Good work! Keep it up!! I have long said t'he way out of t'he nothern security quagmire is for t'he youth to get angry and say enough is enoguh!and thats what we are seeing. Kudos Aminho!! |
How dem wan arrest cydo name masqurades way full nairaland! Abi una fill una address! thats t'he power of t'he social media it makes most people faceless with my glasses abi u dey see my eyes? |

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Henrymoto u are blessed! Euromoney i greet u!! Igwe live forever!! It is well. |
justwise: goodtalk you can preach and spin this until chicken grow teeth, this is all about how you will make money from Nigerians traveling to Dubai and you can't use this thread to promote that.witchcraft moderation! |
justwise: He doesn't need to live in Dubai to make money out of this, this whole idea is not for free, money will exchange hand.pls each time sombody cries out that he is stranded abeg try and speack out, in such cases i dont see you! U are always in the shadows, jeremmyng said he is in a tight corner and he was now willing to pay money for job kindly advise him! Pls be active as a moderator to bring solutions to peoples distress, all people need is solution, people think they are smart you would have said ogakpatakpata wanted to benefit from peoples money afterall t'he suggestion was for him to organise it, he was to personally oversee t'he arrangment because he is in dubai, t'he job of a moderator is not to throw mud cleverly, u escuse t'he people that will arrange to recieve people and help them and you blaiming me in nigeria? In your eairlier post you castegated kaffi4tope who happens to be t'he most helpful job placement officer or informer on t'he thread all for what? Because he agreed to take a taxi to pick JJC from t'he airport and at whose cost? Oga abeg wake up! I have read a lot of your old posts long ago before you became a moderator so my guy small small.i dont care about t'he issue again but you cannot stop people from doing as they please. i |
@ justwise and at @leboss6 having read backwards t'he past posts i discoverd it only t'he two of you that are against this idea and i dont feel just t'he two of you make t'he majority! This thread is alive and well because people with integrity such as ogakpatakpata, euromoney, kaffi4tope,justi4jesu,henrimoto,FBI/CIA,etc have doggedly contributed their quota of time, advise and money after all they pay for t'he internet, and they enlighten people free of charge, if this great forum members where to withdraw there contibutions i bet u this thread will close up! Thats why from time to time we need to continually feel t'he puss of t'he people before we throw out advises, just wise said to optimistgondy if we where to subject this matter to a vote some people will generate new IDs and t'he vote will not reflect t'he correct views, but t'he best approch will be to ask t'he views of 15 of our most credible contibutors and find out what they feel about t'he matter on t'he table, you like it or not this issue cannot be wished away, each time i read jeremmyngs post am always moved cos nobody is on ground in dubai that is commited to his course! All over t'he world airport pickup is normal, a new student arriving in russia today will be picked up from t'he airport to t'he school and he will pay 100$ fee for this servise infact if you check most schools website you will find this requirement, i simply wonder why nigeria people see fraud in every suggestion. When i arrived moscow i missed t'he fellow t'he school sent to pick me up, and this was my first time in moscow i suffered greatly cos i coudent express my self in russian language and nobody understood english, boy i sufferd, i was ready to aboundon my 3 pieces of luggage because i couldent move easily because of my bags, t'he only thing that was important to me was my laptop bag containing my credentials i hugged dat bag and was ready to aboundon others, when i came out of t'he airport i ran back inside because i had suddenly come into a minus -10 degrees cold and i had to unpack my bag and wear a very tick jackets, i had issues with russian imigration because they said my bag contained upto ten or more pair of jeans, i expalined i bougt them because of t'he cold, them no hear english i no hear russian if only i had sombody on ground to relate with t'he immigration in russian language my life would have been easier infact the story too long, eventually i took a taxi to t'he closest metro line, guess how much 50$ dollars for a taxi dro, when i finally got to school they still collected t'he 100$ for t'he pickup service though i missed my pickup guy! Missed me , so when i make suggestions like this i speack with experience, wherever we travel to in t'he world you will always need help from people, but our prayer is to get t'he right help even if we must pay for it. I don taya to type cose am using a fone |
