Yeah, obviously. Love and Trust are an integral foundation of relationships. Cheating is in violation of that trust and love and it puts that foundation on shaky grounds. I would imagine that they get involved to repair the damage born by the mishap. It would be great if the couple can find a working "do it yourself approach" that would resolve the problem, but I don't see that being possible in most cases because the hurt cuts far too deep and the vow-breaking act leaves an acrid taste in the mouth. I can see how involving mature minds could do wonders for the couple, and I can also see how involving those third parties could also be volatile and embarrassing. |
Girl846:I echoed similar sentiments a while back. It's almost intrinsic in the typical nairalander to start shouting fire once these threads surface. I would think if you're appalled by them you would simply skip them over and get on with your life. |
agathamari:Of course, that's the normal course of action when you hurt people. You should apologize for wrongs. As per topic, again We drag people in the mud and hurt them with our actions in ways other than cheating too, so why should cheating preferentially receive special treatment or require an audience seeking your forgiveness? No one is pure. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Like I stated earlier, Tiger's apology was calculated and meticulously scripted. He did not feel obliged to give an apology. Due to his status as a mega public figure he had to put the surrounding hoopla to rest by coming out with a few statements, else the media will continue to make his life hell on earth. |
What exactly is love and why is it so puzzling to perceive that it can be harvested and compounded online? Hearts can meet anywhere. It's not insurmountably difficult to understand that love is an emotion triggered by whatever special kind of impulses the brain receives and interpretes a certain way. The emotion can be enhanced and kept alive through physical interactions with the someone; when you're able to see them, feel them, smell them physically etc . . . these are all vital to the survival of love. However, to think that feelings of love cannot be initiated through wired interactions with people met online is simply flawed. People both online and offline can impress upon your mind certain images of themselves that you in turn could misinterpret and could end up being misled. You never truly know who a person is completely even in person; pray serendipity leads you to a genuine individual who will not deceive you. |
And of course as far as engineering is concerned you really cannot go wrong with the MITs , Caltech, Berkeley. |
Stanford by definition is not an ivy due in large part to region since the Ivy League was established as an athletic program anyway, but Stanford is just as prestigious and reputable as the ivy leagues as far as academics are concerned. Depending on the field of study, I would be under the impression that aside from the Harvard, Yale, Princeton . . . Stanford's more difficult to get into than the UPenn's or Dartmouths' |
If that's the case then we'd be holding cheaters-conferences around the clock everyday. The reason Tiger Woods dutifully apologized to the public has everything to do with his supercelebrity status. |
jay bee:Pure shooter. Getting into a groove. Shooters are streaky. When they're on, the basket opens up like a huge calabash in their eyes. |
If you're fat, expect people to call you fat. You might consider it callous, but that's just human nature - we don't know any better. The best you can do for yourself like the poster above me said is to focus on your confidence level. If your self esteem is high you will be pretty much unshakeable. You would be able to brush off those petty comments or disparaging remarks like they're flies. |
In more relevant news, the Bobcats bounced the Crabs again today. Seems they match up solidly with Cleveland. I like how G. Wallace makes Lebron work on defense. Wear his arse out. |
Woulda coulda shoulda blah blah hoopla The greats find a way to get it done. LeBully is nothing but a $tat wh0re as his t-shirt displayed last time. He's a Dominique Wilkins at best. Nothing but highlight reels. Carmelo Anthony on the other hand has got what it takes. He exposed LeOverratedDefense yesterday on defense when he continued lighting him up mano-o-mano in the clutch. Even dunked on his arse during that final stretch. That little drop-step jelly shimmy he put on Lebron last night was pure and Lebron wanted no part of it with his weak defense. I've told you lots before that those highlight weak-side blocks are preventing you from understanding what a true fraud he really is on defense. Granted his defense has improved over the years, there's a lot more work left to be done in that department. You can continue cooking up excuses and reasons for their losses, but the truths get it done in crunch time. Until LePuppy learns the tenacity and the killer instinct it takes to take over in the clutch, he will continue to remain a LeClank and LeBricklayer when the game is on the line. And I will delight in LeLol'ing from watching him fail. And of course I almost forgot to remind you that the greatest basketball player resides on this side of the coast in La La Land ![]() https://i44.tinypic.com/el1oo2.jpg |
The thread has nosedived since I left. FAIL |
Is there a congregation of fatimos here? lol plat i see you |
bubugul:oh please. What capability? You mean to tell me he knew all along about her propensity for cheating on him. Give my blessing to a cheater? Are you alright? Please don't insult my intelligence abeg. If he knows so well then why is he here narrating his tales, asking us if he's going crazy? |
bubugul:Sure we do. We know she's a cheat. |
I don't like being lied to. The idiots upstairs are being noisy again. |
Bad rep or not, be yourself. Pretending to be someone they're not would only get them so far. |
Is it acceptable to lie if the truth hurts? |
Payback is a dirty slut. I just might exploit your sister to get back at you if I feel like it. Luckily, I'm over it. |
And you're still singing tunes of your love to me. Until I managed to find out you were just trying to extort money from me. You ahole! |
Now you are married and expecting? |
Thanks for returning it by the way. I remember when you used to tell me to "come because of you" |
I remember when you stole my heart |
Will soon be over? Even if there's a reason behind the disclosure, must she be so crude about it? I think you should accelerate the process for her and break it off before she does. It's bound to happen, right? Why wait impatiently in sweats, nervously anticipating the day your heart will be broken? What rubbish. |
That's their prerogative. what do they stand to gain from a lie so silly? Are they looking to increase their chances of hooking up with Jamaican dudes or Americans? |
justwise:lol tell me about it. i thought i was having a bad dream there for a second. |
Dude Lol at the ladies telling you "wow. this cheater is such an awesome lady. she looked you in the eye and told you." wtf? she told me she'd been slammed by another man while she was with me." and i should give her a pat on the back for that? are you retarded? this thing you're dating did not tell you because she was remorseful or is genuinely sorry for what she's done. she told you because her guilty conscience would not let her rest. she confessed to alleviate her own guilt. i can't even begin to respond to this topic . . . makes me wanna puke. |
WUSA |
Lol "pick any date of your choice" you've got to be joking. sounds to me like you're rewarding cheating. tell me you're kidding dude, please. |
One habit I can't stand about them is their apoplectic outbursts. They're too darn irascible for my liking. I prefer my ladies tempered, cos i'm a gentle dude. |
It's true o. I've seen girls with these names. Fantasia is of course a popular singer. A girl I kinda dated . . her roomie's name's Mercedes Apple is always at the gym. I met her there Alizae is a club member |
