surugede: yes i use AC, but going by the distance a cover per day (Ajah to VI) even with the AC, I still find spendig close to 40k on fuel on the high side.

Please where can I go for the car scan within Ajah - VI axis.

@scanthecar, there is no "service engine soon" light on the dash board
try to trigger the CEL by not properly closing your gas tank and starting the engine. If the light doesn't come on it night have been disconnected by someone or the connection is short. You can also post a picture of ur current instrument cluster while the vehicle is started.

sherif1: Dean vs his University Students
ONE NIGHT 4 UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WERE BOOZING TILL LATE AT NIGHT AND DIDN’T STUDY FOR THE TEST WHICH WAS SCHEDULED FOR THE NEXT DAY.

IN THE MORNING THEY THOUGHT OF A PLAN. THEY MADE THEMSELVES LOOK AS DIRTY AND WEIRD AS THEY COULD WITH GREASE AND DIRT.

THEY THEN WENT UP TO THE DEAN AND SAID THAT THEY HAD GONE OUT TO A WEDDING LAST NIGHT AND ON THEIR RETURN, THE TYRE OF THEIR CAR BURST AND THEY HAD TO PUSH THE CAR ALL THE WAY BACK AND THAT THEY WERE IN NO CONDITION TO APPEAR FOR THE TEST.

THE DEAN WAS A JUST PERSON SO HE SAID THAT YOU CAN HAVE THE RE-TEST AFTER 3 DAYS. THEY SAID THEY WILL BE READY BY THAT TIME.

ON THE THIRD DAY THEY APPEARED BEFORE THE DEAN. THE DEAN SAID THAT THIS WAS A SPECIAL CONDITION THAT ALL FOUR WERE REQUIRED TO SIT IN SEPARATE CLASSROOMS FOR THE TEST.

THEY ALL AGREED AS THEY HAD PREPARED WELL IN THE LAST THREE DAYS. THE TEST CONSISTED OF 5 QUESTIONS WITH TOTAL OF 100 MARKS:
MID SEMESTER COURSEWORK EXAMINATION
INSTRUCTIONS:

All questions are compulsory.

Any inconsistencies on any of the questions among the four Students will result in all the candidates getting a zero mark.

Q.1. Write down your name—– (2 MARKS)

Q.2. Write the name of the bride and bridegroom at the wedding you attended—– (30 Marks)

Q.3. What make is the car you were in. —— (20 Marks)

Phones › Re: Glo Guzzles My Airtime Every Night!! Pls Help!!! by gulfer: 8:10am On May 26, 2012
cooldipo: I dread the night each time I have airtime left on my phone. I'm not a money bag, so am mindful of my pennies. I realise that most nights about N30 is usually deducted from my account but of late now, the inglorious act has escalated. I woke up to a neatly wiped account. I have emailed Glo customer care 3 times this week already with something close to an automated response promising my complaint will be looked into. I have also logged my complain on their web portal and lastly this morning, I put a call across to their customer care and after about 30 mins wait, I was connected and their representative tried to push around the blame but am convinced I didn't put up for any long throat package. He later told me the machine he could have used to check my transaction is not running at the moment and that I should call back. Is anybody going through the same harrowing experience? Do we have anybody that can help proffer solution in the house? Please note: I don't intend to change to another network, I just want this headache fixed. Thank you for your time and anticipated response!
Call the customer care again and insist they tell you if you're subscribed to any of their plans. I do not suffer such deductions on my GLO line and don't even pick any of their automated calls..
Romance › Re: A True Life Story Of A Lonely Woman by gulfer: 8:02am On May 26, 2012
Here is an old 2003 story of a young lady. She died in her Woodgreen North London Flat. No one discovered her until after 3 years. lived alone and she died alone on her settee, no loved ones, no friend, not even a knock on her door in 3 years, her TV was on for every single day of those 3 years. in her Woodgreen North London Flat. A film is out telling her story. Someone was kind enough to show me a snippet & it tells the story of how sometimes we are in our own little closet and never care about those around us, we no longer knock on doors, ask if our neighbours are doing ok or even say hello. It is more troubling for people in the diaspora, away from your loved ones, the TV becomes the companion, your well paid job takes priority. Life is about people and our today is meant to be shared.
So sad cry and I am sometime guilty of boldened part.......
Sports › Re: How The Late Rashidi Yekini Blew N60 Million In 60 Days by gulfer: 7:34pm On May 25, 2012
In March, 2009, he was said to have fixed the balance of N52 million for another three months. At maturity, however, the late Yekini started the N1 million per day withdrawals, until he emptied the accounts.

The late Rashidi, as he was fondly called by his admirers, was always seen at the bank because the account was a savings account. The account, it was learnt, became dormant early 2010.

One of the late Yekini's siblings, Mrs. Rafiat Adetunji, who spoke with The Nation in Ira, confirmed that there was no money in his account as at the time teh family took him for treatment.

She said family members got to know about Yekini's strange behaviours when some of his neighbours in Ibadan complained.
Rafiat stated that she went in company of her husband and some of the family members to authenticate the veracity of the information and seek for a way to assist the football star.

She said when their efforts to take Yekini to a hospital in Oyo State failed, they sought the assistance of the then Oyo State Police Commissioner, Adisa Bolanta.

Politics › Re: Driver Sent To Prison For Blocking Fashola’s Convoy by gulfer: 11:23am On May 25, 2012
Ngwakwe: This same thing happened in Owerri as one of the Power Bike riders escorting Gov. Rochas was hit by a Jeep to the extent of been unconscious and was rushed to the hospital. The Governor stopped to know the true cause of the accident and to hear the Jeep driver side of the story. To cut the story short the man told the Governor that he was passed by the security light which was still showing green.

That was all, no arrest, no detention, and no question like didn't you hear the siren, the man continued his journey
I hear you! Is blocking the road same as ramming into a traffic light violating governor's escort? These are poles apart, i am sure if these Fashola's security details were some from other states they would have opened fire on the broken down truck with the excuse that it could have been a road block set up to attack or kidnap the escorted person (Governor). Fact is the offender was arrested only based on lacking those valid documents and the only hyped it to sell their paper with Fashola's name as the 'CATCH' if you understand what i mean.
