Hypocritical Nigerians! Why not remove the Log in your own eyes before you can see the speck in the others eyes. If I were in The comrade Governors shoe, I will do the same. |
The level of intelligence in expressions of most people on this blog is worrisome! The meaning of SSS tells even a slowpoke that the operations are secret! How then do the opposers of Federal Govt. attribute even action of the law enforcement agents to the office of the president! |
The state of Anambra gubernatorial election reminds me of the story told about two mothers who use to share same bed with their infant babes. While asleep, it happened that one mistakenly laid on her baby and it died. Realizing that, she swapped it with the others. When they broke, the other mother was vehement that the dead baby wasn't hers which led to an argument that was brought to King Solomon to settle! .... the rest ...I believe you know. Without investigation, APC is already calling for outright cancellation! but they will fail just like NEW PDP. Whats your view house! |
This people and their news self! They won't say" 10000 illegal immigrant enters Nigeria through numerous porous borders. But when the condition becomes unfavorable, less they return home ... you see such posts. |
A state governor marries four wives, each bears four children, that must attend best schools, best medical care, best cars, best...best..and best that! Each of the wives had to ride best car(s), live in best houses even has best office with their special assistants (employed without federal character consideration). A member of house of Assembly (State and Federal) and senators then Ministers, does to commissioners and local Government chairmen. Then the school heads, VC's etc. Now the picture is becoming clearer aiite? That is a problem. Occupying public positions should have code of practice. In China no civil servant is permitted 2 children. otherwise you loose your job and be sent to the village to farm. AFRICA! Study your problems and SOLVE it |

I remember the good old days, when culture is the pride of the people and the child belongs to the community. I remember few faces who went to University, Military, or work for the government...how we would sit in crowds and listen to their stories! their advices .... Everybody knows one another and is shaped by the value with which they are known. You talk about the Ebonyi rice, Ebonyi yam, Ada palms, Tomato Jos, Garri Ijebu, Ofada rice etc...these are different identities. Now what kind of news do we get from every quarters? hardly one week passes without kidnapping in Enugu, Robbery in Onitcha, Boko harram in Damaturu, rape in Oshun, Ogun and the O Os http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/11/26-yr-old-court-raping-strangulating-10-yr-old-cousin/! I am advocating for return to old good days...old good cultures. |

Ogun Police Parade Daredevil Robbery Gang Members Posted by: Deolu on October 29, 2013 A confessed armed robber who had terrorised Nigeria’s western states in the last few years was paraded by the Ogun State Police Command at the headquarters of the Special Anti -Robbery Squad (SARS), in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, on October 28, 2013, Monday. policemenThe robber who was identified as Adegoke Kasali was said to be the deputy to Abiodun Egunjobi, a.k.a. Godogodo who was arrested about two months ago in Lagos. The robber, who confessed to newsmen revealed that he had killed twenty seven security operatives and was the one that pulled the trigger that fell the former Ogun State Commander of Vehicles Inspection Officer, Yomi Bamgbose. The 32-year-old had terrorised the entire South West States, including Kwara and Kogi States. He was captured by the SARS operatives at Obele town, a community on the borders between Ogun State and Cotonou, Republic of Benin, on October 25, 2013, Friday. Three of the robbers were killed by SARS during the operation, while three others were arrested, while some of the bandits fled to an unknown direction. Other members of the robbery gang that were also paraded were identified as Kareem Mumuni, a.k.a. Baba Owo and Lawal Waliu, alias Ijoba. Mr. Ikemefuna Okoye, the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, stated that the gang was responsible for killing over 21 policemen in the region since 2011. The Police boss further stated that, a cache of arms and ammunition recovered from the gang include two AK 47 riffles, a Wealthier P22 pistol with 49 rounds of live ammunition, 55 live cartridges, two cut-to-size double barrel guns,100 rounds of live AK 47 ammunition, assorted charms and two packets of Lexomil tablets . The CP also informed that the gang included a female member, identified as Kemi Adesanya, a.k.a. Specia. It was not possible to parade her, as the female gang member was being treated at a hospital of the injuries she sustained during the gunfight with the policemen. Mr. Okoye also stated that the suspects were also connected to hijack of a Range Rover Sport Jeep from a popular Fuji musician, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma last August along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway. The notorious robber, Adegoke Kasali, who is physically challenged due to burns he claimed to have sustained since his childhood said he regretted his involvement in crime. “This is the work of the devil. I cannot say why I’m into armed robbery. It’s beyond my comprehension. I’ve lost count of the policemen I have killed, but they can’t be less than seven. I was also part of the gang that killed the four vigilante service men and three petrol attendants in Ifo. That day we operated with Godogodo, Godogodo was our boss and he hated seeing policemen. We also killed two people at the Baptist Church in Sango Ota. I want to advise those still engaged in armed robbery to give up. I have been in this job in the past seven years”, Kasali stated. Eya....Eya.....Eya! Sentimental NairaLanders. Nobody would ask....What really killed Goldie? Just Eyaaaaaah. How would our future artist learn from her ordeal! and avert reoccurrence |
the order doesn't really matter! I quite agree with the quote " evil triumph because good men do nothing" I found honest administrations under fire from some disgrunted politicians and their element on NL. And have taken it up, in my way to voice out and be heard! So that I satisfy my conscience. |
