It's obvious you reason from the hole behind your bum. If the useless mem who are the governors in your state and others were half as smart as Bola Tinubu or Fashola, there won't be such women as the example you gave trying to make ends meet in Lagos. You should instead be grateful that Laos has at least provided an opportunity for all those who come to make something out of their lives. Left to the bastards that rules over your states, many people would have died by now obataokenwa: |
Hi guys, I just carried out an Electronic Diagnosis of the Volvo V50 2008 model I want to buy. No error codes generated, only got a narration from the Inspector about Long-Term fuel trim. Anything I need to know and how to fix this issue? |
You are really low on IQ. You could have at least pretended to be smart, but no ego has mixed with your pathetic predicament. You clearly know nothing about the need to empower people. Not everybody will get that state or federal job, in fact the civil service will eventually be downsized due to automation. But young people can be empowered through such programmes as this. It becones a platform for them to develop themselves while impacting their immediate enviornment. They in turn grow and become employers of Labour. The cycle grows larger and then it trickles down more and more. The real backbone of any economy are the SME's and local entrepreneurs. GEJ did well with YOUWIN, this is a better and more-encompassing program. deepwater: |
Lagos gave Jude an opportunity to become better and successful in life. This clearly illustrate my opinion that Lagos made all of us. It's sheer stupidity for some people to claim that they made Lagos what it is today. Right from the late 19th century till now, Lagos has bee a bustling urban centre where everyone who came from the West, East, North and South had a great opportunity to become better and greater. It is only meet that the spend most of the money they had come to earn in the same Lagos. Anyone claiming they made Lagos should return to their villages to go and do the same magic. |

It's funny how you people are easily manipulated to swallow the deceit and machinations of wicked people. If you understand the evil politics people play in this country, you will know that all these killings are most probably sponsored by enemies of the state as false flag. Fine, Buhari is faulty at not taking them on fiercely, but I can tell you it is the evil work of wicked people who want to bring down this government and nation all because of their selfish interest for power and money. Can you ever imagine that Buhari will sanction the killing of anyone for power? Or even his own people in the Northeast and Zamfara? Look beyond the evil narratives being spread out there Kewtt: |
Modath's back. Yay! Now we can get more informed and intelligent submissions in the midst of all the endemic stupidity and ignorance that has become a trend on NL modath: |
I wonder how they will wrest the control of the party from Wike .Whoever doesn't accede to the Wiked one won't find it smooth in the party Ingocof: |
Some of you here on NL are seriously sick need urgent attention. You reek of chronic inferiority complex. I'm sure you can't bear to look at yourself in the mirror- what you see breaks your heart. The OP has shared this to bring the attention of the public to this case of shoddy job by a contractor so that it could also possibly get the attention of the state government. Rather than join to speak against the shoddy work and suggest solutions, you begin to point to other cases of flooding elsewhere. Only cowards point at other's plight to feel good in their own misfortune too. bestviewer: |
I'm planning to buy a clean tokunboh BMW 528i. Please I need good advice on the reliability, maintenance and possible challenges I will face using this car or maybe discarding the idea and get another model. Cc: Gazzuzz Kingreign |
It's pathetic that a lot of Nigerians are leaving for Canada and elsewhere. Until we all bond together to build this country for ourselves, it will be left crawling. The Canada they are running to was built by her citizens. We much build ours from scratch! Ehiscotch: |
A lot more road construction has been done in this Buhari era than at any other time. It seem there's a better sense of belonging by most governors than at any other time. Consider the number of flyovers that has been constructed by governors across different states and brand new roads too; and then the FG efforts at rehabilitating major highways in the SW, SE and other places; more railway projects... We seem to be getting it right in terms of delivery of projects by administrators, albeit very slow. Nigeria will be great again. God bless all the hardworking governors God bless PMB and his VP |
Your name says it all- Crude, uncultured jungle thinking you got. The Lagos projects is financed by the World Bank. The development of the BRT scheme and the intra-city light rails were all conceived based on research and recommendation by the World Bank which also provided funding. I'm just informing you and not trying to convince you because an Ape will never understand. Tarzan360: |
Our way of thinking in Nigeria needs to change. All these fanfare and ceremony we do when those in power execute projects makes them feel like they are Lords who do us favours with each project. It is good that they do what they are elected to do. But we the masses ought to know our place. Rather than jubilation, we should even be scrutinizing projects for costs and quality, comparing them with what peers are doing |
I dont know why Fayemi's name is being bandied around more tha n necessary over this vote-buying issue. Do you know that Fayose initially credited civil servants with N3k each; paid Bus drivers and okada riders N1,500 and N1, 000 respectively to park their vehicles so as to shut down Ado-Ekiti the day the President visited; and then the big box of cash that flew in from a South-South governor from which people got N4k each. Fayemi's party was only sharing N4,000 to N5,000 on election day. If you are raising this issue, point to both parties and stop crying Fayemi alone |
There's no end to your foolish conspiracy theories. Now according to you, Buhari is controlling the Catholic Bishop's Conference? kristonium: |
And what has the incumbent and his stooge done for Ekiti people to keep the loyal and committed to return their party to power? Owe them 7 months salary while still crediting their accounts with a paltry and shameful N3k to buy their conscience? Or the continued sharing of small packs of rice and N200 while they see what other states are doing for their people? What does Fayose and his stooge have to offer anymore? Except throw out lies that you their blind supporters will swallow and peddle around. escodotman: |
You are urgently in need of close monitoring. You have been bitten by rabid ipob pigs and you have lost every sense of reasoning and dignity. As your preferred candidate has lost his bid for the governorship seat, you shouldn't starting foaming in the mouth all over this thread escodotman: |
Phony! An Ipob now knows what's best for Yoruba people. Continue FortifiedCity: |
Gullible sloths above me. You didn't acknowledge the Judge's concern about Innoson's delay tactics. He must know that the outcome won't be favourable to him because of his dirty dealings and hence the need to slow down or frustrate the legal process through different dirty tactics both in court and on social media. Thieving Businessman. With all his good idea and great business ventures, he cant simply add honesty and integrity to his way of doing business? I ain't surprised sha |
It's up to you to carry out due research on any issue and topic before you jump on the bandwagon of victim mentality which easily demeans you as someone with a low self-awareness in spite of your education and exposure. Dangote tried to acquire NigerCem around the same time he acquired BCC in Gboko. A lot of issues and protests greeted his bid and here we are today. Even I eto didn't have it smooth taking over NigerCem, but you guys are always quick to castigate others fpr what clearly is a fault of your people. I won't post any link here, your search for correct info is also part of your learning process to become a sincere seeker of the truth. Seek for the truth always and be objective when analysing issues. cjrane: |

