Hello People, I wish to buy a Xiaomi mi5 but I'm concerned about availability of accessories:
- Screen protector
- Phone case
- extra USB cable (I read that the Xiaomi mi5 USB cable is not the mini-USB that other phones use)
- In case the phone has a fault, e.g. broken screen, how easy is it to get parts for repairs?

Everything is available here, we all buy from AliExpress and other Chinese stores, all parts are available, down to even speaker, mic, fingerprint sensor, etc. We have perform far far better than Carlcare here, so don't be scared, you can buy the phone and also any needed accessory anytime you want.

Please is this global ROM, the battery is trickle charging and is stock at 10% presently.. Gptech and co make Una epp abeg.. I was advised to flash global ROM to see if this slow charging can be resolved..

I don retire for games ooo, I only get Alsphalt Extreme for testing, which I hardly play. I say make I manage dey play Candy crush , but then village ppl send their men come collect my phone, after I manage play reach stage 1200+, na there I kuku totally hang my boot on games ooo.

Na only Xioami I fit recommend for person oooo, who like big screen should pat the price and enjoy, buy redmi 4A instead of that Leagoo, person I buy the Leagoo M8 for dey hate the phone everyday, just too pale for where any Xiaomi dey, even Redmi 2 looks very premium when brought close to it.

That's the point, third party apps end up showing your device, I was once like you regarding the menu ish, but now I will never use any app drawer, its useless actually to me. This is one area Apple got rightly a long time ago. I also heard you talking of screen recorder, it's already in miui, just that it's not in the global rom yet, they will push it in the next major update. I used it myself in my stolen Redmi note 2, and can tell you it's really wonderful, no need for third party screen recorder.

Mi Max 2 will very be the all time battery champ for a time, but currently, if battery is major to you, the Redmi note 4/4x is what you need. For your budget, just go for what noobody said or get the Mi max 2, it's not as big as you think.

Bro how about factory reset? Cos for other Android phones even with lock, just factory reset or flashing of rom wipes all data. Is it same for Xiaomi?

You can't open the phone after factory reset, even with the old redmi 2 it's impossible, someone had to travel a long distance to get to me to dig out her Mo password after factory reset. She actually forgot her pattern lock and took it to phone engineers to wipe, after wiping they couldn't access the phone after selecting language, because it was demanding for Mi Account.

When you lose your phone, it's a miracle to get it back even with all these features, the real advantage here for me is the inability of the thief or any other person to use the phone again. If the phone is switched off, it's even worse because the phone will become inaccessible due to Mi Lock. Lastly it's not possible for the thief to turn off the find my device option, because Mi password is required to do that.
