"In the last three official games we have finished with nine or 10 men. I have to try to adapt to a new system and to anticipate this situation of playing with nine or 10 men in the next game." - Conte |

Conte told Sky Sports: “Matic knows very well what I think about him.
The importance of this player, who is really good player, a top player, very important for our team.
“But sometimes you must accept this crazy transfer market.
And sometimes you must accept different decisions.
“But he is a great loss for us.”
.........
Obviously the Serbian wall was sold against Conte's decision.
Enough said. |

Nihilist: Lol
Not worth it for football. Not worth it at all.
Im not a religious person, but in the days when I used to go to church, my pastor said something that I actually grabbed hold of.
He said that at a game of football, of the thousands of people at the stadium, only 22 of them are there to achieve their destiny in life. The others just paid for the privilege of watching those 22 people make it.
Now imagine breaking bottle on somebody's head and injuring or maybe even killing him over a football match. You may get arrested. You may go to jail. You may lose your life.
But those 22 people carry on achieving their dreams. They don't care what's happened in a little corner of Aba and how one of their fans life is more or less over.
They just carry on winning- cos win or lose, these footballers only ever win.
I usually disregard anything that comes out of a church, but that comment my pastor made in 2006 or 7 has stuck with me since. This sort of admonition dey my head by default. I avoid those brawl cos i know they are never worth it. Yesterday's was the first and would probably be the last. Chelsea were losing three nil at half-time for the first time in the history of EPL, I am sure that wouldn't play out again. |

I believe the ediot who got a piece of me was actually a manyoo fan. Dude was on a mission to make my day miserable and my bottle of beer a bad one to sip. His misyarns got serious that i had to grab a bottle, could have landed that thing on his head had it been my pal never held me back. |

t's never a good feeling watching your team lose 3nil at half-time, against an incompetent referee and an ediot who is talking craps beside you.

Hazard, Bakayoko, Moses and Pedro have all been ruled out of tomorrow's clash with Burnley at the bridge.
In their absence, I believe this is what we should expect from the Don:
Courtois
Rudiger Luiz Cahill (c)
Azpilicueta Kante Fabregas Alonso
Willian Batshuayi Morata
Not too a bad line-up IMO but let's not get our hopes high on a high-scoring fixture. With Hazard and Pedro, our best attacking outputs and crucial architects of counter-attacking situations out of the game, this already looks like a game that would go down to the wire.
Sean sets up his team to frustrate a perceived greater opposition, so tomorrow's game might not contain a lot of spark. That said, I believe the squad up there has what it takes to squeeze out a win.
Verdict: 2-0 |

FBS: 1. heck, he might as well do that. at least folks will know that he is trying. 2. how many did he create for himself? And the few times he got the ball, what did he do with it? NOTHING! 3. It is insane and wrong to blame everyone EXCEPT Torres. No striker in the world is spoon-fed anymore. A student cannot say because he has no Montblanc pen, therefore he can decide not to write an exam. He is sure going to fail. No excuse his valid for Fernando. Any team relying on FT to win titles will be relegated. Football is a team sport and Torres is NOT helping his team. All the way from Russia, comes a concerned Chelsea fan. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Griffon: 9:12pm On Aug 09, 2017 |
coogar: you are a tool..... hernandez receiving the ball is based on delivery(i have never seen MAZACAR hit a 30 yard pass directly into torres' feet) then you mentioned anticipation? what's anticipation? are you aware these players actually train everyday of the week and they work tactics. hernandez upfront with his midfielders deep in their half - of course, he knows any long ball would be aimed at him and he has a chance of scoring because he has at most 2 markers or one marker to beat!
with torres - na lie! even when ramirez wins the ball, he travels with the ball - delays the pass or gives it to MAZACAR cos ramirez does not trust his precision/accuracy with the long pass. MAZACAR then delays the pass even further with sëxy touches - all this while, the defence has reorganised itself and torres has been crowded out - even if he receives the ball by now, he would run into a clusterfuck of defenders and the chance is lost!
football is not ambiguous to analyse - only tools blame torres for misfiring. if hernandez were to be a chelsea player - he would struggle to score 5 goals all season and he would be the media scapegoat till he's sold to swansea! the bottom line is - every striker has its own unique attribute - it's up to the midfielders to find what works with their centre forward.....unfortunately, MAZACAR haven't found how to get the best out of torres!
go and watch euro 2012 again and compare xavi's passes to torres with the dross he gets @ chelsea.
dayo, study those gifs i posted...... use your church mind to measure the position of the ball when the final ball was made. the range is between 25-55 yards from goal. you really think those passes are coincidence? seriously? these things have been drilled in training - why haven't we seen a long pass from MAZACAR to torres and we are 33% of the season gone already? is that torres fault too? He wasn't a Chelsea fan, but he led the Pro-Torres riot. One of my favourites posters here. |
