Protein0: I'll advise you to open a dispute. Return item with full refund or keep item with partial refund. That should be your biz with the seller. You've been able to establish a defect in the item. Prove it to Aliexpress to win the dispute. Don't be tempted to change the battery before dispute. Exactly. |

omoadeleye: Well am not trying to be oversabi, i have used some tecno and infinix phones in which i always on and completely drain the battery before charging, since it as always be the norms of every new phone users to Always charge their phone first before using them make me to be cautious of all these international phones that doesn't have a carlcare stand in Nigeria, cause i don't want any scenario whereby i will be having some kind of battery problem with them and people will be like, why didn't you charged the phone before using or i should be giving myself unnecessary headache complaining to the seller about my new phone issues, so i don't have that enough mojo to be stressing all these kind of phones.
Cc: eleojo23 smartty68 What you have been doing has no effect on a battery, this is a chemical process, even the battery was not manufactured by the phone maker and phone was tested in factory before dispatch. There are also factory defects for batteries, because they are mass produced, so if you like, take 100% caution, once you lay your hands on a defective battery, there is nothing you can do about it. |

Yeah I did and Smartgo told me that is battery problem, the battery was flat even when I received the item from post office.
Well once I get the replacement battery, I'll send this very one to anyone here who cares to test it out. Nor fear, just want you to reason in all directions . |

smartty68: Yeah I'm very convinced. Never kept record of SOT because I'm already pissed with the battery performance.
10% draining in less then 2mins on standby isn't cool, I even had to format the phone yet symptoms still persist.
Worst is once I put on the phone, battery immediately starts draining in seconds True, but what if it's something else? Will prefer you talk with Smartgo about replacement and keep the extra battery you just ordered. It's better to be patient this time around. |

saddik: Tnx 4 do input. But do u think d xiaomi note 4 is well better than d Gionee M6?
I heard snap dragon chips is well know for over heating. It is better than the Gionee M6 not way better actually, am not even talking about the huge price difference. As for what you heard about snapdragon chips, it's actually the other way round. It is actually mtk chips that are plagued with overheating, though they have improved drastically in some of their chips but no where near the snapdragons. The only snapdragon chips notorious for overheating are the 805, 808, and especially the 810. To be be honest with you, the snapdragon 625 is about the coolest( least prone to heating) chip for now. |
Phones › Re: Gionee M6 Or Infinix Note 4 Pro by Gptech(m): 3:37pm On Aug 30, 2017 |
saddik: Great minds and feedback here. I appreciate all ur input.
As per the software issue, I'm not to concerned with that. However, the user interface software is my concern.
Lastly, I hope the battery specified for the M6 will be as advertised, meaning long battery life and not over heating the board?
For the price of 100k and all the great specs, I keep wondering in comparison to Samsung in the same price range I.e.J7 which do u think is worth it. Considering that I usually use a phone for about 2 years. Both phones should last you depending on how you handle them unless there is factory ish somewhere. Gionee has a better track record than Infinix in terms of ruggedness, but as for the price of the Gionee and what you need, plus better performance, bigger and better battery, better camera, and a smooth experience without overheating, go for the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. If you don't like the size then Xiaomi Redmi note 4, Lenovo P2 or LEeco cool 1. All of these have more available parts incase of an accident. |

Toun2nl: pls what is the difference between fastboot and recovery boot? Whr I go start from now? They serve different purposes but achieve the same thing. Recovery is for flashing only with your phone through the updater app either by OTA or by downloading manually. Fastboot require the use of a pc suite called Mi flash tool, just like sp flash tool, it's the only way to flash from Chinese to global rom or vice versa, or for unbricking a phone. |

Sprintx24: Now I see why there is so much recommendations concerning the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X... Phone is truly a beast. Just 2 days of handling this phone, I have identified so much advantages over the Redmi Note 4 mtk. The performance is just so fluent, responsiveness, flexibility, camera, and ultimately the monster of a battery. The Battery of the Note 4x endures at least twice as much as that of the Redmi Note 4 mtk. Truly, the battery no the gree die . The Redmi Note 4 mtk is my last MTK device ever.... I can never use an mtk device ever again unless, maybe a better version is developed. I am truly enjoying this device and long may it continue....
Thanks again Protein.. However, please the Board of Bosses (BOB) here should please help me with ways on how to fix my bad Redmi Note 4 mtk please!
Attached below is the image of my first SOT with the Redmi Note 4X on heavy usage. The maximum I ever had with the Redmi Note 4 mtk was 5hrs 23mins. Enjoy jare, nor let Lexusgs430 and spartacus11 catch u for wetin u talk about mtk , if you are willing to transport your injured phone, chat me up. |

Joseid: OP, I tried commenting on your site but it's not responding. I've been advised to buy infinix because of carlcare but I believe I can get something better than hot 4 pro or tecno products within the 50k budget range. Basically what I need is long battery life, less chances of problems during use and ease of repair. Which do you think best meets these criteria? Anyone with a vast knowledge of devices can also help. Xiaomi Redmi 4X or add a little and get the even better Redmi note 4x. |

Action games like beowulf, splinter cell, prince of Persia etc. Days of access point creation and editing with class editor, blue ftp to create, and modify themes, to also hide files, it also serves as our xender back then. To browse free then, all you have to do is use 10.199.212.2 as ip and you're good to go. jboixxx: Grandmufti and gptech, please which 8.5 and miui 9 ROM should I go for, Fastboot or Recovery? On global stable ATM. . If you are using fastboot, you will have to wipe your device, so a backup is compulsory. Fastboot is a larger file to download, and requires Mi Flash tool with Pc. Recovery on the other hand is smaller in size and doesn't require the use of Pc, just the updater app. |

Sprintx24: Hi guys, good to be back. I have sadly but thankfully gotten another brandnew xiaomi device (Redmi Note 4x SD) from my good friend Protein. I am still looking for ways to fixing my Redmi note 4 mtk that recently packed up without any form of warning, any useful information will be greatly appreciated. In the meantime, please I need a recommendation of a good memory SD card from aliexpress, possibly a direct purchase link on aliexpress. At least a class 10 or higher grade 64 - 128gig. Please recommendations should be based on personal experience.
Thanks very much Protein for the speedy deal, you have been an amazing business partner. Guys, if you still need to obtain any piece, I recommend Protein as he still has products that can actually be delivered in a day or two anywhere in Nigeria even sambisa forest at a cool rate with abundance of accessories.
Special thanks to Gptech, Grandmufti, Medallion and every other wonderful person on here who have offered assistance in one way or the other, you guys are extremely amazing. I look forward to more help. Thanks again! The phone is not dead, congrats on the new phone. |
