politics:a very dangerous game that turns a man into muster for the sake of victory. If only the truth will be told or allowed to be displayed like movie, Mr Governor Rochas Okorocha would be ashamed of himself, his conduct and the desperation. If only I was not part of the election, i would have gladly clap for the governor. but the truth is that if the re-run elections are conducted 100 times on free and fair level without arresting of the electoral officials and subsequent intimidation and inducement, PDP will WIN on a very long margin.And the Governors is aware of this!!! It makes my mind ache at the level we have been savagely short-changed by our leaders. Those who are in politics will say the end justifies the means as long as the win, but the victory of Evil over good is short lived.The light will certainly prevail over the darkness, We have lost every thing in this country as it stands today, from the military,police and Civil defense who offered "security", to INEC officials and the collection and returning officers.How i wish we had just a man among these aforementioned personnel with conscience and balls mr Governor would be remorseful if he too has conscience. we are simply living in a very rotten society. A tree that bent with the wind will most likely survive the storm. |

This is both cosmetic and window dressing, whether Mr president breaks the fast with christian clerics or dare devils cant stop him from going to hell fire if he comes short of commandments of God or Allah. Mr. president should focus on delivering the Good governance which he was voted for or stop filling the air with frivolities. At this challenging time of our country, it is least important if Mr president and his family ate or not because lots of Nigerians are fasting not by choice, but by imposition as a concomitant effect of Mr president's bad economic policy and administrative Hocus-Pocus. |

Ours is an illiterate president. Mind you, literacy goes beyond ability to read and write. Whereas one doesn't know how to follow a process or staunchly disapproves a constitutional process without the neccessary ammendment should be seen as an illiterate and our president Buhari is one. He should then scrap judiciary and abolish court system for us to know that he wants to carry out fight against corruption. Its either your are less educated on the strength of will and collective resolve or you are delusional of the reality of their protest. Notting is impossible in this circleof wickedness called Nigeria. How can the guilty be so audacious? The greatest part of Nigerian's violence reaction are cause and created by these set of misguided individual called fulani herdsmen. They kill with the most sophisticated guns and rob and rape women in the East and South with impunity. Are these things not anough for a same country with law and security to punish them? leadership is a craft,and every visionary leader can device a means of actualizing his goals. In Rochas Anayochukwu Okorocha (owele), i have seen a leader with aura of charisma and inherent determination to leave his footprints on the sands of time. Am not praising him because I leave in Imo, but i do, cause he has given us a glib of hope, and inspiration through world-class leadership-style. Look, i don't want you to believe what am saying, but please find time to visit,inquire and do your spot checks on him. I was at the venue of his declaration on this at the HEROES SQUARE by Concorde Hotels, which he also,constructed within this short spell with over 6,000 capacity and aesthetic posture. We fought for a day like this with our time and energy during the election, and these achievements justifies the good fight. My Governor is determined,courageous, resilient,and focused.we are simply fortunate and blessed to have him as our leader. May God bless him, his family and generation. |

Apt nonsense, what qaulifications does IBB possess? Does he have character? Does he possess any sense of value judgement? What informed his opinion that younger generations are incapable of ruling this country? The Obama he referenced is a product of organised and systemic class of society.Why did he oust Buhari who managed to instil sanity & discipline in our society. However, you have conceded to his atheist belief by admiring his superior arguement vis-à-vis religion without a ground in defence of your faith - that points to the fact that you dont even know what you believe in! There is this point we always miss in Iwu's case: firstly he is a single individual and does not possess the omini potent power. Secondly the political system is structurally bad. Thirdly we have a political party (PDP)with the philosophy of "the end justifies the means" and politicians that lack any sense of intergrity and modesty. I used to see him from the lens of Devil advocate until i witnessed how PDP used the touts in the village to disenfranchised the voters amidst protests from both the officials and other party angents. We all have a role to play as regards free and fair elections in this country. Iwu is a person and can only rely on the reports of field INEC officials. We can only stop curruption by personally resolving to do what is right and collectively stoping others from doing what is wrong. I am not Iwu's fan either But if our political behaviour, culture and mindset to public offices(elective) is 'reformed', there is little an 'angel' can do to give us a glib of hope.  |
