Watch out guys! There used to be a time when we chased rogues and beat the heck out of them. No tires around their neck or lynching. A few got cunning. They would disappear into the crowd chasing them and push an innocent guy forward shouting Ole Ole! Governors, former Presidents, politicians and now Buhari wants to join the crowd shouting Ole Ole Ole! Who are we protesting against? |
Who is this guy Ikengawo? Wonder who he is working for. Judas! Ikengawo: |
Nigeria Police Shoot You Dead For Money As Foreign Police Shoot You while Black Abroad |
Greyboy, So there are people here still taking you seriously after you've lost all credibility and common sense as a Fake. |
Personal wealth in the rich Western countries dwarf government wealth. Indeed they say Starve The Beast or the Government. They run government into deficits while individuals are loaded. In Africa we sell finite natural resources for income that are stolen by leaders. These leaders use individuals to create personal weatlh for themselves through unequal playing field and looting foreign reserve. Japan, China, Korea use plastics to make themselves rich while Britain and USA use currency manipulation and Devaluations to extort money from developing countries. They have loyal slaves educated at Oxford and Harvard, used as bull dogs to enforce their economic hypothesis in developing countries that has never worked to their favor. |
Anonimi, I know you mean well but it is not about complying with standard or Innoson. No matter how Africa goods are refined to their standard, they block us to gain unfair trade balance in their favor. Obama tried AGOA. Banana from the Caribbean countries was used to play them against one another. What standard does banana have to meet? African food (which I oppose) were left rotten at ports in Europe and America. They do not want us out of their economic domination. https://ustr.gov/issue-areas/trade-development/preference-programs/african-growth-and-opportunity-act-agoa anonimi: |
All government can do is create equal playing field, tax progressively and regulate commerce. No government has created wealth anywhere, not even in China. But government can enhance people's initiatives. |
So Nigerian mentality, eh? Na which mentality be your own. Look, there is an Igbo saying that even when age is respected, achievement is revered. There should be no conflict between the two. KingAzubuike: |
Oh my Home Oh My Home When when shall I see my Native land I will never forget my Home. |
Once upon a time before the vultures got into Power. We used to have community action where common people in the villages and towns used to do self-help, help build houses for one another over a feast, build roads, clinics and townhalls. There were Esusu from which individuals started businesses. Teacher was the most noble profession. Was really surprised to see these overseas. If you want to see old Nigeria, go to small countries in Europe, rural America and the West Indies. Ahh, Nigeria got rich and became the poverty ridicule of the world. Jump, jump, jump into any country from your shithole and watch them rub their asses with your faces. |
Love it or leave it. There is no doubt that since Military took over, Nigeria has been going down. But we must face reality, some of us are worse than our leaders. Wealth is not created in a country. Individuals create wealth and make the country rich. Every Nigerian holds a bowl begging the Government and the leaders for manna. Indeed, the Government tax individuals to make money. Americans are wealthy but the Government is run on borrowed money. Stop looking up to the leaders you created, get sense and start patronizing yourselves at home. |
So for 13.40 an hour in US, you will Japa? This points to the misconception about USA. My Bro, nobody survivea on that type of wage in America. You cannot even pay for one bedroom apartment in a good nonviolent neighborhood, not to mention paying for gas and electricity. Unless you go begging for food, you will starve and be homeless! Do not let gullible people lure you into emotional and physical misery. movingclouds: |
Once a crook always a crook. Just as suspected before he ran for President. No wonder some Nigerians support him and rather to demonstrate. |
Stop pushing nonessential hypothesis. What about the Africans you meet there, it is not their home country? You left your country for vangabons and gave them opportunities to loot and then complain. You can never achieve the potential to benefit your people outside, but paid to make others richer. when they are given the opportunities which they lacked in their home country; and this is a clear proof to the fact that Africans are not dumb after all, but actually smarter. |
These are the types of warped logic that make foreign land attractive to naive Nigerians. When they find out how hard it is to make a buck in America, they resort to do or die. Forget about a million. It is easier to make N460 in Nigeria than to make a dollar in US. But what Nigerians will do to make a buck in the US, they will never do it for 450 naira in Nigeria. This is why it is easier for some of us to leave our villages and head to the city to do any honest dirty job and even nefarious activities none would try in his village. Openbusiness: |
Now I feel bad for this lady. Most well educated and powerful ladies can empathize with her. This new rumor of marriage. |
Nigeria is dead. It will take a Nigerian that can form a quorum to wake it up, not Heaven that only helps if you help yourselves. The guy gave you a simple rational way that even a dummy can understand, but miseducated and indoctrinated Africans, operating on mental slavery are comparing one naira to one dollar. Are you educated enough, if you are not old enough to know that one Nigerian pound was one British pound or seven and six pence to a US dollar? What changed? Junk importation, Structural Adjustment and Political Devaluations based outside of gold standard found in abundance in Gold Coast. Nigeria exported less but more important, Nigeria depended much more on local products then. This guy made BUY NIGERIAN products and services into simple a b c d you learned in primary schools. Yet, you guys are comparing US one dollar to one Naira. Who put this curse and indoctrination on you? Oil Income! |
Is it only outside Africa that a police would shoot you while Black? In many African countries, lack of respect for the sanctity of lives are increasing while we protest about the lives of our brothers and sisters wasted for no other reason than the colour of their skin abroad. There is a difference. Regardless of who you are as a Black man, you can be harassed abroad. A sitting USA’s Senator, Tim Scott is not above par. So in America, they Internationally remind you that you are Black. Ask Harvard Professor Louis Gate. When some Africans claim that they are free from harassment and are appreciated abroad, some of us laugh. In Africa, if you are rich, a politician or a big man, Police will protect you. But if you decide to become a member of the Opposition or criticize the politicians they would send the Police after you like in Turkey. Most African politicians cannot stand the scrutiny of vigorous and Free Press. |
