bennyraz: Ibo's need to respect their host states because when you see a yoruba man in your state, he would adhere and respect the laws of your land and your people. Who knows maybe that's why hausas in the north keep on killing ibos in the North and the remaining ibos in the north have refused to find their way home (south-east) because they believe were they are is better than going back home! In kano, what effrontery does an ibo man have to say that Kano is a no man's land or even in kaduna an half hausa state or even in sokoto or Niger state? is it because Yoruba's have been so welcoming and accommodating that is why you all feel free to insult the land! if the traditional rulers in the south-west invoke oro on you, do you know that it will be labelled as genocide against the yorubas!the truth is, we are very accomodating and lets us continue to live in peace with one another and other tribes should not fail to respect their host states

Last time I had to get a visa from a Nigerian embassy to travel to Nigeria.
Reason: Visa to 'foreigners' visiting Nigeria takes 1hour.
Nigeria Passport renewal takes unknown to forever to minimum of 2 weeks and 2 trips to the embassy!

I do not think all the 36 governors, all the 108 senators, all the 360 house of rep members and even all ministers, heads of parastatals and agencies went to Abuja to pay condolence visit to patience. I am not even sure Fashola went to Abuja to console madam president.

I think the visit of Amaechi's wife coupled with the condolence message from the rivers state government should be enough.

Madam president is taking her beef with Amaechi to far. If governors have to pay condolence visits any time a relation of the president and his wife or those of the senate president, speaker, other governors dies, then i doubt there would be time left for governance. And we have not even started talking about the elaborate burial ceremonies that usually span 3 days.

cost of hotel abroad.

If you do a good job (mansion) then your children will never have to do it again!

What is the problem with that

Last time she made it official and told Amaechi he should not have said 'demolish' (added you should talk to the people and dialogue with them) and the small boy Amaechi left the entourage and sat in the class-room. Even his wife came to beg him and he refused. Before anybody talks: it was live on TV and I personally watched it!
