khattab02:It's true... But you should know that it is his agent and advisers that are pushing him. From his statement, "I'm not a money grabbing 20 year old", I realize that he has no say in the matter. |
Opiosko:But Mourinho commented on Sterling's contract saga. Chelsea may move for him in order to augment the team's English core. Remember that Ashley Cole, and Lampard left while Terry is old. Sterling may be seen as the young English replacement. |
I was reading Yuzedo's thread on "20 things weathy people do that poor people do not do" and came to realise this: Poor people have been oppressed for so long that when they taste money, it becomes obvious that it is something they are not used to. Even the things they spend money on are things that they desired as poverty-striken children, things that offer instant gratification as opposed to lifetime investments that will last generations to come. Fast cars, expensive watches, expensive clothes, whiskeys that are older than their grandparents, gadgets etc. That's the nature of the new wealth. While Old money whispers, new money screams... |
Op, if the aim of this thread is to make people laugh, erm... Don't just go into comedy! |
Football lovers, I saw this question on goal.com and decided to share here. With all the buzz surrounding the 20 year old sensation, Raheem Sterling of Liverpool Football Club, where do you think he will be next season? Arsenal Barcelona Bayern Munich Chelsea Liverpool Manchester City Manchester United PSG Real Madrid Other Your thoughts... |
It's been a year since these girls have been reported missing. Watching news, reading newspapers and following nairaland is one of the way of keeping myself updated! Been doing that a lot of times all along thinking to myself "who the heck are our so called legislators representing?" I happened to find myself in some hospital and someone passed on next door, the family mourned and mourned. Imagine if you were telling them "sorry"! Some instances, sorry just ain't the right word to use... It ain't word enough! I remember that woman who lost her husband and four children in the mandalla Christmas day bombing, she went mad on hearing the news. We can't lose 300 girls (over 3000 lives has been lost in the last 2 years alone) and then we are told that the Army, Navy, Airforce, SSS, or Police is now recruiting! For what? For Boko haram?? For Isis Come on, my Legislators(both old and newly elected), use those resources to create an intelligence team and I mean Intelligent! People who take alarms seriously! A body that can think like Boko Haram! You wanna beat them, then start thinking like they do!And lastly bring back our girls!! #BringBackOurGirls |
The cat is definitely coming down |
You will always be warned about the enemies you must be careful of, the ones who, during hard times, sit in a dark alley waiting for you to fall. What you're never warned about are the friends you must be careful of, the ones who give you a shoulder to cry on, but behind you, praying hard and hoping you never recover. Your enemies can only hurt you, but your friends can destroy you. After all, they know more about you, they have stronger weapons to fashion against you. Be as careful of your friends as you are of your enemies, if not more so. |
They should start investigating from the beginning. Where did they get the maid from? The picture of the maid is also needed here. The parents must be very worried now. They shouldn't panic because I believe the kids shall be found. |

“I was detained and later they asked me to pay N10, 000 for Monday’s treatment, which I did." “They then asked how I would produce my brother, and I decided to call him in their presence. His phone started ringing in the pocket of one of the policemen. The officer said the phone belonged to the man in the hospital, who had just died.” Nigerian Police Force - I hail o |
