Guys, I am sure you must have at one time or the other passed through the railway crossing from Mushin-Olosa to access Ikorodu road, there is a toll gate- mini Lekki concessionaire (a serving house of rep member owns this). This has been on for God knows how long and nobody has ever complained. Lagosian nay Nigerians will never go back to the type of protest we had during the June 12. Like someone said; as long as he can afford it, what the HELL is the demonstration for because police regualrly extort drivers without anything returned. He is ok with a good stretch of road that the concessionarie is tolling for.

For NLders to help, you need to put in more details as in when, where and how. It will also help if you have the pix also. Sorry for the trauma and i pray it is recovered.

MILAN 2-Genoa 0; Nocerino and Ibracadabra(pen). If we can keep it steady, Milan will retain the Serie A.

Two top ranking police officers lost in a week and not in the line of duty. While Sunday Bada's death (https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?topic=823833.msg9757382#msg9757382) may be forgivable as it was not directly linked to any indiscretion but this Dawodu guy surely has brought the police to direpute. I propose he tried for gross misconduct even in death and the woman-police officer tried for man(sexslaughter-the death was a direct result of vigorous sex grin)slaughter. The policemen on the checkpoints regularly brought down by hoodlums are the real policemen and deserve more respect.

Mine are just words of caution as i have followed Milan since the 1989. Most of our losses on the continent have been due to complacency; not utilizing our strong points which is organisation and creativity. Check the 4-0 defeat to deportivo and the champions league final loss to Liverpool.

Bankers, nay all those in financial sector have had it good for so many years until now. Prudence was never their watchword and now that these bank (keystone et all) are under regulatory watch, you can only expect such groaning. Banks should have a structured rate to avoid this type of issues. Change in mgt should never have affected the workforce.

I insist that speed is not our fort. Milan can only improve on stamina and raise alertness to sneaky moves from the gunner speedstars. If you check most of the Milan players' statistics, apart from Pato and Boateng; others are average in speed, FORZA MILAN.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: The AC Milan Thread: 2021/2022 Serie A Champions! by gulfer: 9:09pm On Dec 16, 2011
Milan must be careful against the gunners; we cannot match them in speed but our experience will give us the ticket to the quarter finals and onto the final. I pray Pato stays injury free during this period.

Nigeria has never had a leader. We have only had lucky individuals that the power position gives authority. Their Intellects are never challenged before office assumption and we always find out later to have elected office-misfits. The VP debate actually brought this to the fore but we still went on and selected PDP.

40 Die In Rivers Boat Mishap

No fewer than 40 persons were feared dead on Tuesday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State when a passenger boat carrying 47 passengers capsized and emptied its human content into the Rumuolumeni River.
The unfortunate incident, according to reports happened around 9:30 pm while the boat was travelling from high-brow Eagle Island in the state capital.
The Rumuolumeni River passes through the back of the expansive premises of the Italian oil giant, the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC) to Iwofe, Port Harcourt.
Seven of the passengers, including a two-year-old baby, had so far been rescued, while divers, as at press time, were still combing the river for corpses of the victims.
Relatives of the victims have besieged the Rumuolumeni jetty; the Rivers State government-owned Braithwaite Memorial Specialist Hospital (BMSH), where corpse of one of the victims was deposited and other hospitals in Port Harcourt, for information on passengers of the ill-fated boat.

I know him as the DPO of the Ikoyi Police Station in the l9ne of duty. He was a genial officer. RIP. Excelled as both a sportsman and an officer. A question here; does the PSC do a compulsory annual health-check for its personnel? This death could have been prevented/postponed. RIP again officer!!!!

The one shaking hands with Fashola is holding a rifle in the other hand. Can they not leave the rifles out of an award ceremony? When robbers are around, you'll not see any of our police display their rifles, some even take off uniforms. Awards not deserved especially all those in blue, they do nothing but drink gulder and eat pepper soup.

The more you look the less you see, that is a confirmed Agege bread and no cassava bread. They should show the cassava bread processing from scratch. I was taken in at first but not anymore, Deceitful leaders, to think they will ever do anything that will be inimical to their health. Nigerians are already on Garri (cassava), Fufu and Apwu (cassava) and Rogo (cassava) and they should do everything to retain 100% wheat bread. This is another Subsidy removal.
