MrLP:
Hello Nairalanders,

Pardon me, i had to create another moniker just to post this.
I am in love this babe i met in my estate, but i got frustrated and let out a piercing outburst which has made her delete me on BBM, blocked me on Whatsapp and have made her refuse to pick my calls for 2 weeks now. I will attach the screen shot of my outburst below.
In other not to bore u with some long stories, wi just state what actually led to this.
I have been asking her out for a while, i met her in my estate some months back. i left her when she told me she was seeing someone. I later saw her again walking home in my estate while i was driving by. I knew i still liked her, decided to try again as i was not in any relationship too.

We got talking again, but she is always not there. claimed her job and all that. sometimes takes up.to 24 hours to revert my messages even sometimes ti pick up my calls. There are sometimes i see her online on whatsapp, while my message remains pending on BBM. Its always excuse of work, being tired and all that. I had to take it like that afterall am still just an "admirer".

But i noticed one thing, its when i want to get something from a store...she remembers she needs something too. There was a day i was getting a bottle of beer in a shop in my estate, that was when she knee she didn't have milk and sugar at home. She told me to get her milk and sugar. i saw that as odd. " milk and sugar" well i got it. The other day i wanted to recharge my phone, she suddenly remembered her unit was low too. I got for her, she never even called me with it. I dont need to say much, you guys already have an idea. I kept on asking her out and telling her I loved her and all of that. But it was frustrating because we mostly see Sundays, and my Sundays too not always free, as i may be on duty. Her sub finished, my messages weren't delivering, i was able to get her on phone and she told me her sub expired. When she hung up, I immediately recharged her line with quick Teller. it took me about another 48 hrs to even let her know i have recharged her line. She wouldn't pick her calls she wouldn't call back.

This time she acts like she is tuning in with me, next time she acts strangely. To cut it all short, she is been telling me she wished to go clubing. 24th was a public hol though i went to work, but she didnt. Called her and told her, ok today we are both free....what about clubbing? she said fine. Called me like 3 times before i got home. Its only when something is at stake she calls. Told her will come pick her by 9pm then we chill somewhere till late, when club will be opened. At past 9, called her i was enroute, she started complaining it was already late, i was like late at past 9? which club opens by 9. she said she is not going again, she is even hungry, just come pick me to eat and drop me back home. I was like WTF in my mind how can a lady be home since morning and tell a guy to come pick her and buy her food at past 9. Those are things we do on campus. I told her no...we are going clubbing, she will eat along the road. Hung up and met her outside her gate. she was dressed casually with simple slips. I was surprised. so she actually meant it. She entered the car and i drove off...told her she will enter the club like that, i will try not get her bounced. lol. She was boning and angry...i gnored her, picked my friends and drove straight to an hotel that hat a restaurant and lounge. Got her her meal, then we went to the lounge later. Told me she was traveling next day, and i have to drop her at the park or something since i will make her wake late. I agreed, she insisted i dropped her home, as a gentle man i did just that around 3am. Waited till she was safely in, before driving back home.

she called at 8am, and i was still sleeping, i picked and she started saying, you are still sleeping when you know you to drop me off. please come and pick me, i am late. and hung up. I was upset but went to pick her, it was then she remembered she needed to use ATM. I became a driver looking for ATM. we didnt get to use, its either crowdy or no money. That was when she said she can manage with what she had. Dropped her and went back home. Didnt hear from her, no thank you, she didnt even tell me she had gotten to her destination. When i asked and told her how was missing her...took another 9 hours to reply. and it was just a line. i got pissed and exploded.

meanwhile night out , someone was calling and calling she refused to pick. eventually turned off her phone. i later collected it and tuned it on...she had about 76 unread messages on Whatsapp. Phone was locked. I just gave her back...because she was getting angry i was holding her phone.

This made me wondering if that was how she turned off her phone when i keep calling. No calls returned but phone eventually says switched off. Excuse is always work and being tired.

