House, which xiaomi model can be offered as alternative to someone interested in tecno phantom 6+, I mean spec-wise though, cos I know that xiaomi isn't mate with shitno.

(4G RAM, 64GB, 21MP/8MP, at least 6"wink

Note : Camera performance is very important
Redmi note 4x, 4gig ram version, mtk or snapdragon. The only ish is the screen size, dat 20mp is not an issue grin

Yea, thanks for the correction, there's no option for 32gig sef, just 16 and 64 gig, plus you end up paying around over $200 for the 64gig version.

What about Mi Pad
Mi Pad is very good, sleek, lightweight, and with a camera that is likely to be among the best for most tabs out there, but, it comes with a maximum of 2gig ram and a non expandable internal memory of either 32 or 64gig, you can only get memory expansion option on the old Mi Pad, and the screen size is just 7.9 inch which is quite small for many tab lovers.

Thanks bro, i am not the picture snapping type, besides i have a phone with good camera. What i really want in the tablet is good battery and memory. Thanks for your suggestion.
Then you are covered with Teclast, just avoid the ones that run on mtk processors, and also watch out for good screen resolution, these all affect the price, not just ram, rom and battery capacity.

Finally got the phone from Onitsha post office yesterday after over one month. The enthusiasm is no longer there , yet to unbox it. Still flexing my RMN2 prime. Thanks everyone for the support, you all are a lovely family
Which phone did you collect, the Redmi note 2 is still a great device anyday, only issue is the weak battery performance.

Thanks
Memory cards are now expensive, for around $8-10, you could get a 32gig as at January, but now, smh. Meanwhile you can also check out Mixza memory cards, very good.

Hmmm, I really hope it's the camera angle o
By the time you see the device in person, you won't even remember you said this, of course any unevenness you see is as a result of aberration. This device has one of the sweetest sound output from its external speaker compared to other Redmi phones, you will love it don't worry.

Hi guy,

My note 4x is prompting me to update the MIUI version to v8.2.5.0.

Should I go ahead? I thought a guy warned that we shouldn't update to v8.2.5.0 due to battery drain issue, is this still a concern?

Thanks
Update isn't worth it, you can ignore until better updates come.

Phones › Re: How Smartphones Are Gradually Damaging Your Eyes - MUST READ by Gptech(m): 9:53pm On Jun 02, 2017
Very good write up @MizMyColi, but take note, some persons cannot avoid this problem because using the blue filter mode with a very bright screen at night also damages the eyes. When some of us read reviews, we just run towards camera, ram, rom, processor, and battery. For me, knowing the maximum brightness and minimum brightness, measured in knits is very important. A good screen is one that has a very high brightness level and very low brightness at the same time. Most cheap screens are too bright even at 0 level brightness, their 0 brightness is like 30% brightness of good screens. So the first step is to know if the minimum brightness of your screen is even safe.

I've not found any app though. Nothing beats having it on phone by default.

Also, no split screen on Note 4x.
Split screen is not yet implemented in miui, will have to be done to make it compatible with devices running even marshmallow ( this feature is supposed to be for Nougat devices only, apart from Samsung devices).

As for the clipboard, check the screenshots or is it different from it?

Nope, that belongs to the note series and Mi series only, Redmi series has never had those lights on.

Is that phone really good like that with that small battery and 5inch screen
Battery is good of course though not in the league of the note 4 sd, its a flagship device and no Redmi phone come close.
