Politics › Re: It Is Insanity For Anybody To Wish Buhari To Continue Beyond 2019 - Igbo Youths by Guyman02: 10:44am On Jan 25, 2018
Irukkanews:
Ezeobi lambasted the Igbo leaders in APC who went to endorse President Buhari for second term. According to him, the people are a disgrace not only to themselves and their families but to Igbo nation. He said that the so-called Igbo leaders in APC that went to endorse Buhari don’t have electoral values.

"The so called Igbo in APC that went to endorse Buhari for second term are vagabonds. They have no electoral values. For instance, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu who for many years was the National Chairman of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party(ANPP), did not even produce counselor for the party in his village.

So,do the rest of them. I want to tell you that next year, if Buhari dares to run, he would utterly be humiliated, not only in Igbo land but in every part of the country. So, I want Nigerians to know that those who went

Crime › Re: Fulani Herdsmen Strike Kill 4 Benue People In Fresh Attack by Guyman02:
Benue should forget their alliance with the North and form a strong Middle Belt pressure group in alignment with the South.
The Fulanis see them as a conquered territory, last time we celebrated on this forum the life of a young Igbo man who went into a burning building to rescue a toddler of Tiv parents but lost his own life in the process, he never considered what the Benue people did to his people during the pogrom in the North who waylaid escaping Igbos moving to Enugu and murdered several of them before he took that action, a Fulani will not do that for a Tiv.

The Benue association with the North has not brought any form of development to them but misery and bloodshed cry

Warship:
Someone should remind me what Kanu said in 2014.

Tivs good morning and welcome to One Nigeria that you shed blood to keep as one.

True

It's just a candid advice that can be accepted or rejected.

With this advice from OBJ, PMB will sit up. And Yorubas will get a better deal from PMB.

Many forget OBJ has powerful international connections. They may have told him to write that letter.
Obasanjo has never been a Yoruba politician, he won't make any deals for Yoruba or any tribe

Politics › Re: Benue May Cut Alignment With North Over Killings by Guyman02: 12:48pm On Jan 23, 2018
TundeHashim:
The North still remains the best option for the state. South East is not a good alternative while the distance to southwest is massive. So we all remain one...in blood and spirit..The North...One People One Destiny!!!
The best option is to have a strong Middle Belt Forum which is dreaded by the North.
The swing votes in Nigeria comes from the Middle belt
Politics › Re: Benue May Cut Alignment With North Over Killings by Guyman02:
Benue shares a lot of similarities with the South, they share a border with Igbos in Enugu. But the allowed Sardauna to declare them as 'Arewa' and in Fulani peoples assessment they are a conquered territory. They were deceived into attacking Igbos fleeing from the far north during the pogrom instead of providing cover and protection.

Their leaders were overtly anti Yoruba for years, they never supported the agitations in the South South for resource control.

Its never too late, they are welcome. I love the solidarity shown to Benue by Afenifere, Ohaneze, South South leaders and the fact that Northern leaders exposed their true self through the Gov of Borno State and El rufai who led a delegation to visit Benue only to condemn the people mourning their dead instead of commiserating with them.

Benue is Middle Belt and they should reject the nomenclature 'North central or Arewa' because the Middel Belt holds the power to decide who rules Nigeria which they seem not to have come to terms with.

Starting from Feb 1, 2018 Igbos will start boycotting Cow Meat in Solidarity with the Benue and Taraba people. Hope that Other Nigerians will join us
Politics › Re: Fulani Herdsmen: I Am Ready To Meet Miyetti Allah At ICC - Gov. Ortom by Guyman02:
Just like in 1966 when Ojukwu warned the Benue/Plateau people about their blind allegiance and loyalty to the Fulani controlled Arewa but they thought Igbos needed to be destroyed and formed road blocks to kill Igbos escaping from the far north in their communities despite their close proximity to Obollo Affor and Nsukka with whom they share cultural similarities, they were the foot soldiers during the civil war as Paul Unongo boasted that they provided 1 million men to fight the Biafrans to keep Nigeria united.

