Sibrah: thats untrue. You are just assuming it. Nigerians are not running away because $1 goes for N1,700. They run away because they can earn in dollar and when converted gives them what they cannot earn within Nigeria. Not true,if the exchange rate is 1 dollar to 10 naira ,I bet you there will be no need for N8gerians to go overseas especially if they have a good job. |

papyjaypaul: Naira Re-Denomination Suspended If the leaders know what they are doing they should know the current exchange rate is responsible for making things expensive in the country and something needs to be done even if it is partial redomination of the currency. |

Sibrah: Single digit is not an achievement in anyway. It is a big achievement as more Ghanians will stay back in Ghana to make it grow with lesser brain drain. |

franugo: The Ghanaian cedis was redominated in 2007, almost 2 decades ago, I don't really think it factors here brother Exactly bro.Major countries did same too. I think they are just being myopic. |

Okoroawusa: 9 Cedis is 90000 Cedis. When Cedis was redominated in 2007, it was 10000 Cedis to USD. Four zeroes were removed to make it 1 Cedis to 1 USD. Now it has depreciated to 90000 Cedis and you are all clapping.
I never knew we had this much Gen Z on Nairaland.

koladata: Imagine an American naming their children Yoruba or Igbo names .... Why should a Nigerian name his or her child Thomas , the only thing left to us after slave trade is our names... STOP NAMING YOUR CHILDREN OYINBO NAMES... Give them an Identity, AFRICA will be the next big thing because if you are on the ground the only next option for you is to raise up. Exactly my point too. We should stick to our African names. |

Toosure70: no magic bro, Ghana is one of the major supplier of palm oil to Nigeria. Nigeria keep importing pineapples, cherry (agbalumo) and other foods from cotonu My friends in America and UK say you see made in Ghana products in supermarkets abroad and you can hardly see made in Nigeria products there. |

I think this is quite impressive as the Ghanian currency cedis is in hot pursuit of the dollar as 1 dollar is equivalent to 9 Ghana cedis. I also heard Yahoo boys are now flooding Ghana to bomb 💣 too.

Sincerely speaking most parents just gave their kids name as they saw other people also naming theirs. I feel due to their level of education, they didn't really think the name out. This mainly applied to those naming their kids an English name. There are several names to me that I feel are not really ideal though I may be wrong. For example naming your kid Thomas. Do you want your kid to be doubting in life like the Thomas in the bible or naming your kid Hope. So you want your kid to always be ☺️ hopeful. For how long will the child be hoping. Well ,I may be wrong. Just my thoughts. |

My neighbour slammed his head on the iron end and that was how he never did wrestling with us. Me It was until I slammed my head on the headboard that was when I stopped. One cousin bounced out of the bed and broke his hand. End of wrestling.

WizardOfNG: More idiocy. Do you know what, beyond any possible arguments, illustrates the strength of one currency in comparison to another? It is purchasing power parity.
Simple as that. You are ignorant and not very bright. You are one of those driven by hatred and bitterness alone.
I don't like to be ungracious to anyone or mock others but people like you deserve it because you don't check your hateful hearts before speaking.
You have no consideration for the feelings of others including the need to respect boundaries.
If you hate Nigeria, that is your problem. Never try to force others to join you , especially using desperate lies and ignorant postulations, in your hatred and bitterness towards Nigeria. Words coming from a paid ding bat. |
Politics › Re: Ghana Must Go People Now Mocking Nigeria by guobe(op): 12:29pm On May 28, 2025 |
WizardOfNG: Look above bro. I have done what I challenged you to do for ages yet you avoided said challenge in preference for contributing ridiculous images that mean nothing to those who do real, comparative and decisively informative data and statistics.
Argue with what I have shown above if you can or kindly remain silent from this point on. The more you talk, without countering what I have shown, that anyone can check and validate, the more you make it obvious your are an ignorant hater and bitter demarketer of Nigeria. So if the prize in UK is higher than Nigeria means Nigeria currency is better than the pounds. This job of defending is not easy sha.kpele.Man must survive. Please take screenshot and show your oga at the top as I just helped your work for today.
