy.

I am really appalled by our intractable first lady's machinations, however, in response to Joe Igbokwe, I must state that PEJ has introduced nothing new in this continuum of abuse of power by incumbent Presidents, Governors and their wives.

I have always pointed out that in the times we live, situations seem more dire, actions appear to be more widespread, effects seem more impactful on our psyche all because of the internet and information super highway.

Have we forgotten all those sudden removal of military sole administrators without explanation or reason? Can we ever know the source of the intrigues that characterized so many regime changes and power play right from the IBB regime (he started this subtle inclusion of office of first lady into our national consciousness).
We become aware of situations today almost at the speed of light. If this Rivers saga had happened under IBB, assuming it was a democracy, only a handful of Nigerians would have heard about it one month later.

My point is, let us drop this hyper hypocrisy. Everyone we have ever elected since IBB's transition program has indulged his wife in one scheme of abuse of power or the other at all levels of the executive. What we ought to do as citizens of Nigeria is to this modern tool of information (internet and social media) to build our electoral character, take hold of our full powers to recall elected individuals or reject them in subsequent rounds of elections...not to spread hypocrisy.
