Liability:Sorry, no vex! |
jmoore:I went through the links you pasted and discovered that there were modifications for each blog. That is a different additional opening and closing sentences. Since the tread is causing so much uproar, is there a way Mod Obinoscopy can delete it? Thanks in advance! |
Obinoscopy:I'm an anonymous writer. So, I'm really suprised by the links Jmoore posted. Don't know what to say. Maybe it's time I got to another level. Anyways, thanks for the keen observation. You are doing a great job by the way! |
jmoore:Wow... The first time I'm seeing this on people's blog. I never should have pasted this on facebook. |
What you must understand is that there are many people on social network sites who have serious self-esteem issues. They hate themselves. They're convinced that they are ugly or that there's something inadequate about themselves. They hate their lives and anything around them. They have miserable relationships with men and women who don't value them. They were forced to abandon their dreams and ambitions. Some of them are successful in their careers, but they're still drowning in feelings of inadequacies. So basically, these are unhappy people. These people come on Nairaland and unleash their concealed resentment on complete strangers, because it is easier to confront the challenges of other people than it is their own. They're the kinds of people who, if you post a topic, will tell you that your topic is rubbish or that it is too long. They can't understand where your inspiration and confidence to write such lovely article comes from, because with their better brains, their insecurity eat them alive. These are people who laugh at your weaknesses and flaws, who thrive on seeing you miserable. They will tell you that you're this person they don't take seriously but will still follow every move you make, because beneath the surface, they envy you. They sit alone asking themselves what it is about you that makes you who you are. They want it, and because they don't know how to acquire it, they will try to dim your light. Once you understand this, you'll realize that not everyone who attacks you on Nairaland hates you. Some people hate themselves. It is therefore not so much them trying to make your life miserable but rather, them trying to make theirs bearable. Don't hate them, reflect on them, and remember that everyone is fighting their own unknown struggle. GG58 |
@Obinoscopy - Oga, if you have a link for my write up, you should post it. I don't do plagiarism, in fact I hate the act. Check out my profile, you'd see my other Topics. I write stuff depending on my mood, sometimes from personal experiences or other peoples experiences, alright? Cool? |

The way paracetamol is abused can't be graded. You can get access to a packets from anywhere ranging from hawkers, street vendors, supermarkets, and even Apoki's kiosk. The country needs a total reoreintation. May God help us! |
They should have given them forms and make their money. Because the way I see it, they don't have a chance of winning GEJ anyways. |

Every relationship has a cycle...in the beginning, you fall in love with your partner. You anticipate their calls, want their touch, and like their idiosyncrasies. Falling in love wasn't hard. In fact, it was a completely natural and spontaneous experience. You didn't have to DO anything. That's why it's called "falling" in love. People in love sometimes say, "I was swept of my feet." Picture the expression. It implies that you were just standing there; doing nothing, and then something happened TO YOU. Falling in love is a passive and spontaneous experience. But after a few months or years of being together, the euphoria of love fades. It's a natural cycle of EVERY relationship. Slowly but surely, phone calls become a bother (if they come at all), touch is not always welcome (when it happens), and your spouse's idiosyncrasies, instead od being cute, drive you nuts. The symptoms of this stage vary with every relationship; you will notice a dramatic difference between the initial stage when you were in love and a much duller or even angry subsequent stage. At this point, you and/or your partner might start asking, "Am I with the right person?" And as you reflect on the euphoria of the love you once had, you may begin to desire that experience with someone else. This is when relationships breakdown. The key to succeeding in a relationship is not finding the right person; it's learning to love the person you found. People blame their partners for their unhappiness and look outside for fulfillment. Extramarital fulfillment comes in all shapes and sizes. Infidelity is the most common. But sometimes people turn to work, a hobby, a friendship, excessive TV, or abusive substances. But the answer to this dilemma does NOT lie outside your relationship. It lies within it. I'm not saying that you couldn't fall in love with someone else. You could and TEMPORARILY you'd feel better. But you'd be in the same situation a few years later. Because (listen carefully to this):The key to succeeding in a relationship is not finding the right person; it's learning to love the person you found. SUSTAINING love is not a passive or spontaneous experience. You have to work on it day in day out. It takes time, effort, and energy. And most importantly, it demands WISDOM. You have to know WHAT TO DO to make it work. Make no mistake about it. Love is NOT a mystery. There are specific things you can do (with or without your partner). Just as there are also laws for relationships. If you know and apply these laws, the results are predictable. You can "make" love. Love is therefore a "decision", Not just a feeling. |
Its high time we diversified our nation's economy. |