@ igwe! Pls note we elected you to be t'he igwe and we have been supporting you to excel on this thread, t'he only thing you could have done was to put your foot down and balance all auguments other than your submission and throwing in the towel, when i mutted t'he suggestion i said it was not by false and that you should cordinate it, even before i came out with t'he blue print you had already come out with a well laid out plan, on how to help our brothers and sisters over there in dubai, we are tired of stories of people crying of being stranded, now jeremyng is now saying his willing to pay money to get a job, when d' igwe has said that t'he mattrass advertisement is over, pls lets be frank i hate deception, we should state what we belive in without fear or favour, igwe if you know your blue print will be t'he best to solve t'he issue of our people being stranded pls say so, if u stand on it and it was later over ruled by t'he majority of t'he house and t'he moderator at least we will all know your view or stand pls dont oscillate be firm and let us keep respecting you for your views and your candidness!! |
justwise: ogakpatakpata i have enjoyed your contributions from page one of this thread as well as few others who come in here to write pages just to help other members selflessly and i never had any reason to question your intention but this idea brought by a ' travel/visa agent' and supported by another 'travel/visa agent' is about to dent your image here.. @ justwise Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha i have learnt from experience reading past posts that nobody really wins t'he moderator in an agument so i dont intend to ague with you, but let me set some issues straight i am not a visa agent am just a man that has travlled to a few places in t'he world and i actually schooled in russia and currently preapering for my PHD in russia or any other place in Europe, but am currently in nigeria, in all my posting on t'he qatar/dubai thread i have always tried to be objective and at no time has my post been hidden on this particular thread, for advertising any service. On russian matters where i lived for some years i could claim to be an expert in such matters but for quite a long time i hardly visit t'he russian thread cos i feel t'he thread is not been organised well, if u check my past posts i was t'he one that suggested ogakapatakpata be crowned as king so as to have orderliness on t'he thread to guide it from degenerating into abuse garlor forum like t'he russian and other threads. Many months back i might have wanted to help people on t'he russian tread for a fee but i lost intreast, as it was not encouraged and secondly t'he stress was too much, if you noticed some people kept asking me to reply to there PM's even on this thread most of them are still russian enthusiast that traced me here, so am not an agent. Well as per t'he $100 dollars issue i believe its optional and its not by force, its better to thrash t'he issue in t'he public dormaian than having people doing t'he same thing behind through there PMs. I recommended using t'he igwe to arrange this cos i believe he would be unwilling to mess up t'he good name he has been building for a long while just because of $100 dollars, and i want to add in as much you are t'he moderator of t'he thread u still need to feel t'he puss of t'he people and let them vote on issues that concern them directly, if you feel t'he igwe will collect peoples 100 dollars and not do what he said he will do pls say so straight lets know your view! U dont seem to understand if a forum member says he gave t'he igwe 100 dollars and he didnt do anything but eat his money his reputation he has built is destroyed. procuring the dubai visa is easy and free, just simply go to etihad or emirate airlines and pronto your visa and ticket will be ready. But how you will fair on your arrival in dubai is another matter, i believe our people over there need help, well t'he experiences of valentoney, jeremyng and GemB are eye openers to challenges that one can face if u dont have people that can help u. I have being preaching that nobody shud give money to nigerian immigration but some of our members gave as much as $200 and now they are finding it difficult to get jobs in dubai would it not have been better to give that money to job placement expert under t'he supervision of t'he igwe to help help them secure a job? Lets face facts and call a spade a spade!! l |
ASPchris: my guy, is like u dont understand what the guy is saying, that he collected 1month absent or something like that, from his work in Nigeria and it is almost completed. So u still suggest for him to stay and loose his job, (haba). This really wrong suggestion. Pls try and come back to Nigeria my brother as soon as possible so u dont loose ur job.