Lagos still top the bank deposit and credit but bank deposit and credit only show Federal allocations to states and contracts. How can anyone count Federal allocations when we are talking about internal generated revenue.

Lagos has done well without Federal Allocation for Lagos States. Federal Government have presence and bank deposit in every states. It does not count towards the wealth of that state. It is used for Federal projects and staff from all over Nigeria. Internal generated revenue does count as a measure of state wealth.

It's like the richest oil producing states claiming they generate more internal revenue than Ogun states because of Federal allocation in banks. Common now who is fooling who?

Without Federal allocation into Eastern states, they will fold up.

Biafra bags must go. You have oversold yourselves. You have to sell your little land that is overcrowded already to Ogun State.

Kongi and Benue came out against Kanu including them in Biafra.

Education › JAMB: More Than 10,000 Candidates Caught Cheating In Anambra by googi(op): 3:46am On May 22, 2017
The Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) says more than 10,000 candidates caught for examination malpractices in the ongoing UTME in Anambra have been handed over to appropriate authority.

Lynda Nwachukwu, the Coordinator of the board in Anambra, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Awka on Saturday.

NAN reports that the all computer-based testing (CBT) mode 2017 UTME, which started on May 13 in 642 centres nationwide, ended on May 20.

Ms. Nwachukwu said the examination, which took place in 28 centres in the state, was successful.

“There was no disruption of the exercise in any of the examination centres,’’ she said.

The coordinator said the candidates adhered strictly to the requirements of the examination, adding that JAMB provided all the materials required for the examination.

NAN correspondent, who monitored the last batch of the examination, reports that some parents complained of system failure in some CBT centres in the state.

Eucharia Okonkwo, a parent, said her daughter, who wrote the examination at the St Mary’s High School Ifite-Dunu centre, could not complete the examination due to the faulty computer and network failure at the centre.

According to her daughter, many candidates could not complete the questions in record time because of the faulty system.

Ms. Okonkwo advised JAMB to plan well for examination in subsequent years to avoid the technical hitches that could give the candidates psychological trauma.

Mose Mojekeh, Head, Department of Marketing at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, told NAN on telephone that such system failure in UTME was not acceptable.

According to him, the hiccups could potentially deny young people from Anambra State university admission.

Mr. Mojekeh advised JAMB to urgently collate the number of candidates affected and set another examination for them.

He also decried the practice whereby JAMB sends officials from one state to supervise examinations in another state.

“Experience has shown that such officials do not care much about the candidates when problems arise, as they leave them to their fate,’’ the lecturer said.

He called on the management of schools, whose candidates experienced the computer failure, to take their complaints to the State Ministry of Education to present their cases.

JAMB concluded the 2017 CBT UTME on May 20.

Our young generation would rather face death penalty for drugs in Asia, drown in the sea, die as slaves in Arabian deserts, used as body parts than stay in Africa to fight their oppressors and looters for their future. We have seen repulsive and disturbing pictures of beautiful young men, women and children sacrificed for body parts. LOOTERS FEED YOUTHS TO ARABIAN SLAVERY BODY PARTS & ASIAN DEATH PENALTY

Yet some Africans wonder why they cannot share glamor or comfortable lives enjoyed overseas by their relatives that tell them not to come over.

During the Civil Riots in the 60s and 70s, some African parents also refused to send their children to study in America. It was Britain, Canada, Soviet Union or other African universities. The riots we all saw on television then, were gruesome and inhuman including violence leading to the assassination of President J. F. Kennedy, Civil Right leaders Martin L. King and Malcolm X.

There is nothing wrong with staying home and fighting for your future. If you hate to stay away because you have comfortable home to return to, you can study or use your vacation abroad. It seems many young folks are still excited by the outrageous lies their lucky relatives live abroad without telling them about sacrificing their indignity no matter highly skilled they are. They endure insult, abuse, discrimination and ridicule to avoid harsh realities without merit at home.

They are stuck between a rock and a hot place. Neither the rock nor a hot plate is comfortable enough to encourage relatives and friends into. Those that defied all odds are determined to venture out and experience the unimaginable consequences: too sad tales of failures, regret and embarrassment. Even before refugee crisis got so bad and politics turned sour, the free richest country in the world has more people in jail per capita than the communist countries.

African children are in tears overseas claiming they are treated worse at home! Do not cry for Africans, Africans must act because charity begins at home. Your salvation is not invitation letters from relatives overseas, it is your action at home. Until some African countries rise up and unlock the chain of economic injustice at home instead of selling its natural resources and people cheap, no black man will be respected anywhere in the world.

