Ora Ìgbómìnà is a town that's on the border of Ọṣun, Èkìtì, and Kwara states. Please is there anyone on Nairaland that's from the place that can help find out information about my half brothers and sister? One of my brothers name is Femi, a grandson of Ìyá Lasun who had an eatery. Last time I saw Femi was at our grandfather's house at Onikolobo circa 1989. Kemi, our younger sister, had not been born then. They were born in Kano and partly grew up there. Last information we have, was the unfortunate demise of their mother who was a nurse. They may be going by Oladipo or Ajala surname. Our father is no longer young and spry, and with his generation fropping off the face off the earth, one doesn't know tomorrow. Death doesn't have an appointment; sickness doesn't book a date. Please if you have any information, or can help to get it, let me know on the email address that is my monker at Gmail dot com. Or contact me via Twitter (see attached image). Yes, I have searched social media multiple times over and I have no lick of information about them Thank you Lalasticlala OAM4J Mynd44 dominique please if youc an help put on front page, I would be eternally grateful

A friend forwarded a brilliant article on Yoruba surname to me on WhatsApp (He got it from his dad who got it from his classmates'group - I really want to know who the masterful author is) and I think every Yoruba person can learn from it, so I'm sharing it below. There are many Yorùbá names whose meanings are now lost due to the fact that the words forming their roots are no longer in use. For instance, ask the young Master Ọlọ́pàádé the meaning of his name and he will probably tell you that his name means “the policeman has come“. Ask Mr. Ọlọ́paádé, his father, and he would probably tell you it means “the owner of the staff has come“. The two of them would be wrong as Ọlọ́pàádé actually means “the Ọpa (re|re) devotee has come“. The same goes for all other Ọpa names like Ọpatọ́lá, Ọpadọ̀tun etc. Those names show that the ancestors of the bearers of the names were worshippers or devotees of the Ọpa Cult otherwise called Awo Ọpa, one of the religious cults or secret societies proscribed by the British in colonial days.Brilliant isn't it? |
Go. Being in Taraba will also give you more allowance to save. Invest that savings and you have another stream of money |
Sigh. This is a bit tricky. If the widow (sigh) doesn't have a track record of being a business woman, it's going to be hard to make headway in the business. That's why I think selling provisions is a bad idea. The problem with buying financial instruments (bonds, treasury bills etc) now is that their rates of return is lower than that of inflation. So putting the money there slowly erodes what the money can buy. My advice is to go into farming. Let the woman enrol in one of these CBN or state programmes, learn a particular type of farming that can be done on the land they have. Learn for a full year first before using that money to set up (and probably collect more CHEAP loans to add to it as capital) |

It's annoying gaskiya. Since like Wednesday, any single time I call an MTN number from my Glo line, it will be telling me that they can't complete the call and I should go and contact my network. I've been quite miffed by this and it's just disheartening that we are being harassed like this. Did I owe them money? NCC should come and sort this out please |
6. HEALTH In his first term with Dr Olaokun Soyinka as his health commissioner, Governor Amosun made strides in the state health services, including the revitalisation of the primary health care system and health insurance schemes. #AmosunLegacy However, the second term was plagued with a lot of issues including fleeing and retiring staff (doctors and nurses) not being replaced, limited and no funding for purchase of equipments and reversal of all the gains of 1st term. 25% performance #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7weOC0WkAAWi4c.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7weOwPW4AUWqIR.jpg Adeola Olaoye @DeolaOlaoye Here is somewhere around Kugba in Abeokuta, Ogun State. people in search of portable water... 4:29 PM - Nov 3, 2017 https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DNt8uV7WkAA0seB.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DNt8uV7WAAEgOu6.jpg Young Ògògó @akintonmide Imagine saying an elected candidate who led for 8 years did the people a favour as though he used his personal funds to help people. Access to water is a big problem in Abeokuta. Power supply is terrible. Salaries get delayed Amosun went on unnecessary projects but yeah, favour 8:40 AM - Mar 10, 2019 As you can see, my people continue to suffer from lack of water and other related issues. How can people who lack access to potable water be healthy? Your guess is as good as mine. Road construction ended in some places but their pipes never returned #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D0zJM63W0AEvBgb.jpg 7 AGRICULTURE. The less said about Amosun’s administration's impact on Ogun State agricultural sector the better. Anyone who scores the government 20% is being generous. It was all "we will do" ziggy and "we have signed an agreement with..." sakamanje all the way #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D71I128XsAMpU5q.jpg It all never happened because the institutions that were working like OGADEP were defunded and Local governments where farmers get inputs like tractor-renting were completely emasculated by the administration. #AmosunLegacy Even tokenisms like the greenhouses set up between eleweran and Camp in Abẹ́òkúta died off after like 2 years probably because they were not allowed with existing framework and policy. They became Sakamanje #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D71I3vuXYAEate7.jpg Remember the MITROS Rice launch pyramid scandal? That's emblematic of the jerk-and-push agricultural policies Ogun State has had in the last 8 years. Roads, fences and silos sprang up overnight at Asero with imported rice allegedly rebagged to Mitros rice. Ziggy #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D71I5BiW4AA2cSo.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D71I57tW4AUCWsi.jpg 8. LABOUR AND IGR One of the biggest achievements of the Amosun administration is increase in internally generated revenue of Ogun State. One of Amosun’s worst issues was constant war of attrition with state workers responsible for the generation of said IGR #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D71YqjBXUAA6Uwm.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D71YsXQXUAIVDrK.jpg Governor Ibikunle Amosun utilized the state's proximity to Lagos, something that had been clamoured for in years, to shore up the state's revenue base. Though the exact seems to fluctuate, it is said to have gone up to 2nd highest in Nigeria. I rate him 85 % #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D71YteVXUAAH_mf.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D71YuKTX4AUi7FE.jpg However, the constant war of attrition between him and the state's Labour force greatly eroded deserved kudos. The cat-and-mouse game between the government and Labour lasted till the eve of the last General elections. The issues were multifaceted #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D71YvoxXoAAWdB-.