Truth be told PGD in chemical engineering is not less than 2years and Msc is around 18 months or more.Reversing to engineering at this stage won't help you either because The Nigerian Society of Engineers won't recognize you as their member since your first degree is not in engineering.Why not consider other career(professional courses) path or do masters in industrial chemistry for better career growth.

It is safer and you won't regret you did.

Am currently doing Energy and power, although am done with course work,Thermo-fluid is not too far from it.All the world is talking about nw is energy and power.In a general view mechanical engineering is an interesting discipline.Design , materials are also cool.

I advice you to be consistent in your career growth, mix up most often have negative effect in your career growth.Nigerian society of Engineers frowns at such path.Youth might even be denied membership at some instance.Why not consider other aspect or option in mechanical,or do you think you have known all about Mech Eng'g ?(Energy and power,Design ,Materials and few others options are available for you).If you feel you must cross carpet then go for pgd in Elect Elect before going for masters in Elect elect.

With all these industries in Nigeria millions of people are still unemoloyed. Something is wrong somewhere. I can't list all the companies in Onitsha alone let alone those in kaduna. Asaba is an administrative centre with two mini Steel company (Eastern steel Mill and General steel Mill ) owned by Chinese and Indians respectively. Industries that can be used as indices for employer of labour should be our focus. There are mine Textile industries in Kaduna and i don't think any of them is Functional aside administrative work, Kaduna Refining,Peugeot Automobile, Flour Mill, Nigeria Breweries, Coca-cola and the likes, in the North Kaduna takes lead.

You guys should stop blaming yourselves.It is a Nigeria factor.It is either there is strike for one stupid reason or the other OR the student can't cope with the lecturer high level of reasoning OR the lecturer is not always available when the student needs his attention.In most cases students don't really know the mechanics behind thesis.After your first semester exams you should be able to have your thesis proposal ready.(If you are used to copy and paste techniques you may likely spend additional 2 years).

You can confirm that from them and i believe it wil be indicated on their certificate or to be on a safe side you go for ISPON directly .

Not far from what i was saying,groups can be form here according to state so that other persons in other states can wake up and search for jobs in their locality.For those in kaduna that needs teaching jobs either you check post office notice board before Union bank or State Library .

I want to submit that the handlers of this forum should also device a means to see that other job seekers in other states aside Lagos, Abuja, Ogun also benefit in this struggle.I want to confess that you guys are doing great job here.There are job vacancies in every state and so we should look within, everyone cannot move down to lagos in search of teaching jobs.

Are you an engineer?Once the road design is faulty expect flood.With good road design and good consideration of the plain of the location(low land and high land) you will never experience flooding