Yoruba people getting internationally recognized. Some months ago the Government of Israel honoured Obafemi Awolowo post-humously, now Mike Adenuga. Nice one. Nigerians are blessed. https://www.nairaland.com/4472415/israel-awards-late-awolowo-certificate |
Those are men of the Federal Guards Brigade. They are dressed in one of their ceremonial gabs; this particular one is a replica of the uniform of the Scotsguard, which is also copied by other Armies with British Colonial roots |

Shame to all those shouting Yoruba Muslim,Yoruba Christian. All the noise of division in Yorubaland falls to pieces with this news. A Muslim family donating a medical facility worth N100m to a Missionary Hospital. Kudos to the Sarumi Family |
The Egyptian Magicians copied all the wonders that Moses showed and yet they couldn't save Egypt from all the plagues. This magician cannot give Eternal life, if he likes turn water to wine. He can even walk on water if he likes |
It's sad that we are all culpable in the decadence that is still on-going in the next generation. The celebrities we praise and honour are the ones these young girls see as role models. Is there anything worth emulating in the lifestyles of Toke Makinwa, Tiwa Savage, Angela Okorie, Roman goddess, whiz kid, Davido, Sophia Momodu, Oge Okoye and the likes for the upcoming young girls? Yet these are the ones we all celebrate, all of us and the media. And when issues like these comes up, there's a lot of hue and cry while we forget that the very things we now give values to will also rub off on these young girls. Not that these celebrities are evil. But we have all unconsciously set them as a standard to the young ones who get easily deceived to submit to anything that we also make them influential and approved. |

Some goats here are quick to lay the blame at the feet of the present government. Senseless!!!. We are all bunch of lawless people in Nigeria. Make simple laws and the average Nigerian cannot keep to it. Enforce those laws, and the organisations like Police,LASTMA etc that should are simply useless. Even small Cotonou beside us here is better organises. It's not about their government. It's simply about the attitude of the citizens to simple laws and respect for authority |