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D71YwhfWwAAUAJn.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D71YxQpXUAAweWw.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D71YyDSWkAILLtZ.jpg From lack of payment of salary deductions, to non-remittance of deducted pensions payment to PFAs to non-payment of retirement emoluments, the Amosun administration, especially in second term hardly spent any 2-month period without butting head with labour unions #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D71Y0ZgWkAEr3Fh.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D71Y2WlXsAAu6lF.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D71Y7UkXkAAPihA.jpg These has left many civil servants extremely bitter and disillusioned. It is a testament to good upbringing that Ogun State civil servants have not been reported to go the way of some other states, in terms of holding governance to ransom and outright begging #AmosunLegacy Eventually, at the very twilight of his administration, Gov Amosun decided to pay some of the owed emoluments, some owed for up to four or more years. This is aside his refusal to replace retired civil servants in the service. I score him 25% #AmosunLegacy I’ll pay workers’ N20.2bn deductions, salaries before May 29 –Amosun https://punchng.com/ill-pay-workers-n20-2bn-deductions-salaries-before-may-29-amosun/ 9. SPORTS 20%. The Amosun administration did not really reckon with sports and thus did little to nothing, except the perfunctory, in the development of sporting activities. I cannot recall (I may be wrong) anything done at the level of the RIYE games #AmosunLegacy Even the promise of getting the state's football team, Gateway FC, from NNL to NPFL was never achieved because of dearth of funds. All stadiums across Ogun remain in a state of disrepair and disuse. Except for our athletes who are abroad. It was a bleak 8 years #AmosunLegacy 10. HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT The resumption of Amosun as Ogun Governor saw the beginning end of Ogun State Employment Generation Programme (OGEGEP) started by the previous administration. The programme had helped many citizens gain skills for self employment #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D71xvYRW4AYOjod.jpg OGEGEP became a shadow of itself and wasn't replaced with a programme of commensurate or better impact. Also, the N-Power idea of partially employing graduates as they look for work was first implemented in Ogun State but was stopped by Amosun. #AmosunLegacy Most government contracts (from catering to decoration to supplies) were made to firms from Lagos while local firms grappled with lack of capacity to expand operations and employ more people. Many local businesses and services gave up and moved to Lagos and Ìbàdàn #AmosunLegacy The South West Resource Centre, which was built by the previous administration, to position Ogun State at the forefront of the digital growth in Nigeria became useless as the administration refused to reckon with it #AmosunLegacy To the best of my knowledge, there was no deliberate policy nor unified effort by the Amosun administration to increase the capacity and capability of the people in value delivery to themselves. No adult literacy classes, no kill acquisition programmes. 5%. #AmosunLegacy CONCLUSION I have deliberately left out other sectors (like Tourism where he performed poorly or manufacturing where he was average), nor have I included his fight against Dangote and rumoured one against other businesses because of length of words #AmosunLegacy However, I hope with these breakdown of sectoral impact, we can see clearly that, despite the ziggys, media hype and sakamanje, Governor Ibikunle Amosun's administration in Ogun State should not score up to 50% in a pure merit based ranking #AmosunLegacy That he is spoken of in the top 5 performing governors of Nigeria of the class 2011-2019 era is a testament to the very low expectations of governments and governance in Nigeria has been reduced to /end #AmosunLegacy As @dabiodunMFR resumes office today, I pray that he looks at the good side of #AmosunLegacy and improve on it, while drastically changing direction in the bad aspects. There is much work to be done. Ọmọ Ògùn, Iṣẹ́ yá Governor Dàpọ̀ Abíọ́dún resumes office. I pray for inspired leadership. Our people desperately needs it. #AmosunLegacy Adake Ja @odulare Good read, you however omitted something very important. The first Sakamanje he implemented "Home Ownership". As I speak millions of people paid for the CofO that naver came. Source: https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1133664808195244032.html cc lalasticlala, Mynd44 |
[from a Twitter Thread] https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7uXNuHWkAEmqAa.jpg Governor Ibikunle Amosun is no longer the governor of Ògùn State. He's now just Ogun Central Senator-elect. For posterity sake, it would behove us to look at various aspect of his governance and sectors of the state under his rule 1. ROADS Any of the lovers of Governor Amosun (and his many sycophants) will point out that the governor has performed excellently well in improving the road network of the state, especially the state capital with at least 7 overhead bridges (some in construction) https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7uv8UkXkAUCZGU.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7uwEZjXkAEs7VE.jpg However, if you ask Ogun citizens, especially in the capital, they will tell you Amosun only constructed roads for visitors, not for residents. As he was developing the highways, he totally neglected inner city roads. Across Abẹ́òkúta, I find it hard to mention 3 inner roads the Amosun administration rehabilitated. The road expansion destroyed many historically relevant building like that of Alábùkún powder founder while many people have not gotten compensation for their demolished building as of now. There is also issue of cost, as many of the roads are rumoured to cost between N850m - N1.5bn per kilometre. These same roads have been patched several times, including at Ìyána Mortuary and Olorunsogo. With these misgivings, does Amosun admin still deserve an excellent score? And there's the case of misplaced priority. In Abẹ́òkúta, it is mild, where we have pedestrian bridge where it is not needed being built first like in Òkè Sokori and not Panseke and other parts of the state like Owode-Yewa-Ilaro road, Lafenwa - Rounda Road and Atan-Agbára Road. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7u-Z6HX4Ac_lbW.jpg So we have the Amosun administration doing bridges in places with little to no traffic for, some say up to ₦1.5bn per km, while places that need it more like Denro, Shashi, Alagbole, Akute, Owode-Yewa, Ajuwon, Igbesa etc were wantonly neglected by the governor. Please watch this documentary and you will understand more what I mean. