Every phone called samsung i avoid like plague. They can disappoint like Amaka, and their parts are very scarce like Buhari's achievements and very expensive like Imo babes. |
no matter who says what, we all know the next governor will most likely be the candidate endorsed by the state governor himself,. |
BroadStreetBull:lolz Buhari did not only back Amaechi against Wike, but also sent in his army, dss, police force, Inec, airforce and navy but yet Wike finished them off because his people stood with him. One thing many of u don't know is that south south are not as cowardly as those we see in the west. They are prepared to stand for and with whom they believe in. Oshiomhole should take a cue from Amaechi's crushing defeat in Rivers. He shouldn't bring unnecesary blood shed to his people. |
best news ever! |
Paxie55:Point of correction dear, first, the yorubas should speak for themselves, and second, these people are here to destroy SOUTH WEST,not SOUTH. You south westerners are the architect of your problems. When the intellectual and more sensible south south and south east warned you guys this nepotistic govt, you guys came out and attacked them, thinking it was all a figment of their imagination, and making it look like it was a south south/south east vs south west/north war. Now you're seeing the reality of the whole situation. By the time these terrorists are done, then you guys would now have sense and know how to protect your people rather than being double mouthed and selling your conscience because of the vain-thinking that a Fulani man will hand over power to your tribesman in 2023! I owe no one any apologies for speaking the truth and I'm waiting and ready for your insults! |
We nigerians get too sentimental about issues. Point is this coach was woeful. The team was also woeful. This nigerian team had the potential and ought to win this afcon! I hope u know it wasnt the coach that won us this third place but the individual brilliance of the players. The coach was tactically and technically poor and made fatal decisions that cost us a lot. With a good coach this Nigerian team should have lifted the cup. The coach made same mistakes during the world cup against a very poor argentina side that any team cud have beaten silly and we ended up losing that game and crashing out. He did same mistake that cost us the afcon. Point is, this man should be sacked, and we should get better coaches that can manage our team and read games and read our opponents tactical moves. In football, and i dare say in life generally, You don't judge success by what you have achieved alone but by comparing what u have achieved with the potentials u had at ur disposal! Thats why a team like real madrid or barca can end up second in the league or even runners up in a champions league and still sack the coach, because they dont just look at what they have achieved as runners up, but also consider the potentials the team had, the way the team played (did they mostly struggle to scrap out wins or they played and won seamlessly and smoothly especially against relatively weaker opponents), targets etc. So nobody should ever say these guys tried. They were woeful by my assessment, and truth is, if this error is not corrected now by sacking this coach and bringing in a sound coach that understands that the super eagles traditionally play exciting attacking football, and then scout for very zealous younger lads who can give their all for their nation, (not the bunch of lazy guys we have today as players), this nigerian team would be headed for more disaster. It happened against argentina and we failed to see it, and today we ended up celebrating mere third place. Its about to happen again, mark my words. How the mighty are fallen that we now get overjoyed by getting third place medal when we could achieve more. I bet in the next AFCON, when they crash out of the group stages, you guys will start celebrating that at least they made it to afcon in the first place. That's how standards fall quickly. |

na wa o...who's still talking about third place or loser's match? its disgusting in itself that we should be playing third place match! I knew it after that argentina match at the world cup that we never had a coach. Yet the stupid guys at nff didnt read the handwriting on the wall and asked the nonsense coach to continue. And this is the result...playing a third place match in an afcon that we could have easily won, considering that the overall perfomance of teams has been generally poor. If we had a good coach, Tactically and technically, this set of eagles would have comfortably won this AFCON. It beats my imagination that pple still have interest in watching this set of lacklustre eagles under a useless ruderless coach. All he does is just to drink bottle of water and clap his hands on the technical area...oooooo |
Please i need an urgent reply. I think my brake pads are wearing out. I need to know the best brake pads in the market right now for toyota corolla 2006- 2008 models. I have heard of a lot of fakes in the market, that's why i need to know about the very good ones to purchase. Urgent reply needed please!!!!!!!!! |
aquabeing:this nigerian side has never clicked. They have only been lucky to have played sides who have been woeful. i said it before that this nogerian side can never win this competition |
To me this is the first real test nigeria is having in this competition. These algerians have revealed how disastrous we've been all along |
Its not that they hate him. They're just very sensible and intelligent people that don't reinforce failures or cluelessness. The same Igbos loved Yarardua, same fulani as Buharri. Truth is that, the igbos including most southerners are not arse lickers or people who just support a failure like zombies, |
when we had the opportunity to kill off the game, we felt so relaxed, and each time we had the opportunity to counter attack the south africans we just passed the ball back to our defenders and allowed the south africans regroup! Now they have punished us with the well deserved equalizer! Funny enough they should pray this game shouldnt go into extra time because these SAs have far more stamina than nigerian players. And to worsen matters, the useless coach removed musa who caused a lot of problems to the SAs. Even worse is the fact that the performance of these SAs have been very poor yet they are playing us like we are kids! outclassing us in every department including pass accuracy, the possession etc |
Just see the difference Chukwueze made! i wonder what the coach drank sef that made him place chukwueze on the bench |