(he who fights to run, live to fight another day ) be wise!!!oga olopa chris! Are u sure you read my first post to jeremyng? He said his abuja job pays him 30 thousand naira and t'he kaffi4topes job offer will pay him 60,000 naira! So which does he go for? You tell me! Easy mathematics, before you thorw in t'he towel and return back home atleast you will try all ends, i told him to discuss with kaffi4tope find out how to get that job if possible use his balance cash to pay t'he HR to get t'he job, i believe if he gets t'he job they will help him get his work visa and accomodation and he can move on from there, my brother pity thus not solve problems its easy for me to say pele o jeremmyng t'he lord is your strenth pls return to your 30,000 job in abuja but my spirit thus not agree with that and if am t'he one i will not do that. Pls jeremyng give us t'he true position so we can better advise you, if you feel t'he kaffi job will not be okay let us know, if you feel t'he money they are asking to get t'he job is more than you can afford let us no t'he amount, pls stop telling us you have friends in dubai that have not been able to get jobs, so u must use you balance cash to buy tins to bring home to sell. T'he altmost choice lies with u! Stay blessed! If i may ask how many days are left on your visa? |
jammyng: Ur advises are welcome. I have to say it's not easy feeding here, so that shouldn't be taken lightly. Nobody really help anyone with food or money here.ok i hear you! |
jammyng: The palace shouldn't misunderstand my going back to Nigeria. I've tried as much to get a job but I haven't and the only nairalanders who have tried to help me are justi4jesu and valentony. I PMed the igwe and some chiefs and they didn't reply me. I have 1450aed left with me and with my family situation in Nigeria, they can't afford to send me money again. My mum even took a loan for me. If I renew my visa for 900aed and pay rent, I won't have money left for feeding. I know the situation back home, I can't get money from there, so it shouldn't be suggested. I have a job of 30k in Nigeria which takes care of things though no savings. I can't afford to stay in Dubai for the second month without a job.@jemmyng! Hmmmmmm my brother how you dey? Let me tell you what i do when i have serious challenges i open the window, throw out emotion, close the window, sitdown and look at the FACTs, i never allow emotion to becloud my reasoning. Lets look at t'he facts for a minute, your job in abuja pays you 30,000 thousand naira, t'he job kaffy4tope spoke about will pay about 60,000 naira or so coupled with accommodation and feeding i presume? In my ealier post i asked you how much was your salary in abuja and am glad you have told me, now tell me is it worth going back to? Are there bright prospect for promotion and increase in salary? I dont know the answers to the questions they are left for you to answer! U mean your mum had to even borrow some money for you to travel! And u want to go back home with your heads down in regret? My friend slap yourself and wake up from your sleep you are sleeping. Pm kaffi4tope strait aways and find out how to get that job infact u can use your balance money to settle t'he HR manager to get that job, travlling to hussle for job is for men and not boys, my approch is always straight forward and practical, never give nigerian immigration money, save it cos you will need it later! Always carry foodstuff cos belly must chop e no send you! And i hope you did not send me any PM? I have said it on this thread times without number that t'he email attached to my nairaland account is no longer active and am finding it difficult to even replace it, i reported it to d' moderator sometimes back but am yet to get solution, i hope i was not one of t'he chiefs u PM'd' cos i no see am! Seriously wake up and take that risk! Imagin u telling us if i reneue my visa i will not have money to eat hisssssssssssssss infact declare fast and go sort yourself out with justi4tope |
So what will Be the cost implication for these new arrivee so that they will Be preparing towards it
over to you igwe! Kindly liase with justi4tope and your other subjects in dubai to come up with a round figure, i suggested about 100$ maximally in my last post but am not in dubai currently so my calculation may not paint t'he real picture on ground.but pls lets not forget we are coming together to help our brothers as we are not doing this to make money.we awiat direction from t'he palace. Oba are tor pe e ise! |
jammyng: no money to extend my visa. besides, i was given 1month off from work in naija, dont wanna lose in both places. if i dont get one before thursday, i really hav to go back and start work in nigeria.weigh your chances well before you take that decison, if i may ask how much do they pay you in your abuja job? If t'he amount does not take you home properly, i will advice you pick up dis mattrass job from kaffi4tope on t'he interem before other oppourtunity arrises. |