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dR9S-aN4oH8 This is the reason why at best I can only score Amosun administration a maximum of 60% on roads maintenance and construction AkTiVe Citizen @biolaodetola Replying to @AjalaYemi So of the roads needed no exxpension while some of the fly overs are absolutely needless today and in the next 30years. Some have argued that the Governor only embarked in the projects that will earn him the higest amount of kickbacks. The only logically reason for politicians 2. Other infrastructures What significant improvement to potable water supply did Amosun administration make in 8 years of ruling Ogun State? None. Rather the administration has made the supply of potable water a matter of nostalgia across Ogun State. What did the administration do in terms of affordable housing for the populace? Bare minimum. The houses built in very small patches in places like Laderin and Olusegun Obasanjo Hilltop are largely empty simply because they are prized out of the affordability of citizens Ọmọ Ọ̀dọ̀ Àgbà @lakunle70 Replying to @AjalaYemi Both places were done with the elites in mind! Even the Muhammadu Buhari Estate how much is plot of land inside the place etc. Our Govt generally are elitist in their thinking You'd hear affordable but ask how much this is 30m! For someone who's pay is 30k monthly Here are the prices of some of the houses Amosun administration provided for people as a way of combating the at least 16 million housing unit shortfall facing Nigerians form the Ogun State Property Development Company (OPIC) website https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7vI7oBXoAQIHsA.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7vI9eFXYAUYb4_.jpg 3 EDUCATION I wish I have good things to say about Amosun's performance in education sector as it is a sector dear to my heart. The sad issue here is that despite the hard working teachers and lectures of Ogun State schools, Amosun has taken Ogun State back educationally Amosun and his education commissioner, Modupe Mujota single-handedly destroyed many legacies of Ogun State education. What is our ranking in WAEC examination passing again? Mujota refused to address the press on pressing issues for 4 years as commissioner Despite all indications for him not to do it, Amosun decided to build model secondary schools across the state at more than ₦1.5bn each. 6 years later only one of the schools is functioning, Albert perfunctorily. Money that could have transformed existing schools He refused to employ new teachers as the old ones employed by the Bisi Onabanjo administration reached the statutory retirement age. Thus we had many schools across Ogun State with short staffing challenges. This is the #AmosunLegacy He refused blatantly to adequately fund the state's tertiary institutions. The ones that eventually figured a way to fund themselves were actively curtailed by government when he saw how much they were generating. MAPOLY became self-sufficient and the governor had other plans Amosun decided that he needed another tertiary institution despite saying in several fora that the state cannot afford all the tertiary institutions it has (he famously closed down TASUED for this reason before he rescinded). He refused to listen to stakeholders #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7vRU9iW4AAI7IV.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7vRZoPWkAEkCAg.jpg As things stand now, the new school Amosun started (Ogun State Polytechnic, Ipokia) has not started, the MAPOLY cannot admit new students while the ones graduating are not being allowed to serve. Confusion break bone. Dead body get accident #AmosunLegacy This is separate from inchoate policies of his administration regarding secondary school education. He stopped paying WAEC fees of public schools & also centralised their examination. Children would wait up to one week after lectures for exam papers which never came #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7vRboQW4AAwhaT.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7vRcZIW4AULwo7.jpg Governor Amosun may have had the best intentions for Ogun education but either by omission, commission or lack of clear cut idea and vision, he had done the education a severe damage that only hardwork and money can start to fix. Reminds me of this message #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7vc8yGXYAEG4uB.jpg 4. SECURITY I will score Governor Amosun at least 70% in terms of security. We knew security situation when he took over the reins of the state and how the criminal elements were checkmated. His prompt hands-on approach in kidnapping issues is highly commendable #AmosunLegacy The only reason why I'm not scoring Governor Amosun higher is the level of cultism in the Ìjẹ̀bú axis of the state that seems to continually be on the rise. Also is his non-resolution of the VGN vs VSO impasse of vigilante bodies. Could have been better #AmosunLegacy 5. POLITICS This is the area where Ziggy and Sakamanje comes in. Governor Amosun loves the media and the media loves him. From blitz whenever he is walking kilometres ostensibly inspecting Road projects to midnight political rallies, Amosun loves the media #AmosunLegacy Looking at the political history of Governor Amosun, some political pundits have said he's skilled in playing the victim and whipping up public sympathy. This came to fore recently in his 2015 reelection and 2019 succession bids. #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7v_KOPXkAcSIv4.jpg After his failed bid to become governor in 2007 under ANPP coming 3rd, he was in political Siberia, moving with General Buhari to CPC in preparation for 2011 General elections. AC had metamorphosed to ACN but its 2007 guber candidate had been brutally killed #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7v_Ky-XoAEEgLm.jpg The newly metamorphosed ACN had settled for Ààrẹ Rẹ̀mí Bakare as its guber candidate as he's been a big party financier. However, due to some horsetrading and begging of ACN party leaders in Ogun by Senator Bola Tinubu, Amosun was given the party's ticket in 2011 #AmosunLegacy Maybe their thinking was that with the civil war in PDP (where the then incumbent governor's candidate was contesting in another party, PPN), if they combined forces, they would win. 2007 result seems to support this #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7v_PclXkAQMt05.jpg And they eventually won, with the ACN bringing the deputy governor, Prince Segun Adesegun. It didn't take long before "trailer passed between them". The deputy governor and the ACN members were relegated to the background and by 2014, there was open warfare #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7v_QyQXYAUUu-5.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7v_RlZXsAAJUFw.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7v_SxwXYAAJKBl.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7v_TvoWwAAmubE.jpg He appointed commissioners from his friends and family friends in Lagos and abroad (Hello Madam Kemi Adeosun) while neglecting the politicians who dared to work for his 2011 victory despite serious threats to their lives and livelihood. #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7v_VmPXkAYoedo.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7v_WrpXoAEldE9.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7v_YCvW4AIcfwn.