Kyari don go carry wood stump wey full with termite. This explains his frolick with all these funny guys - MC oluomo, Cubana and others. He does dirty jobs for them, helping them to deal with helpless victims.

Another lesson to be careful in doing business with a lot of Igbo guys. They are always looking for ways to take you out of the picture and be the one doing the business directly and call it business smartness. They can employ any dirty means to get you out of the picture including betrayal. Only few of them fear God and deal with honesty.

undecided Not to counter your argument, but you need to state the true situations about some of your points:

1. The Igbos are majorly christians but the rivalry between Anglican and Catholics has assumed a proportion bordering on the madness of the Shiite and Sunni debacle

3. The Igbos were under the constant raids of renegade Tiv warriors and bands of Jukuns from the northern fringes of the Oban hills. Add that to the fearsome domination of the Aros who subjected other Igbo tribes to their brutal raids and rule set up a thriving slave trade of their fellow Igbos.

The igbos like every other tribes are united by reason of the homogenity of culture and language. Only fools take pockets of disagreements on any issue to cite that Igbos or any other tribes are not united

Apart from spending money, Igbo men can't satisfy a woman like a Yoruba man would. Yoruba men are sweet talkers, romantic and naturally come with big d**ks. Which lady won't prefer that to a rich, X-chromosomes-overloaded pot-bellied noisemaker?

Business / The Australian Currency With A Typo Error by GuyfawkesAB(m): 12:39pm On Jul 15, 2021
Australia's A$50 note comes with a big blunder hidden in the small print - a somewhat embarrassing typo.
The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) spelled "responsibility" as "responsibilty" on millions of the new yellow notes.

The RBA said the error would be fixed in future print runs.
But for now, around 46 million of the new notes are in use across the country.

The bills were released late 2018 and feature Edith Cowan, the first female member of an Australian parliament.
What looks like a lawn in the background of Mrs Cowan's portrait is in fact rows of text - a quotation from her first speech to parliament.

"It is a great responsibility to be the only woman here, and I want to emphasise the necessity which exists for other women being here," is repeated several times over in microscopic print.

Alas, it's printed each time as "responsibilty" - with a missing i.
It took more than six months for someone with a good magnifying glass to spot the typo.
The A$50 note is the most widely circulated in Australia, and the most commonly given out by cash machines. The other side of the note features distinguished Indigenous author David Unaipon.

Politics / Re: Ibom Air: Why Can't Lagos State Have An Airline Like Akwa Ibom State? by GuyfawkesAB(m): 1:53pm On Jul 04, 2021
You just spoke my mind
Udom lacks the creativity and innovation to make the most of the huge allocation his state gets monthl

plaetton:

Despite all the noise and fanfare, Akwa Ibom State will NEVER be able to run a profitable airline. The airline industry is the most complex , capital intensive industry there. Governments running airlines is a thing of he distant past. No same government in the world would burden itself with running an airline. We have very short memories in Nigeria and beholden to Shiny objects.
The government of Akwa Ibom is very far from delivering on its mandate of delivering social services for the welfare of its people. Nigerian local, state and federal government are very poor on delivering the basic needs of the population, and development of human capital, let alone running a complex and capital intensive business. It is a lack of imagination that would lead a government of a poor state( by every standard of life index ) to embark on grandiose schemes and businesses just to appear to be doing something.

If AirFrance, KLM, Swiss Air, Alitalia, Sabena, all national carriers of rich and advanced countries, are struggling and some bankrupt and liquidated, it is unrealistic to expect Ibom Air, owned and operated by a state that solely depends on monthly hangouts from the federal purse, to be profitable and survive beyond 5yrs.

Akwa Ibom Air is a colossal waste of state resources, and I can predict, with mathematical precision, that it would collapse in maximum 5 yrs, and saddle the state with billions and billions of domestic and foreign debt.

Politics / Re: Is This True Igbo's From Ebonyi by GuyfawkesAB(m): 7:43am On Jun 26, 2021
And they'd rather leave it to keep fallowing and forested while basking in the mere thought that they have lands?

Nobody is asking that they sell all their lands, but considering how small the world has become and how migratory people are today, holding on to 'ancestral' lands while investors are knocking on the door, or while visitors and strangers who wish to settle within you are seeking to buy and build doesn't sound consistent with the ideals of a modern 21st century society. It's parochial and crude.

complexBoss12:
The guy exaggerated certain things, so I will make some corrections.

Not that you can't sell your land, but an average Igbo would rarely sell ancestral lands. infact, it's highly improbable. These lands are not just regarded as properties, it's a heritage, that you are expected to pass on to your children, and them, to their Children. An Igbo will sell land under duress, that's as a last option to solve a problem. But anyone who is found to have a penchant for just selling properties, is regarded as unseriouse in life.

A community can decide that our lands a few, so we are not selling to strangers, but it's not because they are not welcoming strangers or travelers. (Generally, the South East is not known for landmass, like many other regions)