ogakpatakpata: @optimisticgondy..............l will also suggest that before we receive a new arrivee, l should be pre-informed like 3days before arrival.............so that l can also prepare myself to co-ordinate things from my end.......but is my suggestions regarding payment of taxi fares by the new arrivee accepted by the house?..please l want guys to start either agreeing with my proposals or disagree, l want meaningful and wise contributions....henceforth, nobody arriving from this house will be a victim to con men in Dubai........... Igweeeeee! God bless your entusiasim and may he bless all your endevours! My fellow chiefs i greet una! I had being thinking hard on t'he best approch to this new blue print but t'he igwe in his best wisdom has gone ahead with far reaching imputs, what more can i say? Other than to agree with his excellency!! But i will like to add a few inputs, all our members that have travelled to dubai always had issues with accomodation from valentony,GemB, jemmyNg and a host of others, it can be fustrating for a first time travller arriving at t'he airport without a help from anybody, he would take a taxi and most likely be cheated becos even t'he taxi driver knows he is new in town, and when he gets a hotel it might not be t'he cheapest and most convinient around cos his information is limited, and when seaching for shared accomodation he has to be extreamly careful not to be swindled and sandwished into 12 people in a room arrangment, and as per job level t'he man is vertually lost as he dosent know how to commence a proper job search, t'he odd is really stacked against a JJC in town, and like t'he case of jeremyNG, if your visa is about to expire and no job in sight it can really be distressing, and also t'he cost of visa renewal is about 1000 dihram {about 45,000 naira} and t'he cost of another months rent 200 dollars { about 32,000 naira} and also t'he cost of feeding and transport for another month, if u do t'he maths u will discover you will spend about another 100 thousand naira or more for a 2nd month in dubai without job, so it has become imperative to cut all cost if we can help it, i propose this new endevour be called PALACE SERVICES, using the Palacial services on arrival in dubai is strictly optional no be by force.as t'he igwe suggested before a palace subject wants to travel he must notify t'he igwe and t'he whole palace three days before t'he flight so adequate arrangments can be made at t'he dubai palace end to recieve him or her. Pls note as soon as you give t'he igwe a 3days notice they should make enquiry about t'he most confortable and cheap hotel around and also begin to check out affordable and cheap shared accomodation around. And also they would investigate available jobs and make recommendations, new arrivals in dubai are free to seach for jobs themselves after settling in their shared accommmodation,if getting a job becomes difficult he can ask for t'he servise of job placement experts to assist him get a job for a fee, i state again this service is not by force, you must be convienced that you want to do it and such request must be passed to t'he igwe for recommendation and follow up, pls you will also carry t'he whole kingdom along for check and balances and for quick whistle blowing if we think somthing is not adding up well.i feek t'he integrity of t'he igwe is strong enogh to oversee this project. Igwe pls lets put an amount for t'he airport pickup, hotel serching service, shared accomodation seach and other assistance in dubai for new arrivals to 50 to 100 dollars. This is open to discussion! Whatever t'he job placement expert may ask for is out of this amount. Pls lets start to react! If its okay pls say so and like t'he Post |
Igweeeeeeeee may you live forever!! May your reign be controversy free!! @emamos, @chief henrimoto d' omo nor oba 1 on dubai matters i greet you! @victorg8t, @optimisticgondy, greetings to all our esteemed contributors and viewers/visitors may God bless you all. I thank you all for your kind comments and this under scores t'he need for us to take our beloved thread to t'he next level, i often visit other threads but its very difficult to get a group of people commited to helping each other seriously like we do here, am working out a formular and if adopted by t'he igwe, kaffi4tope,justwise and t'he general house we will begin to implement it. I will talk more on it tomorow cos my BB fone is low on battery |
@goodtalk wow! Nice 1 Am sure these ppl are trying in their own little way but maybe its not enough we should be more of our brothers keeper though its difficult and we ppl are different each other (eniyan buruku ti ba eniyan rere je) due to our past experience, we have general bad impression abt ppl especially if you are from lagos but we can still try more....... Thanks God will strengthen you all to Be able to achieve this (Amen)
@ FBI/CIA to Badt! I felt undercover agents of your caliber in t'he secret service only spoke english! But your yoruba quotation na A level. We must get better on this thread, collectively we shall make it happen! U too much jor!! |