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7v_YbgWsAssn8W.jpg All the while this was going on, Amosun had many media houses, in and outside Ogun State, on retainer. You all know how you hardly watch Channels News and not see Amosun's iconic cap and his smiling face underneath. It wasn't free. #AmosunLegacy With the media, it was easy to portray the fight with the Osoba camp, as the ACN was being injected into the new APC, as ravenous politicians who are after the state's till and don't want him to complete the road projects. He played the victim. #AmosunLegacy With measured "Ziggy" and "Sakamanje" (narratives that have elements of truths but are not necessarily totally true) he had the public sympathy, just like in 2011 when it was portrayed that he was next in on the hit man's list after Dípò Dínà #AmosunLegacy Osoba and his men left for SDP to contest the 2015 elections. They lost because the Ziggy and Sakamanje worked (also, the civil war in PDP continued unabated and the "Change" mantra). They went and licked their wounds. #AmosunLegacy Some say Governor Amosun has an hand in the seemingly eternal crises rocking the state PDP but I disagree as their is not enough evidence to raise a brow. He had however defeated his godfather in the state. What else to do but take on the bigger fish? Bola Tinubu #AmosunLegacy With the emergence of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015, Governor Amosun leveraged highly on their relationship developed from ANPP/CPC days to position himself as the new APC leader in South West Nigeria. He had unfettered access to the President and presidency #AmosunLegacy His first salvo was when his Commissioner for finance was named the Minister for finance, instead of Senator Tinubu's reported anointed candidate Wale Edun. This started the cold war with Bourdillon and Mandate Group. Amosun became arrowhead of CPC faction in APC that wanted Tinubu's influence cut down to size. From state to state, they had their fights and Amosun seemingly had the upper hand, with reported wins in Ondo (Akeredolu emergence) and Ekiti (Fayemi emergence). Osun became dicey with Serubawon's demise #AmosunLegacy Amosun had so much access to the President, he was reportedly called "Vice President South" amongst the Aso Rock staff. A new power was in town and everybody knew it. Until that fateful day when President Buhari said tenure extension for Oyegun was wrong #AmosunLegacy That was the signal for former Edo governor Adams Oshiomhole candidature for APC Chairmanship. The Oyegun tenure had been pliable to Amosun’s Ziggy but the new era was going to prove a tough morsel to swallow. First was Osoba camp coming back to APC #AmosunLegacy Next was the local government congress. This revealed to Governor Amosun that party members were very dissatisfied with him, especially those who lost out in 2015 when he handpicked APC candidates. They had galvanised behind an entrant from Lagos into Ogun politics #AmosunLegacy An old foe, Senator Olamilekan Adeola(YAYI) wanted to be Senator in Ogun State but was chased away in 2015. By 2017, he had penetrated the state APC structure, such that only state excos were still with the governor. The governor went on the attack. #AmosunLegacy Anyone who associated with YAYI became Amosun's enemy. The governor allegedly threatened he would have demolished Fela Kuti's home church for accepting a donation from YAYI. Labour leaders were sacked because of YAYI #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7wSPw6XkAEitG0.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7wSQkoXsAALie8.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7wSRgFXoAAKysi.jpg YAYI eventually went back to Lagos but his structure stayed. By 2018, his structure had gone beyond the APC and had notable PDP members openly declaring for YAYI as Ogun Governor. However, the governor's intimidation of YAYI had backfired but he did know #AmosunLegacy People had started seeing him as a petulential high-handed dictator. They saw his many fights with Osoba and Tinubu in new light of his brouhaha Labour and YAYI. Civil servants were owed deductions and leave bonuses yet he was starting new projects #AmosunLegacy He had lost his public goodwill that comes from playing victimhood. Thus when Oshiomhole refused to accept his handpicked candidates for APC in 2019 elections, he thought victimhood and closeness to Buhari would help his cause #AmosunLegacy https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7wSTSeXkAMAG5_.jpg The final destruction of Amosun’s victimhood play was the stoning of President Buhari in Abẹ́òkúta by his goons. My people are many things but not stupid. This made many people in various parties Amosun had slighted rally behind Dapo Abiodun #AmosunLegacy https://video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video/1095230050478276610/pu/vid/1280x720/9nA22-jXBmlbB1v7.mp4?tag=6 Thus Amosun created the political monster that consumed his ambition to become the new godfather. I've not delved into more details of alleged bribes to stations and media outlets to announce his candidate as authentic APC candidates multiple times. Another day #AmosunLegacy Amosun’s political legacy till date in Ogun State remains that he's united his erstwhile friends and enemies under one political umbrella that is threatening to consume him. Will it? A week is a long time in politics. #AmosunLegacy |
A woman in Lagos, Nigeria has accused her best friend of stealing her husband’s penis and using same to pleasure herself repeatedly. Rosemary Ejemba filed a complaint with the newly-created penile division of the country’s police force, stating that her friend, Juliet Briggs stole the penis when she visited to complain of her man’s lack of adequacy in intimate affairs. Rosemary also went on Twitter to call out her friend in a series of tweets laden with many allegations, including that she’s always passed compliments, which she now sees as always being in envious tone, on her husband. Superintendent of Police Muyiwa Ajao sighed many times while reading a public statement over the matter that has trended for hours on social media, pausing once in a while to examine the next sentence with a mild grimace. ‘This case is the first of its kind and we will treat it with seriousness and the diplomacy it deserves’ , he said. ‘We are aware of the further allegations against the accused using said organ over the weekend to pleasure herself without regards to the consequences for the man involved, thus leading to embarrassing situations for the man who is currently on a business trip to the United States’ . SUPOL Muyiwa’s discomfiture is not uncommon from policemen who have had to deal with the astonishing changes that have been wrought on the world since the instantaneous sexual transformation of February 15th. The world was jolted as the clocks on the International Date Line (west) struck 12 midnight on Valentine’s day to find the separation of men’s urinal and sexual organs, with the latter becoming detachable without any physical danger to the man and transmission of sexual feelings to a man whose sexual organ is being used for intimacy purposes no matter where he is. Police forces across the world has to deal with upheavals of political, economic and social nature (most notably in the Arabian Peninsula where it has led to a change in rulership in Iran and Saudi Arabia) while also contending with the change in their personal lives. According to data from GAGUP, complaints stemming from what is being termed as ‘#Switch’ to forces across the world has reached the 10 million mark and promises to continue rising with a steep growth curve. A