@all the gurus in the house that have used series strong decoder, there is one i discoverd on srt 4675, when u switch channel on another TP it takes 7 or more seconds to respond to signal, first it will display bad or no signal, is that any solution to solve such problem, cos i want to solve the problem for my clients that are using it on mytv.

Pls house, has anybody used the new TP of mytv on eutelsat 16A to recieve and open mytv channel with active subscription, cos i just tried it using this TP 12.522 H 30.000, and it is telling me "NO ACCESS" and the older TP on intelsat 20 @ 68.5e which is 12.522 H 29.950 is not poping green while other TPs on that sat is poping green, thats why i decide to use the new one on 16e, pls somebody should throw more light on this issue.

@Akplatinum2005, make sure u get up to 82 - 85% on 12.015 V 29.950 before u can hit green etv hyderpack, i tweek my lnb to 10 0clock before i could get 85% on that above mentioned TP.

Since am at home today in the afternoon being sunday to track champions tv, i put on the tp and it shows green within a seconds, when i was notified by a member here that the tp is active at that moment.

I think its only trackable with 90cm dish

@ifyking, i track it with 60cm dish in Abuja nigeria, and it is even on lnb attached on amos 5 setup, and am using srt 4922A

Thanks to the guy that called to inform me of champions tv that is active, i told people that my decoder had never disappointed me, i just scan it now and i got it, the reason why i was not getting it before is because i dont scan at the right time, and for those that asked wether it is posible to attach ses 5 on amos 5 setup, it is possible, just hold the lnb on ur hand and focus it on the dish at below right hand side of the amos 5 setup, u will hear an alarm on ur satfinder to indicate where to put ur lnb

Graphicicon it doesn't pop up on some decoders... Am using 4669xii and a 60cm pan. They're showing AFCON match now so all you have to do is add the tp and leave it for 1-2 mins and the signal will pop up (only if your decoder could get it).

@mtchris, lol...... Lol....., bro am using 4922A which has never had any problem with any signal or tp, even the hardest tp that people do complained of, am getting all, pls do me a favour by flashing me or call when u notice that the tp is active, and again is the pol H or V ?, 08069338224

This champions tv of a thing that some people are watching and some are not getting it, let me ask is in the morning or afternoon or in the night that people do recieve it, cos i always check in night when i come back from work that i normally check and the tp is always red, and i have not had any problem with any tp before, even the etv hyderpack that was so difficult for people to recieve i have been recieving it clean and clear, and am using srt 4922A decoder and using 60cm dish, and other are saying they are getting it with 60cm dish, why i my not getting it.

pls sorry for posting this problem on this thread, I download nokia recovery tool version 5.0.0, i have been trying to install it on my computer, it is giving me an error message with so many codes that end with eee7, and my computer is running on window 7 ultimate, and when am installing version 3.1 it will be successful, and all the softwares required to be installed on my computer before installing the nokia recovery tool are present on my computer

It depends on the tv set you bought!won't you prefer this kind of menu on your TV sets! rather than going back to analogue broadcast!

@odilibe, when i want to buy i will go for samsung product, and i must watch it carefully before buying.

And lg32lc46 with contrast ratio of 5000:1..well both tv set are delivering! Advanced picture quality! From my own review and ignoring both tv manufacture's specification...lg42le5900 has more contrast and looks more superior and functions than lg32lc46 LCD TV..though lg32lc46 lcd TV ..delivers better colour than lg42le5900 TV..however,overall lg42le5900 led tv is more better!..both TV sets are bought from UK!
Well the competition is between Samsung and lg..and getting the best or original brand!

seems like you bought the lower class or fake chinese tv..to compare it with old out of date anaIogue/tv lol ..In the meantime! I am using LG32LC46 LCD tv bought from the uk..with contrast ratio of up to 5000:1..with XD engine..2hdmi/2av input euro scart/rgb in/pcmcia card slot/Svideo/av input/optical digital audio out/rgb for PC/audio input..combined with my dvb sat receiver set on 1080i @60Hz HD resolution..I am having hard times differentiating between SD and HD channels on nilesat 7 west!..get the original lG TV!

@odilibe, which type is the best, is it LCD or LED, and again which "make" is the best and the model number, cos one of my guy bought LG 32 inches flat screen which is LED and i dont like the picture quality and he bought it 42,000 naira in Nyanya Abuja, what is ur take on that.

Tech gurus in the house, i think the picture quality of old generation televisio that has a shootout back is the best compare to these new generation of LED tv, LCD tv, if u are watching LED tv or LCD tv, the picture seems to look like as it is zoomed, especially if u are watching and event that has multitude of people, so guys which flat TV has the best picture quality in terms of contrast and resolution size.

@all the network engineers, what is the meaning of Twin protocol and its function toward satellite broadcast and internet service, does it help in uplink and downlink, cos normal decoder can download but it cant upload, having twin protocol on a decoder does it means it can upload and download data?

@blexxonmak, thanks so much, i want you to do me a favour by sending me the steps on how to insert biss key on srt 4950 via my email, cos the ones i'm seeing on nairaland is not comprehensive at all, just sending the steps of the one that have worked for you, cos am seeing different many steps on nairaland, am little bit confused, other models of strong decoder are so easy to input biss key on them, my email is graphicicon8@gmail.com

I cant find srt 4922A in the market now in Abuja, if anybody have it in stock should call me 08069338224, i dont mean fake one, and the person must reside in Abuja.