Well, I agree with you too. Actually the more languages you speak, the broader your mind. It is not that the French that refused to speak English with you cannot speak English better than you. It reminds me of President Francois Mitterrand of France and George Papandreou of Greece. As you may know they taught in American universities at one point. So sometimes they look at their English interpreters like - that's not what I said. There is even Le Mond, an English newspaper in France. But you made my point about vernacular in schools. After all that, you come here with impunity to speak French and ignore someone asking for interpretation. Yet, when we speak Nigerian languages, some people say it is impolite not to translate. AreaFada2: |
You, your children and grandchildren do not speak your language to one another. You only speak English, French or Portuguese with pride. You go to Paris and speak English to them on the streets, even a fluent English speaker would look at you in disdain. Here you come writing French with pride even refusing translation when politely asked. Shame on you Africans holier than Pope. |
So Jonathan Azake is not Hausa, he must also be one of those Southerners. Privilege is too sweet to give up willingly. It must be taken. You have to start the same killing Usman Dan fodio did as retaliation before the Fulani leave. |
Southern Kaduna is boiling and the Hausa are waking up after they have been put to sleep by Fulani for over a century. Hausa Power Lives Matter No, Hausa and Fulani are not ONE. Enough of that bull! |
We cannot kill hope and give up on Nigeria. Actually, we have no choice because our progress at home determines how we and those that look like us are treated outside. Despite all the crash courses one or two pages of trying to boast confidence by some of us, our youths have lost hope at home. The irony is, it the same youths that are labelling themselves and the communities they come from the worst epitaph foreigners would not use in civilized countries. Anybody that survived the desert and sea is now a hero celebrated at home. How have we fallen! As for European and African Americans coming back, they are not proportionally enough compared to the recent past. Actually, many of them are disappointed. They long for a place to run to but watch Nigerians running out to share pittance thrown at Natives and celebrating because anything is better than home. Which white man would travel to Africa for pittance? They are invited, recruited and promised bigger loot as Foreign Portfolio Investors. Given Free Tax Zones apart from using our Attorney General as members of the Board. Confront your devil at home. We have cursed children used as sacrifice at the shrines encouraging our leaders. Did you hear that talented Nigerians were ready to board Slave planes to Europe and America with Stopover in Libya? |
When you are satisfied with your village, city or country what would you be looking for outside? Until recently, most Lagosians hardly cross Carter Bridge. They attracted them with beautiful houses, flower garden in front and individual farming in the backyard. They still refused to move to Surulere. . SocialJustice: |
The mental torture Black face in Europe and America not to mention Asia is so damaging to their children, the indelible scar will be there for ever no matter what they achieve. It is even worse for Natives that have no where to relate to emotionally and psychologically. When the whte Mayor of New York has to have the "talk" with his own son because he is married to a black woman, you have to wonder why any Nigerian that had the opportunity to lead, rule and destroy that country has the audacity to condemn it while Minorities that never has a chance watch. You have a country, you destroyed it and run to other countries to destroy them. No wonder they kick Nigerians out everywhere. Try that in UK or USA, they will scatter scatter your heads with bullets worse than death sentence in Asia or Arab countries. |
It has been obvious for a while that this guy came from a lineage of conquered Bini slaves. He rejected Ogiamen, Ogiso, Eweka, Oghene, Bini prominent gods including Ogun. This man belongs to a bunch of Untouchables that could not find ways to escape or held back when the Urhobo and others flee. This man should be pitied, he is in denial and generational pain trying to rewrite his slave history. Pity this guy in misery. gregyboy: |
Yes we cut ourselves into pieces these days Bini, Esan, Gbagi, Nupe or Tapa. This is why they call us tribes even when our population was more than theirs and still is. The technology of Non Culture, iron, terracotta and I do Eleru 10,000 BC was only found within the Yoruba. |
If you spend all of your income or budget on USA arms, you will still get nothing. You know why USA refused to sell Jonathan arms, the Commander of Africom looked at your budget, the cost of what Nigeria wanted would wipe out a third of your budget. Iran said Saudi Arabia could buy all the arms they want from USA, they do not have to buy from anyone. They make their own arms. Compare them with Nigeria in the 60s. BTW, they demonstrated their capability to the world when they hit US troops in Irag. Your types have been ruling the Country for a long time. My last reply to you. NGpatriot: |
So if you do not know the difference between modern, foreign and civilized it is my fault. It makes me anti-Nigerian? I thought you have more sense than that. You have strengthed out your hands as a beggar since Independence for foreign aids, foreign portfolio investments, foreign jobs and military aids. You really think they are FREE! Depend on yourselves for a change. Nigeria kicked Ebola, USA was scared to death mongering fears. By our ingenuity and determination we shall kick Covid-19. If we can do those, Nigeria has potential for greater heights. You cannot see connection between that and military aid, actually bug or listening post given to you for FREE! Think harder man. NGpatriot: |
This is painful, no matter which part of Nigeria you come from. Nigerians should not be treated this way in any African country. We have lost it in Africa and the rest of the world. Until we go back to what made Nigeria before Oil Income, it is going to get worse. All the greed for money, conspicuous spending at home and outside, chest beating, celebration of immaterial achievements etc have not impressed anyone or our standing outside. We must recoup our standing in the world. This is too painful. Not from Ghana, our closest brothers in Africa. |
Everything does not have to turn into ethnic wars. No part of United States should be used as a listening post in any African country. So it is modern and first class because it is foreign. When is anything coming out of your villages going to be modern and first class? The last I heard, USA is carrying last in the world on Covid-19 cases and death, even behind Nigeria. We need to help them out. |