source with Interpol said, ‘We are seeing a dire gap in reality and legislation across the world. We need new laws and enforcement units’ . Pressed for examples, she said, ‘A man was rescued from a mob in Northern Nigeria who wanted to lynch him for detaching his penis and giving himself a Mouth Gig. ‘We’ve also seen cases from around the world where a man is beaten up and his penis stolen but that has tapered out since it was discovered that pleasure from it will always go to the owner, thus there’s a rise in abandoned penis cases. ‘Many countries have also introduced so-called spousal laws which grants ownership right of the detachable penis to the wife or girlfriend, with many men having to be forced to hand it over. Of course many of such men are policemen themselves. ‘There was even a violent fight amongst professors at Stanford over the name to call the extra flesh that suddenly appeared just above the penis for urinating purposes. The minority who wanted to call it the penis and give the sexual organ a new name grew violent when they were called dicks. They are still arguing’ , she finished with a perceptible glint in her eyes. The curious development has yet to be explained by scientists who have remained puzzled and continue to study the phenomenon. ‘We can’t even use the astronauts in space as control as they were also affected’ , a visibly-exasperated Giorgio Seinfield, head of adhoc United Nations team spearheading the investigations said to the body on Monday. That is however not the concern of the vexed Rosemary, who insists that her friend be charged to court and jailed for stealing and misusing her property. ‘My husband was embarrassed while having a business meeting in America because my friend was using his thing all night. She was just using him anyhow she liked. ‘He was having orgasm while discussing business! Thunder must fire that woman who wants to break my home. My husband is threatening to divorce me now’, she tweeted on Tuesday. SUPOL Muyiwa, in an answer to a question from a journalist at the press briefing, said that this may be difficult to get to a judge since there is no law to back such claim to penile property by a woman as the Spousal Act bill has been repeatedly shut down at the Nigerian national assembly. ‘How do you want women to own me? How? I have four wives, which would I give my thing to? You want civil war in our houses? This bill will never pass in Nigeria’ , a popular allegedly-paedophilic senator who’s an ex-governor was quoted as saying in the closed session to discuss the bill’s latest amendment. Note: This story is pure fiction stemming from a conversation with my cousin, Bolu who came up with the initial premise. Any resemblance to anyone or event(s) is purely coincidental. https://medium.com/@AjalaYemi/woman-accuses-best-friend-of-stealing-husbands-penis-e54f6e8421ae

It is no longer news that the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) invaded the premises of telecoms company, MTN, across Nigeria from Monday July 9, 2018, ostensibly to picket the company but ended up carrying out acts of violence against the staff of the company and vandalizing equipment. The labour union went to protest the casualisation and poor welfare of its members by the telecoms giant but instead left in its wake, blood, destruction and what some described as carnage. Critical national infrastructure across the country were reportedly breached and attempts were made to compromise them like turning off the independent power plants at the Ojota switch station, Lagos. Infact, staff of MTN had to create a human shield around human resources executive, Esther Akinnukawe, for her to escape the head office of MTN as NLC members were trying to beat her up. Many members of staff were allegedly harassed and forced to sing along with NLC members who were recorded in various violent acts of vandalism. Of course many right-thinking individuals have called out NLC’s act, including UK-based accountant and social commentator, Feyi Fawehinmi and veteran radio presenter, Jimi Disu with some calling the act by the NLC a fund-raising exercise. How did the Nigerian Labour Congress descend so low to the point of being regarded as a collection of touts by Nigerians, a clear departure from the intellectual rigorousness and sagacity the Nigerian labour movement is well known for in the times past? What can the labour union do to conform to the International Labour Organisation (ILO) standard and rescue its battered brand? 1. NLC should ask itself why have Nigerians who previously jumped when NLC sneezed become apathetic to its cause? Why are people showing outrage at the violence meted out against MTN by NLC on various social media platforms? Why did their people have to resort to violence? Is MTN really guilty of casualisation, or it is the companies that they outsourced to that are guilty of such? Is there a better/more effective way of engagement that won’t generate so much bad blood? After these questions are asked, then they should go on to the next step. 2. Come up a strategy: Offense, defense or placatory. I would advice placatory in this case and a mixture of the two other options going forward. Imagine what a picture of NLC President and the CEO of MTN shaking hands at the MTN headquarters can do to show Nigerians that NLC is not anti-business but there was only miscommunication which they are addressing internally. 3. Open social media accounts that are RESPONSIVE and ENGAGING, in order to showcase the constructive works that the organisation is doing. I have not found any account on the social media platforms I use (Nairaland, Facebook, Twitter) that claims to be owned by NLC. Even if they have, how responsive and engaging are they? Let the PRO or President handle it directly so people can get direct access to decision-making structure of the congress. http://revue.com.ng/what-nlc-should-do-after-criminal-violence-against-mtn/

Fast-rising Nigerian author and screenwriter, Tomi Adesina has accused streaming platform, iROKOtv of turning her blog series, “Beautiful Stranger”, which she eventually published as a free E-Book in 2015, into a movie “Swings” on its platform. The writer, who recently earned an AMVCA nomination for writing “Hakkunde,” called iROKOtv out on Twitter via her handle @tomi_adesina, claiming that the company refused to bring down the movie after her lawyers wrote to them, saying they did not produce the movie. Adesina however insists that their claim isn’t true as “Swings” opens using iROKOtv montage, a practice that only happen if they either produced, co-produced or sponsored the movie. On iROKOtv site, the movie is described as a true life story and the screenplay credited to Babatunde Adewale. Check out her statement: The month of June started off as depressing due to certain things revolving around my writing career but I thank God that July is starting on a bright note as I got an AMVCA nomination for #Hakkunde. #IrokoTVIPInfringement June was terrible because of the actions of @irokotv – which I’m about to spill after careful considerations. #IrokoTVIPInfringement This is a thread on how the “Netflix of Africa” a.k.a Iroko TV (@irokotv) unlawfully & irresponsibly infringed on my copyright, made money from my work & sweat (of course w/o my knowledge, consent or