Nevertheless, Africans in Diaspora are generous and have been gracious with the amount of remittances they send home. However, it is not going to continue forever because the children of those sending money home will not continue since they lack the same emotional attachment to Africa. The more we destroy our countries in Africa out of selfishness, the least attractive it is for those children to point to a place they can be proud of to call home.

But some Africans abroad are not as generous to one another as they used to, because they have become infected with callousness and intolerance from their hosts resulting in the worst inhuman behavior to fellow Africans that have never existed before. If you saw video of Africans prostituting other Africans, it is true. If you saw video of Africans stifling Africans to death, it is true. If you see some lucky Africans that escape slavery, prostitution and drowning in the sea, pointing out another African that treated them worse than his employer, it is true.
What is not true is the claim that they did not know what they were getting into. Many swore allegiance to their recruiters in Africa before leaving to be prostitutes, maids, drug pushers, 419 and those grannie drug mules or courier in videos used to blackmail them if they reneged. Their relatives are not left off the hook, since poor parents get phone calls asking for ransom before their children are released from one slave master selling them to the next slave master.

Unfortunately, Asians are also recruiting for body parts marketing of young Africans from our countries as their passports and transportation are taken care of through various embassies. In the 21st century, Africans are going through another form of slavery even worse than they went through before because mass revolts are muted and our vagabond politicians are accomplices.

If you destroy your own countries in Africa, who will let you destroy theirs? There are two types of refugees running out of Africa. One of these had their lives in danger and faced imminent death if they do not flee. Unfortunately, the other is economic refugee. One is accepted as genuine refugee, the other is seen as opportunist. Some of these opportunists are so rich; they have given the poor students bad a reputation when competing for scholarships against locals.

Another class of refugees is those seeking medical treatment that would die if denied. Even this class, has been abused by unscrupulous characters that have looted either the treasury or stolen money from their companies seeking to have their children born overseas so that they could be conferred with automatic citizenship at birth, while wrecking their home countries.

Humans like to travel wide but there is no place like home. In the days Africans could not wait to finish their studies so that they could go back home, African Americans and British Africans followed their colleagues home to be free of discrimination. They had movements of “Back To Africa” in the days they were told Africans were less than human; and should be glad they were brought as slaves overseas. Today our young people are spending a fortune to travel there.

One would think that the inhuman treatment of our young people outside Africa would wake our politicians up to provide enabling environment for young folks in order to survive at home. No, they do not care, thinking their loot would buy them and their children a peace of mind abroad. Some of them are stripped at the airports, jailed for money laundering or other crimes and their money confiscated: denying Africans countries foreign cash and leaving us in ruins.

The whole world watch as Nigerian politicians stuff foreign currencies in sewage tanks, burial ground, rented apartments but none put into local hospitals, schools and factories. They travel abroad at any cost for ready-made schools and hospitals they refuse to provide at home. No amount can save their lives anywhere. If you do not cry for African children, you are not human.

Oh, there are patriotic Africans that have given their best to their countries. As soon as they build and take a few steps forward, destroyers and vultures come to regress their effort taking many steps back. No matter how hard common people work and produce, it is never enough because mis-educated African and foreign economists intentionally give false reasons to devalue their efforts and currencies in order to pay for projects that can only benefit a few.

Thank you, you have now gone from Igbo invention to shared writing.

The insibidi speakers and writers spoke before they wrote. That credit of sharing with their neighbors in Nigeria does not give Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba neighbors they shared it with, sole claim.

FYI, fattening is not peculiar to Aqua-Cross alone. In Onitsha we have Yoruba and Edo speakers blending into Igbo.

I was equally surprised at the relationship of Aqua-Cross with Hausa until Attah became a governor. Should Hausa claim him solely as theirs?

THE FORTY-FIVE MILLION DOLLARS LOST & FOUND IS MINE

Where else can one hide his money from armed robbers? It is unfortunate that we cannot put money in the bank, at the farm, in the freezer, in a sewage tank and inside our house anymore; without some busy bodies revealing it to Economic and Financial Crime Commission. The forty-five million dollars found in that Ikoyi apartment is mine. It must be returned immediately to me otherwise EFCC will see me in the court of law under democracy and the rule of law.

This money and others that was misplaced came from Ofada Rice business sold all over Africa. If the court can unfreeze Mrs. Patient Jonathan’s money, I want the same court under democracy and the rule of law and order to call EFCC to order even before I file my complaint. The only place people like us can get justice is in Nigeria. After all this money has not left the country. Indeed, out of patriotism, the money was kept in Nigeria instead of Dubai.