XML33:lolzzzz |
I hope you guys are watching the match after many attacked me when i said that this eagles would never go far! That its better they get beaten by cameroun now because this team will certainly be thrashed by egypt even if they MANAGE to beat cameroun which will be unlikely. And to worsen matters, this is even like one of the most UNIMPRESSIVE cameroonian sides at an AFCON, yet see how well they are playing us. That shows how disastrous the nigerian team is! Like i said before this is the worst nigerian team at an AFCON. A bunch of amateurs with a useless coach. i said it the moment nigeria lost to a very useless argentina team at the world cup that this coach can never take us anywhere, but as usual, we nigerians love to get sentimental and celebrate mediocrity. Even when we had the weakest group in this tournament we still struggled to qualify to the next stage. That should speak a lot! |
HabuD:hope you're watching it now...lolz i dey laugh o! |
BluntBoy:I hope you're watching the match and remember i asked you to snapshot my post, that this eagles would never go far! sheylarhh:I completely agree with you. When a team wins a match, it's either they were very good OR they were bad but played against a team worse than themselves on that day. In the case of Madagascar, they were certainly not good. They only won because they played against teams that were worse than they were including Nigeria! If that same madagascar team had met teams like egypt or algeria or morocco on that same day they beat nigeria, they would have been thrashed so badly. That Nigeria's group was even about the cheapest in the tournament. |
BluntBoy:lolz...ok na...let's watch and see. Just screenshot this post because i will remind you afterwards. We MIGHT MANAGE to beat cameroun (which is more unlikely) but even if we do, that's where our tournament ends! |
jhydebaba:Even if they MANAGE to win cameroun (I used the word manage o because we presently parade one of the most useless nigerian teams to go to an AFCON), how will they get past hosts Egypt who are currently on fire? Its better we receive small bashing from Cameroun and crash out than manage to win Cameroun and get overwhelmingly thrashed by Egypt! Sincerely, the only west african team that has impressed a bit is Mali, and maybe (maybe o) Senegal. Other west african teams have been scandalous. The most impressive teams so far (as i expected) have been from north africa- egypt (though they had an initial slow start), algeria and morocco (who have been fantastic), and tunisia. I see the winner of the AFCON from one of these north african nations, most likely egypt, algeria or morocco. Every other team including nigeria have been playing thrash, primary school football. Please you guys shouldn't get too sentimental and put too much hope in nigeria, so you don't have sudden health issues because this nigerian team i am seeing here will lose scandalously either to cameroun or definitely Egypt. |
The way people are talking here and insulting the man, like they were there live when the incident happened. There are always two sides to a story. One lesson maturity has taught me in life is that you should always hear from both sides before making an objective judgement, no matter how sensational one side of the story or a party is. And before you condemn, have facts. Just don't condemn a man because of hearsay or because one party in the matter said so! Yes the man in question might be guilty, but have your facts before condemning him, not just because it was Busola or Timi Dakolo that accused him. People have also raised valid questions/points on the validity of Busola statements like how disjointed they were, why she waited all these years before spilling it out or how her elder sister could be at home and a pastor boldly came in and raped her or how she didn't even struggle or put up a fight. These are very valid arguments too in favour of the accused, so why focus on only arguments brought forth by the Dakolos? And finally, i totally agree with pple who opine that the energy with which u guys protest against Pastor Biodun would have changed Nigeria if such were channeled into poor government policies and events in the country. Please lets not get sensational or unnecesarily sentimental over this. Let justice prevail without unbdue condemnation of an individual when u don't have facts that he did it. If u condemn this man without such concrete facts but just because a lady called Busola said it, then sadly, ure highly immature and impressionable. Its like taking panadol expecting you would have a headache without the evidence of headache being present. I can assure you that if this case gets to court, that pastor would soundly defeat the Dakolos. I am not a supporter of sexual assault but i strongly support common sense and objective reasoning. |
my biggest regret is that this team has 6 point. I wish they didn't have any point so that all these sentimental Nigerians would know that this is the worst eagles we've had, and worst coach. And to think that this is even about the weakest group in the tournament! |
the annoying thing about this is that, this is about the weakest group in this tournament! And yet this nigerian team have struggled in all their matches. This coach is just clueless. The moment we lost our game to argentina at the world cup i just knew this coach was useless. |
Rossikk:Question is, did this team ever play a good game, starting with their match against Norway which they could have easily won down to this one. They were abysmal especially against France and Germany. Even before the penalty was awarded did they look like they posed any threat to the Germans? They just came into a knock out match and sat down to defend against a very potent attacking side without any concrete attacking plan. How do u expect to progress to the next stage if u don't score, and how can u score if u don't show any ambition to attack. Point if, if a team adopts a defensive approach, then they must simultaneously perfect their counter attacking mechanism if they want to stand any chance of getting a win. Thats what is done worldwide, as exemplified between inter and barca in 2010 UCL knock out. But all we saw in this disastrous falcons team was one which went totally defensive, and whenever they were LUCKY to get the ball, they just throw it away aimlessly. Even a mumu would tell from the start of the game that such a team can never progress to the next stage. Nigerians are just unnecesarily sentimental. They cant tell themselves the truth, thats why our teams keep going out there and failing to perform, because even when they play nonsense we clap for them, and so they would have the audacity to go out and repeat such nonsense performance. This is a team that has been in this fifa women's world cup since 1999. Thats enough time for us to have made significant progress at this level of the competition, rather than coming to this competition, playing rubbish and having sycophants hail and praise them! This is about the worst falcons team i've ever witnessed! At least other falcons team go out and attack, and when they lose they lose gallantly, and not cowardly like these bunch of unambitious players! |