permission) & are bullishly continuing to do so. #IrokoTVIPInfringement People who follow me already know I am a writer/blogger. This is what puts food on my table & a roof over my head. This is what pays all my bills and keeps me alive. I have no other job or means of livelihood. #IrokoTVIPInfringement So, sometime in 2014 (5th June – 4th September), I consistently published a fiction series titled “Beautiful Stranger” on my blog, here: Beautiful StrangerBeautiful Stranger is a fiction series about meeting that one person who opens our eyes to see the radiance and beauty of life. You sure do not wanna miss out on it. Click the links below ©2014 by …https://tomiadesina./beautiful-stranger-2/ . #IrokoTVIPInfringement For 12 weeks (about 84 days & nights), I painstakingly wrote 14 episodes of this story for my followers for free. I bled at my table, just to birth the “Beautiful Stranger” series. #IrokoTVIPInfringement In 2015, due to popular demand from my readers, I published the story as an Ebook at dl.orangedox.com/z6KFmVmsGQ6qXw… and gave it out for free. My aforementioned blog series and E-book are easily accessible by the public. #IrokoTVIPInfringement Fast forward to sometime in June this year, I received messages from friends & readers of my blog. They were congratulating me on collaborating with @irokotv & turning my story “Beautiful Stranger” into a movie called “Swings”. #IrokoTVIPInfringement They said they watched the movie on @irokotv YouTube page. I was shocked because I knew I never made “Beautiful Stranger” into a movie & I definitely did not do it with @irokotv. #IrokoTVIPInfringement I checked Iroko’s YouTube page here:& saw the 30 mins+ video. In the description box, Iroko directed its 900k+ subscribers to watch the complete movie on its app for $20. #IrokoTVIPInfringement https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVRqyuEdL4E I had to download @irokoTv app & pay the required fee to watch the complete movie. When I was done, I had no doubt that, it was my 2014 blog series that was adapted into a movie & monetized, w/o my consent. #IrokoTVIPInfringement How did I know it was my blog series that was adapted into a movie? 1st, all the names of major characters in “Beautiful Stranger” are the same as in “Swings”. 2nd, the settings in “Beautiful Stranger” are the same in “Swings”. #IrokoTVIPInfringement 3rd, the plot/storyline in “Beautiful Stranger” is the same as in “Swings” (from beginning to end). 4th, EVEN THE DIALOGUES IN “BEAUTIFUL STRANGER” ARE USED ALMOST WORD FOR WORD IN “Swings”. #IrokoTVIPInfringement It was like a bunch of actors came together, acted my blog series & then, gave it a different title. They didn't even change the names of the major characters or tweak the storyline. #IrokoTVIPInfringement I was shocked to my bones ‘cos I couldn't believe a brand like @irokotv was profiting from my intellectual property w/o my consent. I then instructed my lawyers to write them to, amongst others, immediately take down the illegal movie from their platforms. #IrokoTVIPInfringement The least I expected @irokotv to do was comply with this simple request. Surprisingly, rather than take down the movie, @irokotv wrote back with a flimsy excuse, only saying they didn't produce the movie themselves. #IrokoTVIPInfringement I write for the movie industry, so I know @irokotv ‘s claim isn’t true as “Swings” opened with their montage. Movie production companies only put their montage if they either produced, co-produced or sponsored/partnered with the movie one way or another. #IrokoTVIPInfringement There are many movies on @irokotv ‘s different platforms that do not start with their opening montage because IrokoTV did not produce, co-produce or sponsor/partner with the said movies, unlike “Swings”. #IrokoTVIPInfringement Apart from (co) producing the movie, I know that the distribution, publication and/or commercialization of the illegal movie is in itself, an infringement of my copyright. #IrokoTVIPInfringement .@IrokoTv could have simply taken down the movie if they had no hand in it, but they chose not to. As I tweet, the movie is still on their app, generating money for them. Iroko are still boldly reaping from my sweat! #IrokoTVIPInfringement #IrokoTVIPInfringement In @irokotv ‘s letter, they did not deny that: Of all the stories I have ever written, “Beautiful Stranger” is one that is most dear to me, anyone who knows me can attest that I take cancer themes really seriously. #IrokoTVIPInfringement I suffered physically & emotionally to write that story for 84 days & nights, so it hurts me so much to see a big international brand like @irokotv reaping from where it did not sow. And doing so very boldly. #IrokoTVIPInfringement The dream of every writer is to adapt their story into a movie one day & show it to the world. It's like seeing your story come to life before your eyes. I am no different, but @irokotv has killed this dream as it pertains to “Beautiful Stranger” #IrokoTVIPInfringement Later, Mr. @JasonNjoku will grant interviews to media houses & investors & construct lengthy medium posts on the magnificent, wondrous things @irokotv is doing. I'm sure he'll conveniently not list copyright infringement as one of those things. #IrokoTVIPInfringement I have instructed my lawyers to initiate civil & criminal proceedings against @irokotv& its directors, pursuant to the Copyright Act, 2004. The courts are the last hope of the common man & I have decided to take my chance at justice. #IrokoTVIPInfringement I hope this serves as a deterrent to other big players in the industry who feel they can trample on the common man & get away with it. I will not be silenced. So help me God. #IrokoTVIPInfringement http://revue.com.ng/screenwriter-accuses-irokotv-of-swingscopyright-infringement/

Around 6:30 am on May 12 at Apata, Ibadan, a man cradled a small girl between him and the Okada man, as the commercial motorbike sped towards Omi Adio, albeit in a haste to beat the 8am curfew that had been imposed on Oyo state due to the local government election coming up later that day. The only giveaway that he had won N2m about 2 hours earlier at the 2018 edition of the Goldberg-sponsored Ariya Repete music competition in the Fuji category was the Goldberg mosaic on the front of his T-shirt and “Martins” on the back. The event brought to an end a process that started some 2 months earlier in Abeokuta, with the 2018 Ariya Repete Roundtable, a yearly intellectual discourse that focuses solely on Yoruba music, setting the tone for the talent hunt, which is now in its third edition, in Fuji, Juju music and drum categories. Held on March 6, at the Park-Inn by Radisson, Abeokuta, this year’s roundtable, themed “Evolution of Yoruba Traditional music and the influence on modern Nigerian pop culture”, created a platform for stakeholders to dissect the Yoruba music and how it has impacted and continues to impact on the modern pop culture of Nigerians. The keynote speaker at this year’s conference in Abeokuta was Dr. Kola Adesina, Head, Department of Mass Communication of the Crescent University, Abeokuta, while an eminent group of panelists including Sir Shina Peter, Mr. Lekan Babalola, Mr. Muyiwa Osinaike, Prof. Olawole Fadipe, Wasiu Ayinde – K1 De Ultimate, Taye Currency, Jawon, Clement Ige, Wole Sorunke (MC Murphy), and