No one has resumed any work anywhere,the GMD doesn't have any power to even give such appointment, if it is a contract job or support service then i will agree with you but i know for sure all contract job in KRPC and WRPC will be expiring this June.No doubt people will be taking through recommendation but with the same process,list and resumption date. 2011 recruitment became inconclusive due to political interest that is why i wish this process come to reasonable conclusion before the political climate become balance,for now every politician is distracted with the happenings in the National assembly, after Tuesday they will start lobbying for various committees,in fact this same list is expected to pass through one of the committees for approval or so.

People have resumed already even before the test was written...My friend who happens to be a girl resumes two weeks back courtesy of slot she got,no exam,no interview,no nothing..As she told me,I just removed my mind from nnpc and I advise y’all to do same

DPR can't be a subsidiary of NNPC,they are regulators that checkmate the activities of NNPC for standards,they are under the ministry of Petroleum. In some cases DPR has the power to sanction NNPC (E.g in event of loss of life in workplace, equipment failure) etc ,in fact there are some equipment that are called DPR certified equipment,such as pressure safety valve, such equipment need one with competence to carry out repairs. That is why HSE department is a major player in NNPC.

Master what you have on your CV, that will also be where interview questions will come from, undergraduate projects and so on.

I don't see it appropriate for people to start discussing past exams here or arguing about who gets it right or wrong.
Why not prepare for the interview invitation, many will be called too. Just get use to the basic principles of your undergraduate work and learn deeply on the components, structure and Operation of NNPC.
You must have to look deep because there are more SBUs in NNPC now, get to know them and their operations because successful ones must be posted to these Strategic business units,it is a must.

There is no position as EH in NNPC, until you are sure of your level you can't tell your pay... Some EH can be placed on SS4 ,SS 3 or SS2 ,if you are placed in SS1;then you don dey near Manager be that,
In all EH is not less than 400k ,na upfront be another great deal.

You haven't seen some previous past questions that were much easier,they know what they are looking for,no matter how simple it is many people will be screened out.Once you meet the cut off point in your State then you must be called for interview.

2011 questions weren't different, Las las results go come out...you may score 78% and still be among the least in your State, don't tell me you will score 90% biko

I don't think they want to use this CBT result for the selection because if it is the type of question I got that everyone answer then almost every body will pass 50/60 too cheap oooo so am suspecting some thing fishy

Cut off mark is usually base on state performance, on your other points you are very correct, I doubt if they will go above 1500 ,at maximum 2000.

The truth remains that no matter how easy you set questions people will still fail due to some reasons, excitement,over confident and some must have even gone ahead to practice difficult questions without revising the simple ones.

A friend of mine asked me yesterday how will the questions look like,
My reply : This committee may even bring another pattern...Most patterns are very easy and people sees it and begin to doubt if it can be that easy.
When you see easy questions don't be surprise just answer it.

For you to gain more you must be ready to read from page 1 to this current Page. Link on past questions have been shared several times on this page.BIt is not easy but you must spare time to go through people's comments, you won't need all the comments but you must have to go through all. It is more like writing literature review.

Good day everyone, no hope should be dashed, NNPC will always get it right when it comes to shortlisting,in fact things have even improved since it is not just handled by those in towers but by a committee which is composed of representative by other SBU'S too (Strategic business unit or you say subsidiaries).The screening of documents is even done electronically but i can't really tell how the software does such. I pity those who are already losing hope about the process,once you are qualified and do well in your interview even your village people can't stop you. In fact most persons i know who got jobs in NNPC are based on merit , you won't be fair too if you don't expect top management to also recommend their candidates for such process (It is part of the practice world wide although worst in Nigeria). Just prepare and wait on standby . From the schedule of the committee the test date have passed which ought to have come in April but certainly new dates will come up,they are trying to get it right this time around and also trying to be fair to all . I wish everyone goodluck. Don't ever lose hope in the process. Those who got this job in 2007 on merit can testify.
