Few questions you need to ask yourself before going further:

1. How did the vehicle come into the country?
2. Why wait for a period close to one year before registering a car or are you a dealer who has decided to use?
3. Did you report the missing documents to the police station? And most important,
4. What could have made your brother to abscond after having problems with his 'Clients'?
Lastly, post the VIN number on this forum
Politics › Applicant Gets 1 Month For Wearing Shoes In Mosque-(this Is The Absurd)! by gulfer(op): 2:55pm On Nov 30, 2011
Abuja – A 32-year old applicant, Ahmed Hassan, has been sentenced to one month imprisonment by an Abuja Senior Magistrates’ Court for wearing shoes into a mosque in Nyanya.

The Senior Magistrate, Mrs Nkwadimi Buba, however, gave Hassan an option of N2,000 fine.

Earlier, the police prosecutor, Cpl. Silas Nanpan, had told the court that the crime was reported to the Nyanya Police Station on Nov. 26 by one Umar Safe of Tipper Garage, Nyanya.

Nanpan said that the convict on Nov. 25 trespassed into the mosque and lay down there with his shoes on, knowing that the act was un-Islamic.

The convict could not give a satisfactory account of his action, he said, adding that the offence of criminal trespass contravened Section 348 of the Penal Code.

When the case came up for mention, Hassan pleaded guilty to the charge but begged the court for leniency.

Delivering judgment, Buba sentenced the convict to one month imprisonment with an option of N2,000 fine. (NAN)

Senegal struck twice in the first half and hung on for a 2-1 win over Nigeria during a group A encounter on Tuesday n night in Tangiers. The match started off at a sluggish pace as the teams were slow out of the blocks and played at an almost pedestrian pace.
The monotony broken in 34th minute by a Kara Mbodji’s looping header from a delivery on the left flank. There was much between the two sides at that stage although the lanky Khaliloulah Seck had started controlling the midfield threading threatening balls to the flanks. The goal allowed the Senegalese to settle into a rhythm and they were lively and rattled the Nigerians.
Long balls played into the Senegalese box intended for the Nigerian forwards were cut off by the taller defenders.
In the 42nd minute Abdoulaye Sane went on a mazy run and his shot on target was blocked but fortunately bounced back to him to side foot past Muniru Ajiboye at his near post for Senegal’s second goal.
A shell-shocked Nigeria upped their game and went close with header from Gbolahan Salami.

There had been not much in the way of quality before the goals but second half brought about better football. Stephane Badji let go a powerful volley but Ajiboye acrobatically tipped it away for a corner. A few minutes after that Nigeria strung some neat passes venturing into Senegal penalty box but the final shot sailed wide. In the 49th minute a through ball played towards Senegalese goal brought about a chase and Daniel Uchechi managed to push the ball underneath goalkeeper Ousmane Mane as he rushed out.

It was the Nigerians in ascendancy and they peppered the opposition’s goal looking for the equalizer with Kayode Orlarenwaju and substitute Marshal Odah probing from the wings. One such move had saw Salami break through into the box but took the wrong option when he went for goal instead of setting up his fellow waiting strikers.
At the other end Badji ‘s pace and power was troubling Ewoma Ojobo and in the 68th minute he almost increased his team’s lead with a hard shot that was tipped on to the cross bar by Ajiboye and it bounced back into play. The lively pattern of the second half continued with both sides really going for it, keeping the two goal-minders busy.

As the legs got tired both sides missed glaring opportunities with substitute Romeric Lopy side footing straight into Ajiboye’s hands from a few meters out and at the other end a miss-controlled effort from Salami allowed the ball past the upright as he tried to divert it into goal.
The brave effort by the two teams to get more goals ran out of time and at the final whistle it was Senegal celebrating after picking up their first three points with a game against Morocco’ still to come and Nigeria now plays Algeria in their final group game on Friday 2nd December in Marrakech.

[quote author=Ileke-IdI link=topic=814180.msg9660376#msg9660376 date=1322621766]A Year Later, But Still We Remember. The Heart Is Still Heavy.

[size=18pt][b]It took 21 years to leave your mark on this earth, but took only a day to sleep under it.
If I had the ability to foresee the horrible circumstance that befell you, I would have saved you from taking that last breath.
A year later, I still remember you, Olubusayo Awomolo.
Even as the tears continue to flow we still remember.

The day they called me to tell me tell me about this tragic event, I denied it. It just couldnt be true. Even staring at your picture on the news had me denying it. "Maybe it was a mistake" "Maybe you were wounded, but you still survived". This is one of the things we watch on the news, yet just skip along the channels. I couldnt believe it. And I still dont believe it.
NLers, we should ask ourselves why the good die and the bad continue to overpopulate this earth.
Why would the world want to destroy someone so calm, so friend, so helpful, so brilliant and yet so humble in all sorts of ways.
It took me a while to actually admit that you were gone. I called just to listen to your "weird" voicemail until. . . .I always wondered why you rushed to complete your voicemail greeting. I guess I now know. We must all rush to do what we can, because we do not know when we'll take our last breath.

A saying goes like this: Live like there is no tomorrow.
Now I know.

Your death made me question my religion, made me question my God. You made me question the existence of this world. You made me question reality.
How could a loving God take you so far away, to a place where communication can forever be lost?
If God was so loving, how could he be so unkind?

They ask me why I cry for you, since you're not family. I tell them I cry because family does not have to share blood because there is a sacred family-ness in friendship. It's hard to explain to them that you were my little brother, why you see yourself as my elder. Now, who is going to demand that I call him oga?
You were kind to me as you were kind to others. You respect others as you wished to be respected.
You cherished the little the world has to offer. And the world cherished you. . . . and will continue to.

This very very very sad day, your life was snuffed out as if you had little significant to the world. What a irony that was. You were the significance that made the world revolve.

If I and many who are not your family could hurt this much, I wonder how your family can go on. I wish them the best, I wish them the greatest, and I wish them continuos heavenly gift for breeding a gentlemen like you. After knowing you, I can say that I'm amongst the few to have known a true godly reflection. You showed me that religion does not necessarily make us good and righteous, we ourselves determine what we are and what we can become.

Well, I miss you. I miss your jokes. I miss your calmness. i miss how annoying you could be. I miss how helpful you were. I miss how ready you were to help. I miss your altruistic behavior. I miss your sexist joke. I miss everything about you.

I had a brother in you. I had a friend in you. I had guidance in you. I had godliness in you.
We've never met, yet you've been more of a guidance angel than those I've met.
Who would sit me through those equations that I did not understand. Who would explain things in a less boring manner?
I fell and almost give up. You knocked me down and showed me how to look up at the world while standing up. Then you helped me up.
Well, you know, the world does look different. Sometimes, you have to stay down to see the world in a way you couldnt see it while standing up.

I wish you well on your journey. May you never walk alone.
Ti Olorun ti se, ti olorun ti gbo, it Olorun la se! Asheee!

isited your mechanic today. He advises i buy the car. I`m leaving for cotonou today to get it. However, he says i`d hve to pay twice when bringing the car down. first i`ll pay right there at the park(about 70k naira), then i`ll take it to the nigerian customs where i`ll pay about the same amount. i`ll have to leave the car there at the customs office so they can prepare my papers and then come back for the car the next day. How true is this? As i`m planning on getting two vehicles for myself?
Thank GOD you are getting two vehicles for yourself, are you certain you are not just a show off on this forum?