Hakeem Adenekan, complemented the team. Later on in the month, Ariya Repete Traditional Music and Drums Talent Hunt proper started with selection process held in eight cities - Sango Ota, Ado Ekiti, Akure, Lagos, Ilesha, Ilorin, Ibadan and Oyo - where several contestants came to slug it out for a place in the quarterfinals of the competition. In the end, 52 winners emerged out of about 5000 initial contestants. The artistes and groups had in the first and second round of auditions impressed the judges with exhibition of talents and craftsmanship. The judges were then able to make the final selection of artistes, who qualified for the quarterfinal. The successful contestants then entered the Ariya Repete Academy where they went through mentorship and grooming from experienced musicians and managers. At the Ariya Academy in Ibadan, they were trained on Yoruba music instruments, Fuji and Juju music by some prominent Juju and Fuji musicians to help hone their musical skills. The winners then proceeded to the quarterfinals held at Midas Arena, Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital where they slugged it out for spots. In the end, 32 contestants progressed to the semi final stage held on May 4. The sand pitch of the National Stadium in Surulere went agog, as ace actor, Odunlade Adekola announced the 16 finalists selected by the judges after a rigorous screening process which lasted till the early hours of Saturday, May 5th, 2018. The ancient city of Ibadan came alive on the night Friday, May 11, for the grand finale held at Trans Amusement Park with six contestants in Fuji category namely Ayomide Ode Omotola, Saheed Akangbe, Abiodun Saheed Oloto, Sulaimon Ajibola Destiny, Mohammed Adewale and Asafa Olushola. Another four, Wale Crown, Bukola Ahmed, Ayodele Olatunji (a.k.a Femi Bright) and Ayegbayo Oluwaseun qualified from the Juju music category. They were joined in the final by the drum groups; Ifesowapo Cultural Group, Sakuba Cultural Group, Oludare Cultural Group, Igba Iwase African Entertainment Cultural Group and Eniafede Dance Group. It was a blend of fun and serious business as all the finalists treated the audience twice to rich renditions of their severally rehearsed and composed songs. Their voices rented the night and the venue resonated with the thumping of their drums and dance steps as the whole of Ibadan stood still for the performances of all the 16 budding contestants. Before the winners were announced, Martins, in an interview, had expressed confidence about winning the competition, stating that his trust was in God and he hoped to win. He added that if indeed he wins, he will then be able to build a career from there. “Tonight, I put my trust in God and I know He will do it,” he had said. “I am going to win. From here on tonight, I know I am going to become Goldberg’s Ambassador by God’s grace. And when that happens, I will establish my musical career with the prize money of N2 million. I will be eternally grateful to Nigeria Breweries if that happens.” All sixteen finalists delivered very impressive performances making the selection of the eventual winners even tougher for the Judges. However in the end, three contestants, who stood out (Ashafa Olushola Martins, Ayodele Olatunji, and Oludare Cultural Group in their performances), were crowned winners. Ashafa Olushola Martins got N2 million prize for emerging tops in the Fuji category, while Ayodele Olatunji a.k.a. Femi Bright also went home with N2 million cash prize after winning the Juju category. “After seeing the performance of others, I knew I just had to trust in God to win. They were superb. I’m overwhelmed winning the N2m, ” said Femi Bright, after prize presentation, a look of grateful excitement in his eyes. Oludare Cultural Group, led by pregnant Osogbo-based Olubunmi Sadiq, came first in the drumming category and won N1 million cash prize, while consolation prizes ranging from N1m to N250,000.00 were given to First and second runner ups in all the three categories. Most of the winners said they will plough the money back into their trade, which is singing and drumming by getting more instruments to better their singing careers. The second runner-up in the Juju category, Wale Crown, from Ijebu Ode, Ogun State noted that what he hopes to do with the money is confidential, but he will not fail to commend Nigeria Breweries for coming up with such a wonderful competition that has come to give so many young up and coming musicians hope for the future. “I am grateful to God for making me a winner that is going home with N1 million today,” he said. “And to Goldberg, I really duff my hat for you. This is because Nigeria Breweries is the only company I have ever seen in all my life that wants to elevate young up and coming musicians. They are so unique. As we know, there are so many talented musicians out there but nobody is really ready to help them. I appreciate Goldberg for organizing this Ariya Repete show.” http://thepunditng.com/how-ariya-repete-2018-changed-lives-of-upcoming-musicians-drummers/

On Monday 21st May 2018, a full delegation of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) officials led by their Head of Chemical Technology Group, Mr Agboola Afolayan and the Anambra State coordinator, Engr Nwaoma Olujie paid a visit to the factory of SeaHorse Lubrication Industries in Anambra. The event, which was witnessed by experts and journalists from reputable media organizations, included a tour of the facilities of the state of the art production facility in Ozubulu. Members of the SON delegation were shown the different stages of production to allow them see the production and standards set by the company for the production of various types of lubricants. It also provided a chance for SON to conduct their regular scheduled visits and checks of the facility to ensure it maintained production standards. All the visitors were appreciative of the production facilities, expertise and ability, as well as the safety steps taken by the company into making sure that their products were produced according to the best standards and also under the required safety standards for staff to avoid industrial accidents, a testament to the enterprising spirit of Nigerian businesses. A sample of the lubricant was taken at random from those about to be released into the market and taken to their in-house laboratory for testing. At their modern lab which compete with any laboratory in the world, a viscosity test was conducted in front of journalists by their Quality Control Manager, Amaobi Emenike and the results indicated a viscosity index of 121, which is above the SON standard of 120. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgHvL3OaKDY The MANCAP logo and log of past tests and SON visits were also shown to members of the press Group Head Chemical Technology Group, Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON), Mr. Agboola Afolayan while announcing the results of the tests, endorsed SeaHorse lubricants, and also acknowledged it as one of the best in the country. Reacting on behalf of the consumers, Chief Eugene Nzom Ojukwu MON, CEO E. Ekeson Group of Companies Nig Ltd, also testified to the high quality of SEAHORSE lubricants, stating that this is the reason his company has stuck with SEAHORSE since they discovered the product. In his comment, the Chairman CEO SEAHORSE Lubricants Industries Limited, Dr. Ebuka Onunkwo stated that the SEAHORSE production plant was birthed by his desire to create job for the teeming unemployed populace and also his drive to key into the industrialization agenda of the government. In the same vein he highlighted the plans by SEAHORSE Lubricant Industries to maintain its high standards, which includes expansion of the 5 million metric tonnes capacity plant, and increasing the over 1,500 direct and indirect workforce of SeaHorse Lubricant Industries Limited. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkMQk05reK0 http://thepunditng.com/seahorse-lubricants-certified-and-safe-for-use-in-nigeria-son/