Just recently Nnamdi Kanu warned them again but some of them celebrated Operation Python Dance and Crocodile Smile, now it has come to them from the same people, who will fight for them, who will defend them?
The Gov had for several months been running to Abuja every time there was an attack to weep and beg the Fulani controlled FG for help which never came.

Its either the Govt and people of Benue arm themselves to frontally engage the Fulani militia or their communities will soon be left without human beings as most of them are migrating to the State capital Markudi as refugees.

Igbos will continue to show solidarity to the Middle Belt people until they come to their senses and start seeing the entity called Nigeria from the spectrum of the Igbos despite all the hate they have shown to them in the past.

I get the general gist of your post, but I posit a counterpoint:
the relative freedoms Yoruba women enjoy in society empowers them more to challenge the status quo than Northern women - who enjoy relatively less freedoms to speech, to thought, to dress, to education.

ps. I'm not Yoruba.
That is not enough alibi to disrespect simple written rules and regulations. If they are so smart then they should challenge it in appropriate ways and not creating unintelligent scenes.

grin what is a kemi olunoye?
A semi mentally deranged woman, who bullies people ,underaged children under the guise of journalism, that was forcibly made to repent and denounce all her accusations against a pastor of the most high, that threw a woman in prison for six months without any court evidence or court case and hereafter forced her to denounce all her claims against him and blame them all on demonic manipulations and just like that a pending court case was seemingly erased.
Don't I just love my country?

Politics › Re: No Female Visitor Is Allowed To Wear Face Cover (Niqab) - Nigerian Saudi Embassy by Guyman02: 4:02pm On Jan 22, 2018
The Notice is for security reasons as a man can cover himself in the niqab, enter the embassy unnoticed and cause havoc as we see in Afghanistan were gunmen just entered a hotel with their weapons concealed in the niqab and wrecked havoc on people.

Curiously Yoruba Muslims are the ones who always go against constituted authority and claim religious persecution.
Just like the call to bar lady who refused every entreaty by senior lawyers who are also Muslims for her to remove her veil, wear her wig and go in for the ceremony, she went to the extent of raining abuses at them and calling them 'faithless' people.
Another Yoruba Muslim woman here refused all pleadings from even the embassy staff who are Saudis to obey the law at the embassy and she is claiming to be more Muslim than the Saudi Muslims in their land which is the HQ of Islam.

We have never seen a Northern Muslim woman attracting unnecessary attention to herself because of religion, they play it cool, dont raise their voices against men and elders like the Yoruba Muslim women keep doing..

Will MURIC write a petition against Saudi Arabia as they usually do in Nigeria? huh

Wrong, we are not sitting and watching, we are strategizing and getting ready. Many of our people abroad have made contacts with arms dealers to be on standby, for now our vigilantes carry Pump Action in our communities but that can quickly be replaced with AK49 and RPGs if needed.
What happened to IPOB is an eye opener.

Its curious that till date no Igbo man is included in the National Security Council which was the reason we didnt get intelligence on the massive assault by the Army on IPOB in Abia State.
Nnamdi Kanu got snippets which was that the Army planned to eliminate him enroute to a meeting Enugu from Umuahia and he made it public

Not surprised h the demolition from the same Shettima who insulted Benue people mourning the loss of their relatives because he wanted to counter the growing collaboration between Southern leaders and the Middle Belt whom the they always refer to as 'North Central Region'.
Perhaps, we may have to go back to the statements made by Modu Sheriff accusing him of been behind the Chibok girls kidnap and using it for political gains

Akara is the same meaning in Bahia, Brazil.

The Bahia people just like some Cubans and Haitis worship Ifa and Yoruba gods.

Trinidad and Tobago has some Yoruba influence.

It's safe to say the carribeans were taking from West Africa .

One cannot rule out Igbo presence in such places but the influence of Yoruba is beyond doubt.
This thread is about Igbos in Jamaica and not about Yoruba, can we stick to that?