justi4jesu: @ goodtalk Hahaha u called me 3times and I answered, thanks for the prayers and hope u really prayed for me...Be rest assured that i indeed prayed for you, your job posting encourages those on t'he field looking for job, God bless you! Am currently thinking of how we can take this thread to t'he next level, i think we give a lot of advise to people and in most times it stops there, i feel going forward we need to be more physically involved in assisting those we advise, for example who says kaffi4tope or the igwe cannot personally pick up a thread member from the airport on arrival? Assist him/her with hotel accomodation and shortley after assist get a shared accomodation? Maybe at a token fee for such assistance! New travllers will deffinatly appreciate such broderly gestures and save them from the hands of fraudstars! And as per jobs, from all i have read in recent days i know that some agents in dubai collect money to connect job seekers in dubai, i assume old timers in dubai like the igwe, justi4tope and others might know a few reliable fellows that can do this, all we need to do is to have a coordinated approch every of such arrangments will be coordinated from t'he palace in dubai. For example just4tope tells igwe i know a fellow that has helped 10 people get a job in dubai for a fee and t'he igwe asks are you very sure? And t'he igwe commences investigation and after his investigation if convinced he can tell despirate people looking for job like jemmyNG to try it out, i know if t'he palace gives such an advise people will be willing to try it because of t'he integrity off our palace people, pls note from all experiences i have gatherd from home and abroad i know you can never throw away or disregard the advice of men and woman that have been on ground for years before you arrived. I like what justi4tope is doing expecially as to t'he information on her signature, but i feel much more needs to be done to assist ourselfs and the approch has to be more direct. Introducing a new concept may raise eyebrows but at t'he end it may turnout well, i feel this despirate measure of assisting to get jobs should be mainly focused on those whose visas are about to kalax {expire} soon.the story of GemB was very enlightning and i know a lot more people would have learned from his experience. Keep up t'he good work! ![]() |
justi4jesu: Security Guards with minimum 2 YEARS UAE (DUBAI) Experience required.. @ justi4jesu! Justi4jesu!! Justi4jesu!!! How many times did i call your name? Oya kneel down, close your eyes and recieve prayers for t'he wonderful job you are doing! {He starts praying in tongues manda baka saluka nakuta! You are blessed! My people una unday wo nu o! |
akpomeme: Please point of correction this event has been schedule long before NGF election. If you don't understand the workings of the president's schedule you should ask.its not true ![]() |
Gbawe: I am not asking her not to defend the interest of Nigerians. Merely stating she should do it intelligently and not muddy up issues with bellicose talk that reveals she has not even taken time to understand the full picture.i simply wonder why you are belly aching over an issue as clear as the day light! And whatever be the real reason behind t'he action of Britain it pales into insignificance as Nigerians dont form t'he greatest numbers of visitors overstaying there welcome at least if t'he article posted by E gurrilla is anything to go by, t'he caucasians are t'he greatest flaunters of t'he visit visa regime. Having said that the position of hon Abike dabiri on t'he matter is abt! How else can you explain why t'he british prime minister told t'he world that they would be cutting aids from Nigeria for its refusal to support same sex marriage or homosexual/lesbian intimasy of course you can ask me of what relevance is this to solving maternal mortality and polio eradication for which some this aids where meant to address! So please spear me your munbo jumbo talk of Abike dabiri not getting a grasps of t'he issue! We need to strike at t'he heart of british intreast in Nigeria to change this obnosious and draculian bulshit of new visa regim, how many travllers can afford to keep 750 thousand naira in t'he vault of t'he queen for six months without any intreast incruable? Wicked imperialists hissssssssss! ![]() |
OdionOdion: There is much display of naivety and high level expression of bile against President Jonathan especially on this Gov Amaechi's NGF discussion. Hundreds of Gov Amaechi can never be equal to one President Goodluck Jonathan(CFR),there is no basis whatsoever for Amaechi and Jonathan comparism.President has solid track records as an academia before entering politics.Gov Amaechi was a PA to Peter Odili at Pamo Clinic along Aba road Rumuomasi in Port Harcourt prior Peter Odili becoming deputy governor and Governor in Rivers State.Peter Odili made Gov Amaechi whatever he has attained today.Amaechi despite ALL that Odili did for him,Amaechi declared Peter Odili and the family a personal nondratal.Gov Amaechi has good track record of betrayal of even fellow students who survived him while he strugling with poverty in UNIPORT.People like Kachy,Peter,Briggs,Abiye,Esther and the host of others.Amaechi has history and those of us that knew that him appreciate his nothingness, No amount of rains can was off the Leopard's spots. It will be a misnomer if Gov Amaechi is seem to be on this same page with President Jonathan. If pro Gov Amaechi's NGF boycot the President's Dinner because of Amaechi, will they also boycot the President's security meeting. The president remain the President of the whole Nation, while the governors remain sub national leaders. The gap is obvious.your