It was a night many have dreamt and longed for, but only few get to experience first-hand. On one hand was the anxious anticipation of contestants knowing that this one night can make or mar their journey to stardom, on the other is the enjoyment of good quality music in a safe space as you gaze on cars streaming by on a Friday night in a city that never sleeps as Odunlade Adekola, Africa’s no 1 meme king, connect points of the show, engaging the crowd with gifts and energetic displays of a masterful compere. Anyone who has ever attended a concert in Nigeria knows that the two biggest headaches are security and quality of performance and sound. At the Golberg’s Ariya Repete 2018 semifinal concert held at National Stadium, Surulere on May 4th, one experienced a standard in music concert organization which, if copied and replicated, should become a template for a successful concert. There was good police presence right from the gate of the stadium and bouncers who handled tagging and other security details where all courteous yet firm. Even those who were in the “popular” side were safe enough to do throw some shaku shaku dance steps that definitely have PhDs from Harvard with reckless abandon. Oh the music. Everyone who came had at least two moments where their home training departed their body, as they gyrated to the renditions of both contestants and guest artistes. Adekunle Gold caused a sensation when he came to the venue with many in the “popular” section wanting to take selfies with him. By the time he finished serenading with his hits like “Orente” and “Money”, the crowd were chanting for more. Bonsue Fuji king, Dr Adewale Ayuba and his backup singers’ synchronized dance-steps added extra salt to his educative and entertaining performance and many of us were sad when he was forced to stop. Afro Juju maestro, Sir Shina Peters showed us showmanship that testifies to all he has learnt in the trade since he was 13, first whipping up nostalgia with his 1990s hit songs, them engaging the audience in various antics with his back up dancers. By the time Saheed Osupa was performing, the bones that should be tired of dancing were given a surge of energy by his skillful lyricism and gyrating beat, with many in the audience singing along. All these performances were in between performances by the winner of last year Ariya Repete Music Competition (who got a standing ovation) and the 32 semifinalists of the 2018 edition. The 12 drum contestants spiced up their presentation with various eye-catching actions, including a female drummer who was using her head to beat the drums, though there were technical hitches with the microphones not being able to pick some drums’ unique sound. The quality of songs of the 20 musician semi-finalists was so good about half of them got standing ovations. The way each and every one of them performed with the same band showed the amount of practice and effort that went into making their performances seem effortless. They allayed fears of many Fuji and juju music enthusiasts who had felt that the twin genres of Fuji and Juju music were dying, as many contestant made the job of the judges difficult. In the end, 16 contestants qualified for the grand finale scheduled for the Trans Amusement Park, Ibadan, Oyo State, on Friday May 11 and that promises to be a more thrilling experience. I do not expect many to be able to seat for long, especially with the array of artistes lined up for appearance, including the living legend, King Sunny Ade and classical fuji maestro, K1 de Ultimate. Anyone who misses it will surely regret it. P.S. Did I mention the way Goldberg flowed like river for all and sundry that attended? It was a sight to behold seeing hard-looking men one will instinctively take as hoodlums and young urban professionals enjoy a camaraderie of Goldberg in a safe secure environment. I look forward to see more of that. http://revue.com.ng/goldberg-celebrates-nigerian-music-with-near-perfect-ariya-repete-semifinal-concert/

BY ‘SEGUN ODEJIMI When you successfully execute an entertainment piece that also doubles as some form of education and the end product doesn’t come off as preachy, you don’t know the amazing stunt you have pulled off. MTV Shuga is built on the pillar of sex education and this season is no different. Even though it slightly leans towards the topic of reproductive health, the core stays same. Target young people and tell them to make their sexual choices with little bit more conscious meditation. Everything else is secondary. But as you do this though, you need to strike a balance. The young people you want to say these things to must be entertained enough to stay with you and they must also be educated enough to stand up from seeing your content with something extra in their heads and on their minds. MTV Shuga does this with minimal flaw. From the first three episodes I saw (from ten in total this season), I could count at least a dozen cogent messages. But each morsel was brilliantly rolled in draw soup and quickly inserted in our mouths while we opened them in awe at the beautiful pictures we saw on screen. At the beginning though, the story’s movement as told with the picture was jarring. Following the camera and mini-scenes around almost got me dizzy. But it didn’t take long for it to settle down into a brilliant visual piece. And when it did, it was such a cool ride. The most impressive part of the show for me was the acting brilliance of the “newbies”. Helena Nelson impressed me most with how she interpreted her role as Diana. As the character dictated, she owned the screen whenever she appeared on it regardless of whether she was in a pair or a group. A sassy, extremely forward, dull-when-it-comes-to-matters-of-the-classroom teenager was brought to life by Helena. But Helena wasn’t the only one who put up a commendable delivery. Uzoamaka Aniunoh (Cynthia) who Georgia Arnold (the executive director of MTV Staying Alive Foundation) had a few similar kind words for at the premiere, Adebukola Oladipupo (Faa) Amal Umar (Hadiza) as well as veteran Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi were very good at what they did. Nobody was bad at what they did in this production which is a big statement by everyone involved in this production. As long as Helena Nelson does not submit herself to mediocre directors and scripts that litter Nollywood and keeps working to improve her talent, we have a monster actor on our hands. https://tns.ng/review-plenty-lessons-unearthed-gems-why-mtvshuga-season-6-is-the-best-nigerian-content-ive-seen-this-year/
