The qualities you enumerate as being the Igbo man's strength are actually his undoing in the Nigerian political space. The notion of being republican and not easily regimented behind a leader keeps fueling the superiority complex of an average Igbo man. This attitude has prevented him from being able to make calculated decisions, long term alliances and future projections that will favour their foray into national politics. All the 'We are Republican in nature', 'Igbo ewe ron'eze', 'We are the best tribe' and more gets you to do is make rash and uncalculated political choices; blinds you to project into the future and make alignments towards your goal, and present yourself as sagacious. This also makes you denigrate others who have a strong sense of leader-follower systems. You abuse them, mock them and make them look primitive and stupid because they don't do things the way you perceive is the best and smartest. As long as you haven't been cured of the ideology of not submitting to any single man's leadership, you can't have it smooth politically. Your politicians will find it difficult to keep a support base, no matter how loyal they are. That ideology helped sustained your clannish and age group system of existence before the arrival of colonialism. The world has moved on very far and all over, people are choosing leaders and supporting them to chart the way for their development. Self-help might work for you in business and in developing your towns, but it has also made you politically docile, and that why your region has some of the most incompetent political office holders who can gladly loot the treasury with little or not opposition because those he ought to deliver the dividends of democracy to are by themselves providing these amenities and still beating their chest that they were able to do so by themselves without government help. That Abaribe sees this mediocrity and has never said anything to show that he actually stands for good governance as he makes fools believe, is enough confirmation that he is just as useless and a scam like Ikpeazu. Nothing good can ever come out from Abaribe. Abians beware, don't vote for him. Look for another young and vibrant politician to replace these foolish and wicked leaders that Satan has appointed over your state |
The drunkard don come with another joke again. What is ultramodern about this training pitch? See Olembe City Stadium in Cameroon for the definition of ultramodern: https://www.facebook.com/108854237679336/posts/399797455251678/ |
Obaseki get sense at all? |
Simple sprinklers, they can't install in such a large place. The owner, facility Manager and Abuja City Council infrastructure inspector are fools |
Is Abia really cursed? The same ring of wicked men ruling it since 1999 - All the Deputy Governors and HOA Speakers too want to add to the total destruction of a once great Industrial state. Imagine Aba, one of the most beautifully planned cities in Nigeria is on retrogressive run rather than growing, all because of selfish, wicked and satanic leaders |
A lot of Travellers to the East will pass through Abuja to Itapke where they would board the trains to Warri and stop at Agbor Station. They can connect to the East from there. This would save them a lot of money compared to direct journeys. egoldman: |
The Catholic Church, the foretold end-time Harlot riding on a Beast. For what business does a church have in appointing representative to world organizations if not that it is well vested in the political and financial system of the world itself. The smokescreen is the ceremonies, mass and religious festivals. The real dining, wining and debauchery with world powers and societies is going on behind the scene. Soon, the Catholic church will be at the forefront of moves to merge different religions and political powers across the world. He who has an ear, let him hear and pursue his own salvation now instead of still bowing for Mary's statues |

Catechism has done a lot more brainwashing of Catholics than any other preaching or ideology. Why do Catholics confess their sins to a Father, when the bible clearly states that we should confess our sins to Christ Jesus directly? The only place the Apostle Paul admonishes us on confession of sin is that we should confess them to one another so as to be able to edify and build ourselves up. Not to one man who your Catholicism has designated as to be able to forgive sins. Why do you keep a statue of Mary or the assumed Jesus at every catholic parish and have people kneel and bow before it before proceeding into the auditorium? Some Mary organizations even hold meetings in front of these 'Shrines' and do obeisance and worship to this statues Who is the bloody Pope that I can't tell him to his face that he lied if he did? Is he an angel? That man is leading ya'll to hell. African conservatism is still preventing you from seeing the abominations that he is already giving his blessings to in America and Europe GiantParrot: |

An AfghanEastern idiot. Why should you tell an aspirant to step down his bid to be president? Shouldn't you instead rally eligible men in your region to step up their game and emulate Tinubu and even surpass him in his game to win political points? So if he stops his bids, who are the AfghanEasterns that are visibly campaigning now that he can throw his weight behind? How many of them are ready to play politics the smart way Tinubu plays, making concessions, compromises and alliances? Abi you think say na Ugba and Abacha politics we dey talk Make this man go get sense o. EcoBrick: |

Your brain seethes with pungent inferiority complex. You are sinking, and fast too. And any straw of self importance you can grab onto to prove to no one that you actually better than how you are seen is futile. No true warrior sings his own praise. Only a coward and inferior one goes all around telling everyone he is great. Run along and go and suck on some Mkpurumiri crystals bomb24: |
The day you guys learn to be circumspect and reason in maturity, maybe the rest of Nigeria will start taking you seriously. You get too loud unnecessarily and try to denigrate others for your empty babblings. This is why Ralph Uwazuruike and Nnamdi Kanu still remain local champions till date. With all the evidence available that Benin bronze works were greatly influenced by that of Yoruba bronze workers, I'm not sure that a Yoruba dude would make a senseless boast about having made Benin Kingdom what it is or that the Yorubas brought civilization to Benin. Grow up guys. |
You are just all wailing for nothing. This doesn't diminish the civilization of other African grouos nor does it make the Igbo superior. That the Oka men forayed into Yorubaland and brought the improvement of using screws instead of nails for gun assembly doesn't mean they taught the Yorubas metal working. The Nupes were already great metal workers and their influences cuts across the central part of Nigeria. Ottoman gun trading even came as far as Oyo empire. The Oyo calvary numbered over a thousand horses and they were all armed with Turkish muskets and local guns made by their blacksmiths. There's a lot to be learnt from history, but rather than learn and make the most of the information it avails, you puffed-up ethno-rascals are running daft all over the place trying to place your d*cks beside other to prove that yours is longer or you taught them how to use their own d*cks Make una go rest una senseless brains |
