seekdel: I declared my Canada study permit refusal, got my CAS, visa, and almost done with 1st semester now. Asking for the documents you want to use for your application will enable UoB visasupport team to profile you accordingly and prepare you for the visa interview.
Welcome to UoB by faith Thanks so much seekdel |

@justwise I learnt with priority, I'm not gonna get interviewed That's what I'm trying to avoid, really ... justwise: With student visa you don’t have to provide source of income , it’s perfectly ok to sponsor yourself.
Even with previous refusal you can still apply for priority but if you are not in a hurry priority is a waste of money. |

1) You have provided a bank statement in your name from firstbank with a closing bal of 13086. I am not satisfied you have the funds you state you will spend on you visit to the UK .. I'm not satisfied you have sufficient funds available to cover your costs whilst In the UK (July 2018) *I was serving then*
2) You have provided evidence of your employment and a closing balance of #954,678.66. the bank statement list numerous deposits between the period of the month that equate to #22,992,200 . The information you provided doesn't demonstrate the source of these funds or reconcile to the amount you stated is your yearly income or savings. As you haven't demonstrated the origins of these funds, I am not satisfied that you have presented an accurate reflection of your personal or financial circumstances in Nigeria (Feb 2020) Now working ... Salary #152,250
Now that I wanna apply for student, (self sponsored) the money is in my account (28days)... How / what documents can I use to show the origin of the money ...
And also , with the above refusals' reason can I apply for priority visa? Hope there won't be any delay ?
What was the reason for the refusal?[/quote] |

Thanks justwise, i will apply for Visa latest by May. Also, I have 2 visit visa refusals (UK) and my school stated you may not get your CAS if you have been refused before . After when I've made a payment of £2,000.. I'm kinda confused But I have a friend that got her CAS after the deposit of £2,000 (not same school o) ... Just deposit ... They didn't ask for statement of account or TB certificate Why is my school like that? They are even telling me to get prepared for interview University of Bradford o justwise: 1. Are you going to get divorce before getting married?
2. When are you planning to apply for visa?
I think there is an option of separation in that form, if you going to apply before marriage then select separation an option then use the space provided or extra paper to give a bit of details and also mention that you will be getting married by August. |

Good evening justwise and co
I have an issue.
I once applied for visit visa last year when I was married... I uploaded my marriage certificate
I'm not into the marriage anymore and we haven't gone for divorce ... Obviously we aren't staying together... We have gone our separate ways since last year june...no kids tho
I wanna get re-married soon and the date is fixed August 14.
At the same time I'm applying for UK student visa. Sept intake
In my application form should I click on married or divorce (ps. No divorce letter for now ) and what's the possibility that I will be able to invite my new husband over as a dependant ...
Please advice |

FraudMan: Pay your 2k deposit (if you have more than 2k, you can pay) to get your CAS.
Please when you want to prepare your 28days bank statement, include the 5k in your tuition balance alongside your maintenance fee.
Abeg ooooo, except it is clearly stated in your CAS that you have 5k discount. Cover letter helps too. So I should be able to get my CAS with only the advance payment of £2,000 .... Do I need to submit my bank statement to get the CAS also? |

Hello Nairalanders, Please I need your help I already got an offer in University of Bradford to study Msc in int'l business In my offer later, I was asked to make a deposit of £2,000 and I was given a scholarship of £5, 000 to be deducted from my tuition fee (Self funding student) Tuition fee is £17,682
I want to ask , what's then next step to take ? How do I get my CAS ? Is it after the advance deposit or before ??
Please put me through |

bigbus: One option is for him to cancel, and start a new application all over again. The refund for the first application will take some time to come though. Is it only UK refusal? ... I mean should we include those refusals for other countries? Or just for Uk?? |

Still finding it difficult to understand the number 2 .... The question: How much money do you have in savings. Does it include the money from your sponsor? I mean the account closing balance... Please giselle237 , put more light... giselle237: 1. You can write a cover letter to explain anything you want the ECO to have further understanding about especially regards you and/or this trip, your circumstances, you coming back to Nigeria, financial history, ties, marriage, investments, children, property, assets, travel history u want him to be aware of. When you get to the additional information section of ur form, write some of it there and tell the visa officer to please also check for more information in ur cover letter. 2. How much you have in savings refers to your own personal circumstances. Your own personal money that you have that is classified as savings to you. 3. 621k budget depends on what exactly you are been sponsored for. If it’s a business trip/conference as you say you are going for, try and reduce it so that the 700k u are declaring that your company is contributing will be seen to be more than enough. 4. Pls I hope you have all documents and a strong compelling letter from your employer to back up this trip and finances so that u dnt get denied. 5. Fill the application well where it is asked is anyone paying for all or part of your trip. 6. Don’t forget to have a good written out plan also in the application form and ur cover letter on what you plan to do in the UK from your arrival till your departure. It shows seriousness. |

I have a letter for the grant , stating the amount and why ... Not just only the employment letter. giselle237: @gracious U said your employer is sponsoring... with how much? And they have to issue you out a comprehensive letter to state this and why... not just employment letter or payslips from ur end Is it really a conference sponsored by ur company? If its not your salary of 150k will not be good enough for u to apply standalone.. |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Gracious13: 12:28pm On Feb 07, 2020 |
Its not my first time... I've been denied once.. I applied 2018 , when I was engage in NYSC .. reason for refusal- I'm not satisfied you have the funds stated you will spend on your visit to the UK .. 1. Ok, 2. Oh , the mistake I made is, I added the money from my sponsor to my saving 700k + my own personal savings ... I actually wrote 950k as d closing balance ... I can still edit it... Pls put me through 3. Ok , what if I reduce it to 570k... 4. Yes I have my employment letter, 6 months bank statement and payslip, bank reference letter, 5. Yes, I mentioned my employer.. 6. a good written out plan in my application... How do I do go about that. And in my cover letter giselle237: 1. You can write a cover letter to explain anything you want the ECO to have further understanding about especially regards you and/or this trip, your circumstances, you coming back to Nigeria, financial history, ties, marriage, investments, children, property, assets, travel history u want him to be aware of. Good day everyone, thanks so much for the response, I have cancelled the application and trying to apply for another with my new passport number.... please I'm a bit confused.. I'm seeing people talking about cover letter or so... Please can a person going for a conference also write a cover letter.. if yes, what and what, can i write there ..
And again, I'm employed with monthly salary of #155 250 after tax , I spend 50k every month and going for a conference, in which my employer is sponsoring me with 700k .
In my application form, I said I have #949,786 in savings. And planning to spend #621,400 .. I want to ask.. what do they mean by how much money do you have in savings? ... Does it include the 700k from my sponsor or the money I have ... and again I hope #621,400 is not too much. Or I should reduce it ... Actually going for a 7days visit... |

Good day everyone.. please I'm confused right now.. I applied for Uk visa with my old passport, thinking I would submit without booking appointment (walk in), but before I knw it was already less than 6 months .. And later I came to realize, If i submit my application, I might not be issued visa , so I had to collect a new passport and they have already cancelled the old one ...
The problem is , I don't know what to do again... So Confused . should I cancel the application ? and get my money back or submit it like that.
Thanks |