We have stopped putting money in western countries because of how Ibori, Alamsco and now the beautiful Princess Diezani is being shadowed by British police. They are very corrupt since they embezzled part of Ibori’s loot. Their judicial system took incriminating exhibit, smuggled evidence and testimony from that traitor Nuhu Ribadu to convict Ibori. No fair and just court adhering to the rule of law and justice would do that in Nigeria. No be joke A dey joke O!

Justice Ademola must preside over my case when filed in court. The honorable Judge of high pedigree understands the high handedness of Buhari’s EFCC and ICPC war on those who earned their raw foreign currencies fair and square. Indeed, the judicial system in Nigeria is one of the best in the whole world. Where else would the Chief Justice of Appeal Court accuse the Chief Justice of Nigeria of miscarriage of justice and influence peddling if not in Nigeria?

People think we forget. It is sad that any politician can hire a crowd to protest for as little as a thousand naira per head. With forty-five millions dollars, anyone can imagine what I would do if I triple that going rate plus ten sachets of rice. My people would Occupy EFCC and ICPC. Some of you do not realize how powerful the masses are until they exhibit and unleash their anger. When EFCC found my money, did they think all that cashistics grew from the cement?

It should be obvious to EFCC that every possible or probable owner of this money has denied anything to do with it. Most of the cash found in unholy places have moved from one agency to another. By the time we ask what happened to all the cash found, they have disappeared. This one must not disappear. Anyone that knows how many billions of grains there are in Ofada Rice will understand that forty –five millions in any currency is a small change.

Some planners were already hired and we were planning how to turn Makoko, Otodo Gbame and Ajegunle into paradise. Most reasonable people know that we have to build low cost housing for the people to move to. This was exactly what we did at Ita-Akanni before we finally get people to move to Suru-lere. $45 million is a drop in the bucket for the implementation of our noble project. Every reasonable person must appeal to EFCC to release the money to me.

A girl was found living among monkeys in an Indian forest. How she got there is a mystery.
By Samantha Schmidt April 7 at 4:19 AM
Girl reportedly found living with monkeys

Police in northern India are reviewing reports of missing children from the past few years in the hopes of identifying a young girl who they say they found more than two months ago in a forest living among a group of monkeys. (AP)

Amid a troop of monkeys in the Katraniaghat forest range in northern India roamed a naked human girl, playing with the primates as if she were one of them. She looked emaciated, her hair disheveled. But she appeared to be in a comfortable state, until the police arrived.

A group of woodcutters had alerted authorities after spotting the girl, believed to be 10 to 12 years old. When police approached her, the monkeys surrounded the girl, protecting her as one of their own, and attacking an officer as the girl screeched at him, the New Indian Express reported this week. After rescuing the girl, the officer sped away in his patrol car, the monkeys chasing him.

She was soon admitted to a state-run hospital in Bahraich, a city in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, where she has remained for the past two months. Doctors believe the girl had been raised by monkeys for quite some time, and her story has so far mystified authorities, sending them searching through reports of missing children in an attempt to identify her, according to the Associated Press.

In the Indian press, the girl has also drawn comparisons to Rudyard Kipling’s Mowgli, a feral child from Seoni, India, featured as the prominent character in Kipling’s “The Jungle Book.”

Based on her behavior, it appears she could have lived among the primates since she was an infant, Bahraich police officer Dinesh Tripathi told the New Indian Express. When the girl arrived at the hospital, she had wounds all over her body. “Her nails and hair were unkempt like monkeys,” Tripathi said.

The thin, weak girl looked like she had not eaten for many days. Although she was capable of walking on her feet, she would sometimes suddenly drop down on all fours.
ADVERTISING

“The way she moved, even her eating habits were like that of an animal,” D.K. Singh, chief medical superintendent at Bahraich District Hospital, told the Associated Press in an interview recorded on video. “She would throw food on the ground and eat it directly with her mouth, without lifting it with her hands. She used to move around using only her elbows and her knees.”

Now, doctors are tasked with teaching her how to transition to life as a human, a task that initially proved difficult because of her aversion to human interaction.

“She behaves like an ape and screams loudly if doctors try to reach out to her,” Singh told the New Indian Express. Another doctor treating her said the girl struggles to understand anything, and makes apelike noises and facial expressions.

But over the past two months, the girl’s health and behavior have improved significantly, doctors say. She has begun to walk normally by herself and eat food with her own hands. She is still unable to speak, and has begun to use gestures to communicate. Occasionally, she smiles, according to a hospital spokesman, Sky News reported.

Numerous stories of feral children like the young girl exist both in legend and in documented cases in history. Some recent cases include children who, like this girl, were raised by primates. A British woman named Marina Chapman claimed to have lived with monkeys from the ages of 4 to 9 in the Colombian jungle and later wrote a book about it, although some questioned the veracity of the tale. A disabled Nigerian boy named Bello was found living with chimpanzees for 18 months in 1996 after he had been abandoned by his family.

