i had an aurguement with my friend and he said that sir alex ferguson does not like black players. I mentioned some black players in man utd. I even said Evra and Ferdinand are Ferguson's captains but he said no. He said that; to the white man, there is a diff btw the likes of jamaine defoe and black africans.
I have not been to the UK before so i dont know. For those of you who have been to europe or america i want to hear from you.

For me, the ones who should be making noise in this country are the north particularly the north central and lagos. Lagos becos the financial sector which is the most active part of the economy is centered in lagos. The financial sector draws its strength from the strength and resilience creativity which is the hall mark of lagosians. North central becos, 60 per cent of the food we eat in naija is produced in this region and agriculture is a product of human strength.

@ last poster. The vatican is for catholicism not becos they are repulsive to other faith but becos:
1. There is no land for other buildings which is not the case with stadium arabia oh sorry saudi arabia.
2. The whole of the vatican is church while the same thing cannot said of stadium arabia. Oh sorry for that mistake. Its just like other people coming to build some other buildings in a mosque compound.
3. The holy see and christianity are inseparable which is not the case with islam and saudi. It is becos christianity exists that the holy see exists. Note that i didnt say vatican instead i said holy see. But the same thing cannot be said of islam and meccah

what you have said is not true. You dont have to be married to know anything about marriage. Just as you do not need to have sex to know anything about it. becos few words are similar does not mean two tribes are related. It is important to note that there are thousands of dissimilar word in the two languages. If few similar word draw two tribes together, then thousands of dissimilar words should also make clear the difference.

it is not true to say that the idoma people are related to the igbos just becos some words sound alike. It is important to know that there are more words that are dissimilar than there are similar words. There are more hausa influence in idoma than igbos similarity and the igalas have the most similarities with idoma than any other tribe. That is not so suprising any way becos the two tribes are brothers. We even bear the same names eg: Idoko, Omale, Ojoh, Omele, Iganya, Okoh, Ochai, Ogbe, Ele etc.

other notable idomas are black face, 6ft+, bongos ikwe, david mark. We are a good people. We also share boundry with igala, tiv and some people in nasarawa state.

why do you think there is this negative feeling toward your org especially from christians? Why do you think christians term amorc and the trditional religions 'demonic'? of course we cannot say it is because of diff in philosophy and theology. Afterall christians do not see islam and judaism as demonic even though there are differences between them. But when it comes to esoteric orgs and traditional religions, the case besomes different.

this has made some people (nigerians first and then other people) to develop a negative feeling toward the country.

but the question is, is the greatness of a country measured by the number of challenges it has got, or by its achievements. prior to independence, nigeria had been at the fore front of liberation struggle on the continent and when liberation was achieved, and the continent was faced with a new problem war, nigeria was at the centre of peace keeping. they did this not minding the cost. nigeria continued to send troops even when it is not reasonable in cost.

before now, people do see africa as a 'dark continent' a continent not capable of intellectual ability. They say we do not have a history or culture. It was Nigeria that changed all of that ignorance among non Africans when chinua achebe came up with his ‘things fall apart’ the first African lit of its kind. This helped inspire other Africans to start writing and now we have generations of African writers.

nigerians in all capacity continue to serve africa in so any areas without getting any thing in return.
no african country has ever given nigeria anything yet nigeria has given all to the continent.
and what do we get in return? hatred and disrespect.
