Police in Asaba have described social media reports on the murder of the abducted former Delta State Commissioner, Joan Onyemaechi, as a rumour and fake news.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Delta State Police Command, SP Bright Edafe, refuted the reports when contacted for confirmation.

He however said there was no update on the kidnap case as no contact had been established with the abductors since the incident occurred on Tuesday.

The social media was flooded Friday morning with news of the discovery of the remains of the abducted former commissioner and two others at the Onitsha end of the Niger bridge.

Govt needs to review certain things, crunching down modular refineries for a country that can't boast of one functional refinery sounds ridiculous and a counter productive move.

Are we cursed or is there a taboo that forbids Nigeria must not refine it own crude oil, why can't govt integrate and annex these modular refineries into a system that will regulate there activities and ensures its in line with required standards, govt can even grant funds to help upscale these modular refineries at the end of the day it going boost our local production.

Another stupid law that needs review is the burning of vessels carrying stolen oil to our shores, why not divert the stolen oil ceased to serve public servants hereby govt save itself of re-current expenditure. why waste what we can use and save some money.

Different countries calls it different names but there is a standard for naming it, they are all fuels (Fuel can be Solid e.g Firewood, paper , trash ,cloths etc , Liquid e.g Petrol PMS, Kerosene DPK , Diesel AGO etc and Gas e.g LPG cooking Gas , Methane gas etc)...and so 90% plus of our natural gas contains Methane gas, main reason natural gas is called Methane gas(it contains most constituents by percentage) , LPG(Liquified Petroleum Gas) is the cooking gas (containing butane and propane)...the best form to transport methane gas is through pipelines , we have lines running to Ghana and to other west Africa countries from Nigeria and currently working on AKK, running through Ajaokuta -Kaduna- Kano heading to Algeria then to Morocco. So to cut cost sometimes you don't run pipe from one end to supply just one customer at another far end except there are many interested customers there and so the best alternative is to compress the gas into a cylinder and transport to that customer, reason we call it Compressed Natural Gas CNG... Cooking gas are not used to run vehicles