Looking at that video critically, i think it was doctored or the patient's abdomen was cut open before the surgery and the cucumber was inserted inside. And it was closed back and removed now to give pple a wrong impression. I'd give u reasons. If that cucumber was inserted through any of the orifices ( by that i mean mouth, anus, vagina) it would have been removed either from the intestines (in which case we would have seen the surgeons in that video cutting open the intestines to remove it, or it would have been removed from the uterine cavity or uterus or womb in layman's terms which wasn't...the intestines were however intact and the position of the cucumber was nowhere near the uterus). The cucumber was rather within the peritoneal cavity which was quite strange. Those in medicine would understand that for something to enter the peritoneal cavity in that manner, it could have come from within the tubular organs like intestines, uterus, etc which i've excluded above, or it could have come from outside, and for it to come from outside, the abdominal covering including the skin must be breached, leading to the suspicion that the doctors might have cut open the abdomen prior to this and inserted the cucumber, and then started recording and making us think they extracted a cucumber from the abdomen of a human being. |
HabuD:Where are all those that were criticizing me when i said Nigeria played nonsense against France. You've now seen it against Germany. Thy're using same tactics they used against France against Germany, and just watch how disastrous the match will end against the falcons. You cant play defensive against a sound attacking team without having a sound counter attacking system. People just get unnecessarily sentimental when it comes to Nigeria. But i can tell you this is one of the worst falcons team i've ever seen. Do they think just going totally defensive without a good counter attacking mechanism would win them a match? |

Its understandable how Nigerians got sentimental over the match and blamed ref, VAR etc, but u have to ask urself, with the kinda defensive set up were u expecting nigeria to get a result from a highly attacking side like france. Though i was somewhat impressed by their defence, i knew deep inside that it was only a matter of time before they slipped up and allowed france to take the advantage. Even when the nigerians had the chance to take the game to france they still preferred to go back and defend! Against a highly attacking team like france that also had home advantage? Now on the goal, fact remains that the referee was faultless. There are rules to every game, and even the goal keeper was allegedly told the rule before the penalty was taken. If both feet are off the line u receive a yellow card and the penalty is retaken- thats the FIFA rule which was explained to the goalkeeper prior to the penalty. Truth is, no matter how sentimental the ref wud have wanted to be, she just had to be neutral and take that courageous decision. And that was a cleAR penalty btw. And moreso, i even thought the ref was actually more favourable towards nigeria on the whole. The team got it all wrong in their first match against norway which they could have easily won if they put up a good defensive display like they did against France. Please lets put sentiments aside, that team never looked like they were in for a fight against france, and going defensive against an attacking team who also has the home advantage was suicidal. There was no way they could have lasted the whole 90mins! |
i really don't know why people get sentimental over certain issues. There are several things to note and prove here. First this is an act by TWO ADULTS. That the lecturer wanted to have sex with an adult female is not a crime before the law, not like he forced or raped her. Unless she can prove with hard evidence, not just by unnecessary media hyping without any evidence, that he solicited sex for marks. The fact that he wanted to have sex with her doesn't necessarily mean he requested it for marks (even though, subjectively, we all know thats probably what happened. But again, the law will demand evidence, not hearsay). She is an adult and can say no if she isn't comfortable with his advances. What if he wanted to make her his third or fourth wife etc. The law doesn't condemn this. The only problem the man will have is how to explain to his wife and children what he was doing in the house of a student. Second, these guys beating up the lecturer is like taking the law into their hands. Even if the lecturer is punished for this (which will most likely not be the case if hard evidence is not available), the students that beat him up are also liable for expulsion/punishment for taking the law into their hands, rather than quietly recording and then submitting their evidence to the law and waiting for justice to be meted out on him. That alone gives the lecturer an edge over the students. As much as it might sound bitter, but thats the fact. They recording the lecturer soliciting for sex IS NOT AN EVIDENCE that he was soliciting for sex for marks. He might have been doing it for other reasons. The students should pray hard that they have concrete evidence of the man soliciting for sex FOR MARKS. I am not encouraging such acts but i am only being realistic. i won't be surprised if the lecturer gets away with this and the students are punished, or both parties are punished. But fact is, the students involved in beating up the lecturer would be punished. Many at times people do things without understanding how technical the law is. |
Pls advice... Whenever you make posts such as this, give us a brief summary of how the two teams have fared so far in the current competition, as well as previous competitionns. All I see here is just how they fared in previous competition but not the current one |
He will discover by 2023 (that is, if he hasn't done his calculation already, because he is a very smart politician) that half bread is better than none. Odingo1: |
