Read what I said again... You don't use CPR for a baby dying as a result of force feeding o. I think what my dad did was to hold the baby up side down and hit the baby's back moderately. If the baby is lucky enough then it will jerk and vomit through nose and mouth and eventually come back to life.
CPR is mostly used for cardiac arrest and heart attack...

You absolutely don't know how this things works...test run is carried out on every single vehicle and not few

Filling station and fuel station are both correct...
There are different forms of fuel
Solid fuel..wood ,paper ,trash , plastic ,clothes etc
Liquid fuel... kerosene (DPK) , Petrol (PMS) , Diesel (AGO) etc
Gasous Fuel... Cooking gas (LPG/butane/propane) , natural gas (Methane) etc.. and so when you go to filling station you intend to buy any of the above fuel or fuel station to do same...
For me Petrol station can only be correct if it is designed to dispense only Petrol and not gas , kerosene or diesel ,same with Gas station to dispense only gas...but most filling stations in Nigeria sells kerosene , LPG, diesel and Petrol...

Gas is still very much available ,the most widely means of transporting gas is through pipeline and there is currently Technical issue at the production end and also some compressor stations shut down ,it is compressor that produces pressure that is used to transport the gas... although this gas is totally different from your cooking gas... Mechanical faults are bound to occur even with full maintenance schedule in place , although in this case they rarely even occur...

Engineering as practiced in Nigeria has a family which comprises of Artisan, technician , technologist and Engineer , they all have their job description well defined...
Moreover a Mechanical Engineer is different from a mechanic ,you can fully discuss Mechanic and automobile engineer ,why do you think some schools such as Kaduna Polytechnic has Mechanical Engineering Department and also Automobile Engineering Department ,they aren't same , although as a mechanical engineer you are expected to know some aspect of automobile , but on a large scale Mechanical Engineering includes Power plant/Energy system ,Fluids Mechanics , materials , production/Manufacturing ,Heat Transfer system , Designs , thermodynamics systems and controls... Plumbing to a large extent is Mechanical (Piping ,valves and actuators).
Specialization is the beauty of Engineering...

You don't necessarily need to switch course but you can simply build a career in HSE...And so you may decide to start from General HSE and HSE Competent Development level 3 with ISPON (Institute of safety Professionals of Nigeria) then you try your hands on NEBOSH

Your school may not have that option but there is that building services option in Mechanical ,the most common ones are plant and Manufacturing/Production

You have made some suggestions though but in practice it doesn't work that way , cooking gas known as LPG is not same as the one used in the industry... natural gas which is about 89% methane is what we used to power equipment in our industries.
The supply link and availability of gas is also a cause to this price increase , the truth is that NLNG export the gas and in return we import same gas to meet demand.
What NLNG is currently producing is not enough to meet our demand and NLNG is not fully owned Nigerian entity and it was set up for export of gas.
The current status of our refineries made the NLNG to be made to look inwards to make available for local market(at an agreed volume but the number of persons using gas for cooking at the moment has overshoot available volume)

If the government likes let them remain silent and senedile in periods as this soaring gas prices. The first action of a government is to protect the interest of the citizens when dangers as this high prices of gas occurs. The actions and inactions of the government matters a lot. You are using external shock and JV between IOCs and the NNPC to make a case for the government. That means people can go and die so long as the interest cum profit of both in the joint ventures are served.

Let me ask, have you bordered to have a look into gas tax and other contingent levies over its importation? In as much as I believe that this is a short run period for the government to take a drastic overhaul of the system to provide cheap and affordable gas, I as well believe that the government can do something through policy intervention in the gas sector that can ameliorate the suffering of the citizens they govern. The government can take internal decision that can cussion the effects of external shock of high gas prices.

Let me ask you, what is the difference in human population density and industrial concentration between the urban and rural areas in the country? Check out your demography in NBS and tell the world which is higher or statistically significant in number. I asked you this question because you have always reference gas subsidy between urban and rural dwellers. Maybe you think it's only households alone that uses gas without factoring in factories in urban areas that uses it to produce goods for the rural communities too.
Stop crying foul and think that the opinion of others does not matter when it doesn't tilt towards your submission within a public forum.
