Now that their own personal security is affected, both of them quickly called for a joint session. chinjo: Among every twelve there must be a Judas. Well I think the table turned. It's been a long time habit of Igbos to make every other tribe look bad and they boastfully peddled these narratives while others looked on- Yorubas are dirty, betrayers, lazy... Hausas are dirty, illiterates...Ijaws are these, Tivs are that... you always seem to know what's wrong with every other tribe. You were the only ones who would be welcomed into another man's land and then you will turn around to insult them based on the flaws you see amongst them. Now that the same heat have been turned on you,you cry victim? Or do you think other tribes just woke up one day and began to castigate you guys in unision? ikennaf1: as chinua Achebe wrote in his book "there was a country", Nigerians will disagree in every issue except on one that tramples on the Igbo. Antagonising the Igbo is the country's only rallying point. I wonder why the hatred, jealousy and fear.
Funny but The easiest way for the Igbo to get Biafra, is for them to declare one Nigeria, then watch as our antagonists push us out. After all that's what they brutally did after the 1966 coup until Igbos said OK let's have our own country, then they mobilised to seek us back. |

You guys don't seem to amaze me. Continue your shallow fantasies of taking up arms in a rebellion. Python dance will be child's play. You think because you make so much noise, that translates to you having the monopoly of creating violence? An empty barrel makes... We are waiting for what you want to do, I hope it won't be late by the time you realize we are more prepared than you thought. HiddenShadow: Don't worry when Buhari set the country ablaze next year, you will definitely be forced to show your skills on the battle field. |

Whatever you say or quote, it doesn't justify one side and vilify the other. Both sides committed atrocities, killed themselves and did unimaginable things. I understand the hurt of losing almost 3 million souls. But it shouldn't make you persistently foolish to make empty boasts or cry for war. Cooly100: “All is fair in war, and starvation is one of the weapons of war. I don't see why we should feed our "ENEMIES" fat in order for them to fight harder."- Chief Obafemi Awolowo (Nigerian Minister of Finance, July 28th 1969)
Is the above part of restraint...?

No one denies he has made quite a number of wrong statements. I'm not justifying or defending him for that and he probably deserves the anger you guys are directing towards him. That's not to take away from the obvious mischief of the journalist or blogger who came up with the headline and the fact that you NLers are reacting without proper comprehension and objectivity. Does his statement correlates with the headline? Answer Cooly100: Which of the speeches of this illiterate speaker would you Iwo Muslim defend..?
Is it the 5% and 97% division?
The Nigerians criminals?
The Nigeria youths are lazy?
The..Nigeria will assist Ghana to fight corruption...?

It is so easy to manipulate and teleguide most of you NL guys to react in a particular expected way. So damn easy. All one needs to do is play up any issue that would quickly resonate with your frustrations and you will lap it up like rabid dogs and start foaming at the mouth.
No comprehension, no reasoning or proper appraisal before reacting.

Are you trying to vilify just one side in the war? In war both sides are guilty. What about the massacres carried out amongst minorities by Biafrans? Or killings hey committed in the Midwest? Or the bombings in Lagos carried out by the Biafran air wing? Don't justify any of the sides. And don't over-dramatise the president's statement. If you are well educated and can comprehend well, you can easily tell that the Journalists played up the headline to raise controversy. Cooly100: ....Grand Patron of the Nigerian Red Cross Society (NRCS) at the presidential villa in Abuja, President Buhari insinuated that the Nigerian army showed lots of restraints on Biafrans during the civil war.....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So bombing churches, schools and marketplaces is showing restraint?
As dull as the speaker is, he might not be aware of all that happened during the war...Has he ever read any books, to learn more? Nope!!! |

Pathetic embittered lowlife. You can never debate sensibly. Anyone who holds opposing view to yours is automatically an 'Afonja' or 'Arewa'. No wonder every other tribe sees the 'fault in your stars'. The young man @laribari is not discounting the effort of the sit-at-home, he is only comparing the effectiveness to that of a rally. Rather than engage him as a worthy debater, you are foaming at the mouth from the endless nightmares you've had because of Yoruba people. BrownRoofRep: This social media tout keep posting the link of the report on the army killing of civilians instead of the rally.

Not leaving put other tribes in complicity, I keep mentioning that there is a need to go and sensitization the people at home in the SE on the issue of allowing couples come to take their children away under the guise of sending them to school. I stay in an area where there's a lot of Igbo people. I can hardly bear how much pain I see these very young kids go through, while their madams pamper their children. It's quite rampant among them TheKingIsHere: As usual, they run from the thing that is becoming a trouble in their lives. Mind you, I stay in the same neighborhood with a lot of igbos, so I know what am saying.
The way your men maltreat your women is becoming a thing for concern, same way your women brutalize young house helps sent to them.