Pls don't make a joke out of this trend! IfU've got nothing meaningful to contribute then shut the F^^K up! |
Going by the defination of assistance, Sambo is just the square peg in that square hole! |
Since NairaLand is a forum where minds can be expressed freely, permit me to say that Nigeria has begun to get things right. From petite example....for years we had been fielding overaged players for U-17 tournament. Even though we most times went on and won....But something inside me feels sad about that! It simply says "we don't have hope for the future". Could you believe we have been struggling to qualify for AFCON?. There was a time when you look at the recruitment process into the military, paramilitary and the rest....you loose hope in the country because you wonder whether such people recruited through dubious means can really stand and defend the country in time of need. When you look at the quality institutions that turn-up teachers and the quality of teachers turned up! you hiss. Is it the quality of the Airports, or the staff there! But now from the signals am seeing and level of consciousness I can bet ... we are poised for the better! So in that line I want you to list, candidly (no politiking here), ministers, stakeholders, public and private office holders you/someone around you feels their work. GEJ Manu Garba U-17 Coach Stephen Keshi Stella Oduah AKINWUMI AYODEJI ADESINA,Min. of Agriculture you may add |
ASUU should stop meddling with Nigerian politics. From all indications ASUU has been hijacked by the opposition. |
He's better off a talk-show presenter! |
Agreement my foot! did the rot begin now? Why such "take-it-or-leave-it" approach to solution! This ASUU is behaving like a spoilt child! Whereas they should be partners in development! ASUU my foot. |
OP Stop misleading us please! We're tired of these your destructive news. |
God keep doing HIS things! Scientists and engineers keep trying to explain |
Definitely when Nigerians are drumming support for you! then know you're the worst human ever..... thats best explains the rot in our system. But when you're being referred to as "a retardeen" "weak" "fool" and the likes just as GEJ then ride on because you're on track. |
JudismphD: The Nigeria state is a huge enterprise. Time for the police to milk the struggling public after being scheme out by road safety and VIO. Some set of criminal salamander will just wake up one morning and their satanic agenda is to further strangulate Nigerians. When have anybody visit a police station and see a computer set at display even at the DPO office? What u see is a portait of jonathan and Abubakar dangling on the wall, guns, lanten and group of desperate men and women. This is the same police teaching Nigerians advance computing! What have you contributed to this topic? what are you saying! ...that the process should be ditched? When you answer these questions the I will conclude my assessment of you. |
great1: 2:51amgreat1, I just modified my post! am actually quoting the author. Please modify yours. Thanks |
[/quote]Nigerians must realize that voting for Jonathan come 2015 is a vote for more money in the hands of those who have wronged and robbed Nigerians of our God-given resources. Please state your true intention and don't hide under unverifiable claims. If he has been awarded the security contract, then probably he truly deserves a jet for proper surveillance. |
This Man is just smarter than he looks! Thats a right move GEJ, focus on delivering dividends of democracy. When the time is right, your works will campaign for you. Love you....Love Nigeria |
I Love that girl/lady Maupe Ogun of Channels TV. So am gonna give it to Channels |
Lets analyze this news CRITICALLY! "The robbery suspects were arrested while attempting to rob Bolatito Hotel, Kola Bus Stop, Ijaiye, Lagos" Attempting to rob a HOTEL! What do they mean by that...grey area here. Contradiction 1 "whereas the police said that their mission was allegedly to rob a male customer of the hotel" sounds more likely. How can 7-man robbery gang embark on robbery expedition on a HOTEL with 2-locally made gun? "they suspected some people around the hotel" ....."The law enforcement agents were said to have surrounded the hotel, and later searched all its occupants. It was in the process that two locally made guns and 12 live ammunition were recovered from the robbery suspects." hehehehe something fishy here. People suspected around the hotel turn to be occupants ! whizzzzzzzzzz. And here is the bomb! "It was in the process that two guns and 12 live ammunition were recovered in Chioma’s car." which two guns and 12 ammunitions are we talking about here! the one found when the occupants were searched? blushhhhhhhhhh. "Chioma claimed that she graduated from UNILAG in 1999, was called to the bar in 2000, and owns a Non-Governmental Organisation, Youth of All Nations Empowerment Association."...of what importance is this to the robbery story! This news is orchestrated and sponsored believe me we haven't heard the least. Conclusion! This post has some hate connotations. |
Having followed the politics of Nigeria from May,1999 till date, it seemed he is a VP quite like no other. Your views of him house! |
R.I.P. to the dead. Will never loose sleep on such issues. Its part of the mentality change we must imbibe...crossing such a busy road when pedestrian bridge has been provided. If I may ask, is there a provision for pedestrian crossing? If no then why would an educated person ever imagine direct crossing. |
Hmnnnn....a sad one here. Kemi, at 21, a fashion designer in a western education-crazy environment. hmnn maybe she's not bright as a student(so couldn't secure admission for higher education) ouch...a painful one,ve been there before. understand what it feels like. Maybe that boy might have told her, at the last quarrel "you short, fat, and ugly b**ch, was just managing you"....too bad. But whom could she have run to for advice. Certainly, not the mother....and ...and she called me a failure(which, apparently not different from her judgment of self). Kemi! you should have talked to GOD. |
