Foreign Affairs › Re: US Lifts Decades-long Embargo On Arms Sales To Vietnam by GuyFawkes: 10:18am On May 23, 2016 |
Ho Chi Minh and his Viet Minhs were, along with the Filipinos, the only native peoples who fought the Japanese during WWII. In fact, Ho was a great admirer of the United States and sought America's support for freedom from the French after the war. When France demanded American support in its war against Ho as the price for joining NATO, America sided with the French and sowed the seeds for the Vietnam War.
Perhaps, maybe, possibly, an alliance with an "imperfect" Vietnam is another chance at a strategic alliance. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Canadian Island Offers Refuge To Americans If Trump Gets Elected by GuyFawkes: 8:15am On Feb 26, 2016 |
EnlightenedSoul: Yeah, people say that, but, unfortunately, I don't completely trust that a Trump nomination would necessarily ensure a sweeping win for HC, depending. I'd certainly hope so, tho. I like Sanders the best out of all of 'em, 'personably' speaking, but he's never been a strong candidate and his socialist stance makes the average American very wary of him. The fact that he looks like he's due to drop dead any second now doesn't help.
I remember that. You suggested it was probs a Breaking Bad type city or something, and I replied that it was Breaking Bad w/o the breaking nor the bad I hinted. You hit close. Cape Breton looks like a nice place to retire, is what. I reckon the present population probably consists alarmingly of older folk as it is. No young person would want to live in such a secluded place for long and evermore. You'd only but get positively bored, believe me. Btw, I finally saw D.C. Let's just say you were 1000% right. Y'all got nothing to fear from Trump . His rhetorics won't sell when it comes to a general election. Hillary ain't exactly Miss goodie goodie but she looks the sanest in the field, as for Uncle Bernie the "Socialist" maybe his young followers are hints America in the future might be veering to the left....i doubt it tho. True I hope he doesn't drop dead with all that energy he's generating. So you saw DC at last wow, so it fits my description? |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Canadian Island Offers Refuge To Americans If Trump Gets Elected by GuyFawkes: 6:04pm On Feb 25, 2016 |
EnlightenedSoul: That would be a disaster. Sanders has been running on low steam since the very beginning, and I'm not awfully confident of Clinton's ability to overcome at this point.
Nah, it's a red state alright, but, alas, not Arizona. I think you once told me you've been to Arizona? Well, Cape Breton looks beautiful, but as evidenced by the island's low population problem, that isn't enough to keep anyone anywhere. I'm certainly used to natural beauty myself, and I plan on leaving just as soon as I get my degree. Anyway, I suspect anyone who ends up there will end up leaving just as soon, or they'll have to pay them to live there like we do Alaskans here in the U.S. I thought Sanders started off on high steam, promising the youths REVOLUTION!!!. Whatever that is....seems like a nice guy anyway. If the GOP throws up Trump then my money is on a Clinton sweepstake. Can't remember where you at, but I know you told me a while back.... I hinted then something about Breaking Bad. I've not been anywhere aside from Eastern US. Cape Breton looks like my kinda ideal destination tho' but not usre about living there permanently. |

EnlightenedSoul: Oh, I know. But, man, I was floored when I read this a few days back. This election season has been something else
I don't believe for a second that he'd actually win the Republican nomination. But, hypothetically, were he to get it and H.Clinton the Democratic nomination, I'm 99% sure my state would vote Trump even despite general public disdain for him. I swear it's a strange election season, lots of loonies and clowns on the loose in the GOP especially. Me thinks Trump is looking very likely to be the GOP candidate as much as he's detested even in the parties establishment. Aren't you in Arizona? That's a red state anyway. |

I did not go to Iranu community school that is filled with touts like my dad. I went to a pathetic catholic pry school where I was sodomised.I was a very bad boy.

Nurses get to their Cadre bar at Chief Matron GL 14, which applied to when nurses mostly went to nursing and midwifery school. Many n nurses in public service now possess BSc Nursing hence the relevant bodies need to address that issue els they'll retire at level 14 also. |

But this one is not as creepy as it is intensely immersive and SUSPENSEFUL.
And to cap it, he's just 'flexing' with English. Such mastery.
Nothing supernatural in this one. However, the antagonist, Edgler Foreman Vess, is probably the MADDEST character ever created.
Intense... Bro It's on my to read list o. |

I am currently reading INTENSITY by Dean Koontz. It is simply marrafakn.
I don't want it to finish.
I stopped reading novels for than 10 years. What a fool.
I will pay you money to read Intensity, and maybe False Memory...
My God, Intensity is, for lack of words, is INTENSE! Dean Koontz gives you that eerie feeling Great author alongside Stephen King. |

Wasn't the Book of Mark the first Gospel written and it was like 100 years after the Christ's death. I think Matthew and Luke basically copied and revised his version, the book of John looks like someone's imagination ran wild. |