Six-year-old John Ssebunya was found living with green vervet monkeys in the Ugandan jungle in 1991. He is believed to have run away from home when he was 3 years old after seeing his father murder his mother. He was placed in an orphanage and was later adopted. He learned to speak, became a member of the Pearl of Africa children’s choir and participated in the Special Olympics, later moving into a home of his own.

Ssebunya’s story was featured in a number of documentaries, including a three-part Animal Planet series, “Raised Wild,” in which anthropologist and broadcaster Mary-Ann Ochota investigated three cases of feral children, in Uganda, the Ukraine and Fiji.

On her website, Ochota wrote about her experiences meeting these former feral children and learning their stories. Cases of feral children can provide insight into human child development, cultural attitudes to disability, and how different societies categorize and explain relationships between humans and animals. But these “strange, feral children are also often a source of shame and secrecy within a family or community,” she wrote.

“These aren’t Jungle Book stories, they’re often harrowing cases of neglect and abuse,” Ochota wrote. “And it’s all too likely because of a tragic combination of addiction, domestic violence and poverty. These are kids who fell through the cracks, who were forgotten, or ignored, or hidden.”

Hmmm... I like this. There are questions though...

If blacks ruled Europe, how is it that the Europeans saw blacks as sub-human species only fit to be sold as slaves? How come the blacks that ruled Europe lost their influence to the extent of being wiped out? Today there are no traces, except for these 'artworks'. Why is that so?

You share same school of thought as me. If the blacks were the rulers in the past over the Europeans, what then happened?

This article is still relevant now with corrupt judges going free after been caught red handed, Patient Jonathan million dollars unfrozen, Ibori free and celebrated. You can rent our youths for N1000.00 per head to demonstrate for Saraki8 or anyone. Naija you do well. Please weep for Nigeria!

Chei Naija,

See how discussion change o. From logic of educated looter's sympathizers to simple English. Sorry the double negatives confused you. Next time, I will do better. I hope you are cheering for Mrs. Jonathan too. They just unfreeze her account.

See how money dey play money.

porka:
You are entitled to your paranoia!

Meantime, try and write in simple English.

Look at how much space you use spewing garbage. The money that should be used to prevent hard working folks for raising families instead of committing suicide, create decent jobs at home, take care of infrastructure, provide affordable food and shelter is draining like water through the basket. Kwenu!

porka:
Are you also saying that all “common accused” who have been discharged and acquitted should have been jailed for 100+ years?

This type of psychological manipulations of your audience against your perceived political opponents is the sum total of the entire Buhari politics.

Such can only appeal to emotionally unstable folks who lack self-confidence and ability to compete fairly in an open sphere.

To you, it is an excellent thing if people you don’t like are held up in trump-up charges without open and transparent legal process to assert their culpability or innocence.

People who use their minds more than their emotion don’t fall for such; even if it’s against their staunchest political foes.

If you remove such emotional exploitation of gullible minds from Buhari’s politics, what is left is total emptiness; which has SHOWN clearly in the last 2 years of his governance.

The number of able-bodied folks that have been turned to destitute is increasing daily. The number of people who are ready to jump into the Lagoon at the slightest sign of life’s setback (even by highly trained top uniformed officers) is also a clear evidence of this.

Come up with proofs that this judge and those people you mentioned are indeed guilty of the allegations and convince the trial judge(s) why you think they should be sentenced to 100+ years.

Nothing stops the EFCC/DSS/ICPC etc. from appealing the sentences up to the Supreme Court if they are dissatisfied with the rulings.

That is the most basic fulcrum upon which democracy and the rule of law rest – IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL FEELINGS OR FRUSTRATIONS.

Blame the prosecution and prosecutors all you want for throwing the case. You guys are either hypocrites or ignorant.

Ribadu could not prove his case against Ibori, he had to smuggle the same evidence out for others to get conviction in London. Today he is a celebrated hero.

Prosecution could not prove their case against Tinubu. If he had been charged for drugs pushing in Nigeria, he could have beat it. In USA, he forfeited all the money in two accounts or so.

Is the Judge going to get the bribe money back to celebrate his freedom?

There was this guy called O.J. Simpson. He beat the prosecution with brilliant lawyers that righly injected race and police bias into his case. Where is he now?

You see, people who made law and order also made pencil and eraser. Go on celebrating what you have little grasp of as long as it supports your whims.

Guess who is bleeding to death, losing all this money unaccounted for. What do you care ..
