TAIPEI 101
The Taipei 101 was world's tallest building from 2004- 2010. It was formerly known as Taipei World Financial center. The Taipei 101 is currently world's fourth tallest building. Located in xinyi district Taipei, Tiawan, the building accommodates commercial offices. It height 508m (1667ft) and has 101 floors. Construction of the Taipei 101 began in 1999 and was completed in 2004. The Taipei 101 cost 1.9 billion USdollars.

SHANGHAI WORLD FINANCIAL CENTRE The Shanghai World financial centre located at Pudoung Shanghai China was second tallest building in the world as at September 14th 2007 (1614ft.) During which it was also the tallest building mainland China.It is currently the fifth tallest building in the world. It is a multi purpose skyscraper with Offices, Hotel, Museum and parking garage. The skyscraper has 101 floor and presently measures 494.3m (1621.ft) Koln Pederson Fox did the architectural design, construction started on the 27th of August 1997 and was completed on the 28th of August 2008. The Shanghai World Financial Centre cost 1.2 billion USdollars.

In all, some are amazingly tall and remain exceptional. Such elevated structures are mainly found in Asia and by 2020, about 18 of the 20 tallest building would also be from the continent.

Without much ado, here are the five tallest buildings in the world and there location.

THE BURJ KHALIFA
The Burj Khalifa located in Dubai,United Arab Emirate (UAE) is presently the World's tallest building, a title it has maintained since 2010. The Burj Khalifa is 829.8m (2,722ft), it has 154
Usable floors. The architectural design was done by American Engineer, Adrian Smith who also designed The Kingdom Tower (next world tallest building.) The construction of the Burj Khalifa began in January 2004 and was completed on the 30th of December2009. The Burj Khalifa cost 1.6 billion US dollars.

THE MECCA ROYAL CLOCK TOWER HOTEL
The Mecca Royal Clock Tower Hotel also know as The Abraj Al-Bait Tower is currently the second tallest building in the world. It is located in Mecca, Suadi Arabia and measures 601m (1972ft). The building serve mixed purpose I.e Hotel,Residential. The architectural work was done by David Nunn while the construction lasted for eight years ( 2004-2012)
The building which has over 120 floors holds the largest clock surface in the world measuring 43m x 43m (141ft x 141ft). The Abraj Al- Bait tower cost 15billion US dollars

ONE TRADE CENTER
One Trade Center other wise known as 1WTC is the third tallest building in the world. It is however the tallest building in the United
States of America and the entire Western hemisphere. The building which serve office, observation and communication purposes is located in Manhattann New York. It's height to the tip is 546.6m (1792ft). The 1WTC has 104 floors and cost 3.9 billion US dollars. Construction started April 2006 and was completed november 2014.