Below was what i told her....becaue i couldn't take her games any longer...But i cant stop thinking of her still. I really like her....and i am almost regret blasting her. But i can't let feelings manipulate my normal sense of reasoning. she is a working class and should stop behaving like an hungry campus girl.

I mean while gather all the admirers and respond to whichever u please to at that time.... I find it strange, whats the gain?

But should i have been more patient?
See my brother, love is not be force. I know this cos I've been there. It is wrong blaming the girl for you did of your own free will. It is yourself you will blame for being wreckless, so that next time, you can take correction and be a better man.
For me oh, everyone is struggling in some kind of way.
She can't tell you why she won't date you because, probably of her secretiveness. But be rest assured that she might be looking for you to notice that thing about her, so you can rescue her.
Just saying...
And please, being a gentleman is after you have got the girl to date you; not before. It make you look unattractive.
I understand you because, I'm much like you and I owe it to my likes to give this advice.
Good luck Bro.

You need to understand that when a part breaks away, it affects the whole in every areas. You also need to know that secession is different from independence. You only gain independence from a colonialist or an occupier while you secede from an existing entity/country. The questions you need to ask yourself are,

why do you clamour for secession?

Are the reasons genuine enough or do you have legal/legitimate case for secession?

If you prefer a referendum, present your case to the NASS & do everything through the appropriate channels. All of these should be done legally & Nnamdi should know better as he claims to be learned but he rather chose to be reckless about it (he probably has bad advisers).

Let the referendum start from SE & check the people's sentiment first, only then will you be able to know if your agitation will survive on the national level. There has to be debates for a certain period of time for the YES/NO campaign at every level of society & govt so that people can be more enlightened, therefore be able to make informed decisions & choice.

Let me chill here... cool
That's only possible in the US or some western states my brother.
Black man doesn't reason this way.
Once you mention referendum they get scared forgetting the people you want to govern in a democratic system of government must want to be govern by the government.
The points you raised are true.
From the way Buhari talks, he seems to think Nigeria is his caliphate.

I started the mtn 2,500 day and night plan for my blackberry from February this year till December making it 27,500. Around October I got an iPhone and I did the same subscription for three months which amounts up to 7,500.

Everything totals up to #35,000 that I've used for subscription in the year 2015. This excludes the miscalleneous weekly subscriptions I made when there was no money to subscribe. cheesy

How much have you spent?

The concluding part of your reply shows that you are becoming uncomfortable with my views but notwithstanding, do you think Kanu is credible enough to lead the biafra struggle? Do you think the biafra agitators have a legitimate case or argument to warrant secession?

These are some of the factors y'all need to consider.
Nobody needs a reason for secession.
Are even listening to yourself, "reason for secession".
Did Nigeria need any reason for independence?
Conduct a referendum we told them.

Yes, Nigeria is a multi-secular state and every of the multi attribute. Unfortunately, no one has ever wonder the mystery behind the term 'majority carries the vote'. It is well used in politics, religious issues, even in some tic-tac social and societal problems arising. If this rule of 'majority' could be effectively used in almost every decision making, I see no reason why it couldn't be used by outside worlds in determining what country Nigeria is. I am afraid to say, Nigeria is an islamic country as it has more muslims than the number of christians. A religion which allows the privilege of many wives, many children; large family, has the tendency of outgrowing other religion in population no matter how people try to depopulate it with their beastly talks.

Anything that separates us from God is sin.
There 7 cardinal vices(sin):
1. Pride
2. Greed
3. Lust
4. Envy
5. Gluttony
6. Anger
7. Laziness

There 6 sins against the holy spirit:
1. Presumption
2. Despair
3. Resisting the known truth
4. Envy of a brother's spiritual good
5. Obstinacy in sin
6. Final impenitence

What makes these sins unforgivable?
You know, God's grace has an expiration date.
These sins, every sinner must pass through them and at the last: final impenitence. At 'final impenitence' he or she does not seem to have the grace of repentance.
Before I go further, let me explain grace.

