Omo, see finishing! I can bet Keyamo has been reading some of our argument against Peter Obi on Nairaland before putting this statement together.

Obi is an empty candidate with an empty record. To make matters worse, he has decided to delve into ethnic jingoism. Such a crooked character is not fit to lead a big and diverse country like Nigeria.
An empty candidate cannot be a successful business man.

Empty candidates are those that prey on our common wealth through illicit government contracts and corruption and then celebrate it as success.

Obtaining certificate is to certify you at that level and prepare you for another level. If a primary 6 certificate has no other education except that, he could tender his primary 6 certificate to certify he's got basic education at least. One who proceeded to a secondary school would be given one to be admitted into university and so on.

It's stupid to be asking a confirmed university graduate about his primary 6 certificate. Stupidity at its best.
The real stupidity is when a confirmed university graduate cannot provide a mere primary six certificate. I don't want to believe he doesn't have it.

Youtube video that could be edited and remove what does not favour u

Obi will not win the NC and whichever votes difference he got from that region will be cancelled by SW vote difference gotten by Atiku and Tinubu.

His strong hold is only SE
APC stronghold is NW
Atiku SH is NE

The rest regions could go either way.

From the look of things, the odd does not favour Obi
APC stronghold may be the North-West but Tinubu will not win it. Atiku or Kwankwaso will win the North-West.

Has Buhari ever performed well? So, don't say nobody ever knew that Buhari will fail Nigerians. Buhari failed in the 80s. Some Nigerians knew he would fail again.

Politics / Re: Peter Obi: Much Ado About Funding From Diasporans by Great2017: 10:55am On Sep 05, 2022
Obinoscopy:
So what's currently trending in the political sphere is the diasporan funding for Peter Obi and it being against the electoral act (section 85, subsection a and b).

Prior to now, it has never been an issue as Nigerian politicians source their funds majorly from other means. Some through illegal diversion of State funds while others through funding from the oligarchs and super wealthy who have vested interests in the government. The money politicians get from Nigerians in the diapora has been very meagre. Perhaps that explains why it never trended in the past. But with the emergence of Peter Obi, the story has changed as it would seem the Diasporans are ready to bankroll the Peter Obi campaign immensely.

Now the issue is that the electoral act is against funding political parties from abroad. So what that means is that the Labor Party are not meant to collect any money from anyone abroad. Any money collected will be forfeited and the party fined. Now what is the Labor Party's plan in regards ensuring they don't break this law.

I just watched the interview Prof Pat Utomi granted to Seun of Channels TV and I was surprised at Prof's response to this law. He was literally calling that law bluff. Based on his response, it would seem the plan of the Labor Party is to go ahead and collect monies from abroad and use it to fund their campaigns. That is very dangerous.

I must state it here that I share Prof Utomi's sentiment in regards to the funding as a way Nigerians can take back their country. I also agree that the law is a clog in the wheel of Nigerians in the diaspora who want to take back their country from the rich corrupt politicians. But I don't think it's wise to call the law bluff. This is because the law has constitutional backing. Section 225 (3) (a) and (b) of the constitution was very clear about funding from abroad. Going against the constitution is wrong as the courts will never support you.

So my advice to the Labor Party is that they assemble their legal team to study the law and seek for ways to raise funds without contravening the law. Perhaps one way, would be for an NGO or body that has no financial ties with the Labor Party be the one to champion the collection and disbursement of these Diasporan funds.

Now let's even look at the law and the purpose/intent of it. I think the reason behind the law is noble.....to prevent foreign influence on our country. A sovereign country can only remain sovereign if they are not influenced by any foreign country. I 100% agree with that. But I think that law was coined wrongly. Nigerians in diapora are not "foreigners". They are Nigerians. So even though they are abroad, they should be able to be contribute towards the growth of their country in every way possible. The law should be tweeked to prevent donations from foreigners/foreign countries and not prevent donations from Nigerian in diaspora.

Will the Labor Party call the law bluff? Will the constitution be amended? Will the Labor Party look for other ways to raise funds? Let's see how events unfold.
The Law says political parties and not Peter Obi or any independent campaign groups. This should not be an hurdle to comply with.

Oyindamolah:
Two men were governors one in Lagos the other in Anambra . Towards the end of their second term, the one in Lagos sent his retirement bill and got his house of assembly to approve what you see below as his yearly pension.

1. 300% annual salary as severance package as approved by RMAFAC.
2. 100% of annual basic salary of incumbent gov as salary for LIFE even after leaving office.
3. Six new cars every 3 years
4. A new house in Lagos, minimum 5 bedroom
5. A new house in Abuja or any other location, minimum 5 bedroom.
6. Free medical care for him and members of his family for life.
7. Entitled to cooks, stewards, Gardners, and domestic staffs, all pensionable.
8. 300% of his annual basic salary as governor every 2 years as furniture allowance
9. 100% of annual basic salary as governor as his house maintenance allowance
10. Two DSS officers, 1 female officer for his wife and eight policemen to guard him.
11. 25% of his annual basic salary for personal assistants.
12. 30% of his annual basic salary for car maintenance .
13. 20% of his annual basic salary as utilities maintenance.
14. Pensionable drivers, no limits to the number.

This is apart from what he gets as a percentage of collections from Alpha Beta for tax collections for Lagos State and the total control he has over the governor and the treasury.

But See what Peter Obi collects from Anambra State since leaving office as governor:

1. No gratuity
2. No pensions
3. No houses
4. No cars
5. No allowances of any kind
6. No maintenances of any kind.
7. No personal assistants paid by the state.
8. No domestic staffs paid by the state.
9. No aids sponsored by the state.
10. Not even pure water.
11. No shishi from the State.

Now the two men want to be president.

So choose you today who means well for Nigeria and who will serve the people selflessly.

Am just exposing your mind to see the truth. It is now your decision to make and convince others.
Use your reasoning. Vote and support wisely…. This is the man who wants to become your president.. The man Tinubu thinks We are second-class citizens ..
The difference is crystal clear. Certainly , it is the one with little or no baggage to their States.
