Just go to their branch and inquire, their major concern is the Competence Development level 3,once you have the equivalent and the body you obtained it from is recognised by ISPON then you are good to go.The standard in ISPON is General HSE and Competence Development Level 3.With these you will be qualified to go through their membership process.I can't really tell if they now have branch in Ondo state(The closest to you is Oyo or Ogun ,) mikegeo: |

They both belong to the same family. ENGINEERING FAMILY. CRAFTMEN(NATEB and its Equivalent ) - TECHNICIAN (National Diploma ) - TECHNOLOGY (HND ) - ENGINEERS (B. ENG ) For the fact that you hold a B. ENG doesn't really qualifies you to be called an Engineer. In fact an HND + PGD can be called an Engineer and a B. ENG holder won't be refer to as an Engineer. The conditions for you to be called an Engineer as a B. ENG holder is that your degree must be up to four years, then you will be qualified to sit for your Nigerian society of Engineers exams, once you are successful you can now apply for COREN directly. For an HND holder to be called an Engineer you must have pgd and your pgd certificate must be upto two years old before you will be qualified to write Nigerian society of Engineers exams then you proceed to COREN. |
In ND Computer Engineering you will do some Electrical courses like EEC115 and also several mechanical engineering courses, like Technical drawing, machine tools, statics and Dynamics, few other courses, how would one tends to skip all these unip: |
The best place to inquire is the Department in question. Meet with the HOD. |
Do you know even if you are a Prof in Computer science and later did PGD in Computer Engineering Nigerian society of Engineers will never recognise you. I repeat it is abnormal to switch from ND Computer science to HND Computer Engineering. You can't even move from ND Electrical to HND MECHANICAL ENGINEERING unip: |
I don't think any institution will offer you admission, Computer Engineering is far higher than computer Science. You have missed the basic foundation of Engineering principles and such can't be compromise. It beats my imagination seeing people compare both fields here. Alvinricky10: |
Just try to master the contents of your CV,Know the basic principles in your course of study. |
That might not be is true picture.Only his phone number i can attest to |