There are two primary categories of grace:
1.Actual grace.
2. Sanctifying grace.

1.Actual grace is extrinsic to the soul, meaning that it is an impulse to do good or avoid evil that is sent by God and acts upon the soul much like a tugboat gently nudges an ocean liner to move in a certain direction. Sometimes the nudges aren't very subtle, as in the case of Saul who received a massive blast of actual grace on the road to Damascus in Acts 9:1-8. This actual grace "nudged" him to convert to the Catholic faith.

2. Sanctifying grace, on the other hand, is intrinsic to the soul, meaning that it inheres or takes up residence in the soul. When Saul surrendered his heart to Christ and entered the Church the Holy Spirit infused his soul with sanctifying grace.

Okay, now that we understand grace, let continue.

When you get to final impenitence, you have lost the grace of repentance.
It means you can no longer desire repentance.

You didn't know?
People think anytime they want to repent they will.
But it is not so.

Let continue by explain the first: presumption.

1.Presumption: You commit a sin and presume that Good will forgive you. He's all mercifully and forgiving, yes.
You say one more. One more won't kill me nah. After one more, another more, on and on and on.
CCC (catechism of the Catholic church) 2092: There are two kinds of presumption. Either man presumes upon his own capacities, (hoping to be able to save himself without help from on high), or he presumes upon God's Almighty power or His mercy (hoping to obtain his forgiveness without conversion, and glory without merit).
2.Despair: now you've realize you've failed to do the right thing and want to do the right thing and now are actually thinking it's impossible to repent. Seeing as it's difficult to keep from sinning.
The frustration of falling into sin, now leads you to despire.
CCC (catechism of the Catholic church): 2091: The first commandment is also concerned with sins against hope, namely, despair and presumption:
By despair, man ceases to hope for his personal salvation from God, for help in attaining it or for the forgiveness of his sins. Despair is contrary to God's goodness, to his justices — for the Lord is faithful to his promises — and to his mercy

3. Resisting the known truth: you found out that since you can't stop, why make yourself feel bad about yourself?
So you resist the known truth.
When someone says that dress is immoral you say, impossican't. You no long see anything bad in a something that used to be a sin to you. You see how despair has graduated you to this sin?

4. Envy of a brother's spiritual good: brother here refers to all Christians.
When you see someone doing so well in his or her spiritual life, you envy them.

5. After committing a sin for a long time, you actual have made your body accustomed to it.
You don't even think before you soon anymore. It seems your conscience is dead.
Before telling he truth, you lie.
Terrible unholy words are now your 'how far' and 'what's up'.
Amongst all this, you still want to change. You carve change. Not repentance though.
Only PRAYER can gain you the GRACE (CRAVING) for repentance.

6.Final Impenitence: this part scares even the author. The grace of God has deserted you.
It means you no longer have sanctifying grace. But just the grace of survival. You are not dead yet, but you are dead in the spirit. Which is what gives the physical, life.

CCC (catechism of the Catholic church) 1864: "whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never had forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin."-Mk 3:29; cf. Mt 12:32; Lk 12:10.
There are no limits to the mercy of God, but anyone who deliberately refuses to accept his mercy by repenting, rejects the forgiveness of his sins and the salvation offered by the Holy Spirit. Such hardness of heart can lead to final impenitence and eternal loss.

But there is hope: PRAYER.
“Come to me, all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke and put it on you, and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit; and you will find rest. For the yoke I will give you is easy, and the load I will put on you is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30 GNBDK
http://bible.com/431/mat.11.28-30.GNBDK

Bring nothing but your wholehearted self. Don't worry if you will not be able to finish what you start, just come. Don't worry if you are not sure you want to, just come. Don't worry if you think you cannot do away with what is keeping you from Him, but come. For in time, His grace will break those hindrances.
Benedicamus Domino!
