I wonder how some people read and jump to conclusion. The little girl is not Nigeria's ambassador to Tanzania, she was made the ambassador of a foundation owned by the First Lady of Tanzania. The foundation fights for the right of girl child and her education same course our dear girl is pursuing. This is similar to a company eg Glo making P-square their ambassador. pls read well before commenting. All those asking for her number or 2go ID, hehehe...many paedophiles on rampage on NL ![]() |
Elliotwiz1: It's just like telling everyone on nairaland to vote for who will be a moderator between the both of us, then i decided to pull out and you won, the oga@dtop has nothing to do with the process, It's possible that if i had not stepped down i could have been voted into that post, same here, the contenders stepped down so only Nigeria is left and they automatically own that post.I don't know you but from the way you think if you are still in primary or junior secondary school I can pardon you. But if you are in a tertiary institution or a graduate, I think your school should bow her head in shame for their admission given to you is/was a waste. Pls, always think before you type and contribute with insight to discourse such as this. I didn't intend to comment on this thread initially, it was because of your comments I did |
A Nairalander is in need of a mini flat to rent in any of these areas: Ketu, Palm groove, Ilupeju or surulere. The house should have water supply, electricity, fenced compound and parking space. *please, scammers off my thread |
Let me share here what Joyzy Pius Egunjobi wrote about this issue: Crown and Turban are mentioned in Exodus 39:27-31 and Leviticus :7-9 as part of the vestment of Aaron (the High Priest). The Lord also told Aaron and his sons Eleazar and Ithamar, "Do not UNCOVER your heads nor tear your clothes, so that you will not die and that He will not become wrathful against all the congregation… for the LORD'S anointing oil is upon you." (Lev 10:6-7). Though there are no Biblical records, artists often depict the Apostles and the earliest saints who were bishops wearing “zucchetto” (skullcap worn by bishops) or the Miter (The headdress/headband worn by bishops). The Miter is a sign that the Bishop is the head of a particular Diocese though the Bishop himself is in subjection to the Headship of Christ (Col 1:18; 1Cor 11: 3) - the very reason he (the Bishop) removes both the skullcap and the Miter during Consecration. Symbolically, Miter stands for the Crown St Paul talks about in 2 Timothy 4:7-8 worn by the Bishop who leads his flock in the race to salvation. “For no man takes this honor to himself, but he who is called by God, just as Aaron was (Heb 5:4). When you look at the Bishop presiding over the Mass therefore, see in Him the Supreme Head and High Priest, Jesus Christ, listen to his teachings, observe them and do them (Acts 2:42; Matt 23:3). |

@Op, this happens to both males and females. I think the way a lady feels about a guy she doesn't love but loves her is same way a guy will feel when a lady he doesn't love loves him. In other news: The truth about Nigerian husbands busted: www.nairaland.com/1414969/awkward-truth-naija-husbands |