submissions are merely inconsequential rantings of bias! Mind you t'he tainted toga t'he presedent wears is not CFR but GCON! And i wonder what is grand about jona? Amaechi may have had issued in his past life but from your narration it can be seen that he grew by dint of had work from t'he ranks, served his time and today he is auguably t'he most influencial governor in nigeria! Jonathan was a man that had no shoes growing up and was t'he son of a canoe carver who by share providence came to political life! His soujourn in t'he academia was lack luster as he was a doctor of zoology and am yet to see any past student in uniport ulogise him for his academic dxterity while he taught there! He should stop bringing into disrepute t'he seal and office of t'he president, all nigerians can see his travail and we feel sorry for t'he drowing man! ![]() |
noblezone: Jonathan, break their backbones!. HisssssssssSssss. I can see you are amoung t'he drummers encouraging t'he dancing of t'he mad man in t'he market place thereby shaming his relatives! If it was jang that called a meeting coinciding with amaechi i would understand but why mr presedent? How long will jona denegrate t'he office of t'he presedent of t'he federal republic of Nigeria! Shame on t'he first family!! |
Ayatullah: If you really know your bible and not just put it under your pillow while sleeping you ought to have read how God's Prophets in the bible put their forehead on the ground to worship the one and only God, Jesus the son of Mary did same, so what are you talking about hitting head on the ground.............being abusive CANNOT replace the TRUTH, use your God given power of reasoning and don't be a lazy abusive Nairalander.Alfa! kindly note that our lord and saviour jesus christ never prayed facing the east with his head continiously knocking the ground while reciting a religious creed and after word making supplication on a piece of bead! Address straight up what u have issues with and peraventure i might shed some light to extricate you from darkness. |
gorgton: I think Yinka, the fraudulent agent is still in that LISTER building in IBADAN. Because as at February while i was still in Nigeria, i noticed he was still there. Stay off him!hmmmmmmmmmm my friend gorgton we are gradually becoming tired of your direct approach to character assasination on this thread and you went as far as to upload another fellows picture accusing him of being a fraudstar, i understand how you feel but you must excercise some caution , if a man swindles you please report him to t'he police for investigation, can you put an advert in t'he newsper calling somebody a fraudstar? They wont even print it! Let this attitude not be a case of bad belly, my neigbor is doing better than me in business so he must be a thief or ritualist, pls watch what you paste on t'he internet that cannot be immidiatly verified by readers! |
if what Honourable Pastor Adeboye preaches is as good as he claim and the stuff is worth exporting across the shores of Nigeria, how come none of you can defend your faith when you are called to a simple debate (Enoch Adeboye vs Zakir Naik) for instance at least you need to let your millions of followers know they have definitely made a wise choice. We are all students of knowledge and we haven't lost all sense of reasoning. Be gone sentiment, be gone. Expand as much as you can, Smear the seemingly vulnerable people with your propaganda as much as you can, the TRUTH will definitely overtake u all within a blink of an eye. The world is not waiting for Nigeria, rather we are been ridiculed and this is just another folly. RESEARCH YOUR HOLY BOOK, ASK QUESTIONS, ASK YOUR LEADERS, DON'T JUST FOLLOW BLINDLY. That is what is killing us my dear Nigerians. What exactly is your point? You are gradually being sucked up in personal religious aggranisment void of clear reasoning! State clearly what t'he cross of your intellectial/ spritual ailment is so i and others of like minds can assist you! |
SniperInADiaper: Theres no evidence needed dear.. Ghana is shitMy friend smell t'he roses and face facts! Its people like you that pull down others in order to look good. If just for t'he 24 hours electricity ghana has, is that not an enviable fact! Hissssssssss people living in darkness mentality! Aru! ![]() |

Optimisticgondy: Please House, I want to know if International passport will be needed for authentication at the foreign affair ministry and the number of passport photographs needed at the ministry.both international passport and passport photos are not needed! |
jammyng: just want to inform the house i'll be leaving dubai on thursday night to nigeria except something comes up urgently. i've not been able to get a job without paying any agent.oga dont dample the the zeal of hundreds of men and women making up there minds to travel! If you are still kine on remaining in dubai simply renew your visa for another month and keep job hunting!i assure you it will turn out well at t'he end if you stay strong! ![]() |
Kcxee: Hmmm first of all wat is d website NSCDC www.I no talk....ha ha ha ha ! U be clown! |
