Some people want to be the man's accountant o! na wa!.
IBB who stole over $20bn is warming up to rule again and
some people are bothering themselves about how a businessman spends
his money.

The money is too much to the common man who would instinctively want to benefit
from the splash but that's not how it works.

Apparently the money is not too much for him and i'm sure he doesnt sees how it concerns anybody.
Afterall a lot of you have laptops and iphones while some people in your villages havent eaten.
So where do you draw the line? ? ? ? ?

And before you know it , he is in again ruling nigeria.
A country of 140million people and we are recycling like there's no tomorrow.
The people in charge are like agents of satan hellbent on moving the country backwards.

Nigeria has no chance.
Christianity Etc › Re: Should African Religions Be Preserved? by hackney(m): 9:43pm On Apr 17, 2010
@poster
some aspects of the religion, yes.
Though preserving human sacrifices for good harvests, killing of twins, the deformed, albinos
and assigning god status to things we didnt understand like rainbows and spring water
should be done away with.

Those were just borne out of ignorance.

A lot of people dont know the extend of our problems.

how can you call theories half-baked when there's a 90% chance you are good at nothing.
You are just another cyber warrior.
Politics › Re: Bbc, Olusosun And Nigerian Middle Class Hypocrisy by hackney(m): 7:50pm On Apr 17, 2010
@Poster; welldone.
The content of your text is excellent and on point.
However, comparing the west (groceries at sainsbury's and tesco;you forgot chilled yorgurt grin)  with nigeria
is a bit of a stretch.
This is because even if Europe stands still for the next 10,000 years, nigeria
will still look worse than the refuse dumps of G.B or france.

To face facts, blacks are still (at least) mentally evolving.
We may work alongside whites and even excel beyond them on an individually basis(after having read their books) but as a team (society), i think we are actually fundamentally different.
How long has it been since we existed alongside them on earth?
Have a look at all the black nations, then look at the black nations that have some whites in them.

All i'm saying is that African countries should be compared with other african countries and not
with the western countries or even african countries with a lot of whites.

Some people may just sit there and not like it as usual but so what? IT IS THE TRUTH.
People who are discerning enough would at some stage realise (in a moment of stark clarity) that there must
be something about the whites.
The darker your skin the less 'able' you are as a people (groups, teams, societies).
The 'browns' are behind the 'whites' but ahead of the 'blacks' everywhere.

For the ones in diaspora, just look around you and sincerely ask yourself :CAN WE?,REALLY.

Just seen the documentary; though it mainly highlights the
abject poverty of the dump scavengers, it actually wasn't completely hopeless.

Family › Re: Crazy Things You Did As A Kid by hackney(m): 8:56pm On Apr 13, 2010
My childhood was littered with adventures and dangers!!

i remember one time i punched my kid sister in the backyard not knowing that my eldest sister was back from her school
(j.s.s 2). kai!!
she flew out of the house eh! and the chase was on; we ran round the house like 4 times before the hide and seek.
When i realised i did not know where she was and my other sisters might catch me, i made for the gate.
My sister had this large stone and threw this stone with large force and i ducked for my life.
See the bang this stone made on the gate!! i stayed out till our parents came back.

this my same sister once pushed my elder brother and his head banged against an open door and he cried like
one of my sisters; his fore-head was so swollen that my sister pulled her normal stunt:
she packed some clothes and headed for the village to the safety of village aunties and uncles.
My parents came back and after learning what had happened were asking: KEDU NWANNE GI?!!  (where is your sibling?)
We told our mum  that she packed some clothes and left and they went to get her.

when they got home we didnt dare ask her what had happened to her.
after like 2 days the long awaited story emerged:
they got her in one of my uncles house deep in the village and said :" dont worry, we wont beat her o)
But check the jouney home naa: every go-slow my sister go hear SWAZAAA!!! GBOZA!!! GBAWAM.
she said at one junction she wanted to open the car door.
After that she was peace maker between us for long!!

A older relative from the village we didnt know had visited and wandered through the open gate.
we saw him and ran and he pursued us yelling: dont you know me! ! ! ! ! .
Meanwhile my mum was sleeping and dad was watching tele inside.
With child-stealers on my mind i ran through the gates unto the road and this car had to break with full force.
I wouldnt be here today if not for that man stopping the way he did.
Family › Re: Crazy Things You Did As A Kid by hackney(m): 7:02pm On Apr 13, 2010
Ah! i remember visiting a friend of mine who lives on the other end of the estate.
meanwhile there was this very ferocious dog (like a lion) that terrorised even motorists.

I got there and another friend was already there so we strolled out to the main road and then came this dog,
We all took off and this giant dinosaur dog was after us!!! (we were all like 9yrs old)

fortunately, i and one of the friends veered left and the boy we went to visit went right and the dog
pursued him!!!
see shouting!!!!!!
passers-by helped ward this monster dog off but by then my dear friend had peed his pants!!!!
we laughed all day.
Gosh!

Also i remember my elder sister coming home with bruises and lied that she had been attacked by dogs on
her way from maths lessons.
it turned out that she fell in the gutter while trying to pluck cherries from a neighbor's hedge.
(my elder sister told our mum because mum was arranging to go to the hospital for anti-rabbies injections).

see back hand slaps dey reing like fire.my sister cried all night.

Or was it when i went to climb guava trees with my bunch of friends from the same street.
we saw a snake in the trees and all jumped from the tree ; one of us sprained his ankle.
when we got home, his mum came to my house and told my mum,
men!!!! my mum can slap eh!! kai
the first slap threw me on the floor and when i got up she fired another left and right.
infact im lucky not to be needing therapy right now.
The age of innocence was a lorra fun!!!
this thread will fill up if i recount all the tales,
or was it when i threw a stone that cracked our car windscreen, i blamed it on my younger sister
and she cried like, well a baby.

Nigeria is such a nation that in the next 100yrs, the ENTIRE world will
be asking ; what is actually wrong with you people?
Cant you get any thing right?

And we will still be faffing about with nothing to show for oil we used
to have in abundance.
By then all the people that have money will just leave , leaving behind a wasteland.
Then , nobody (even a beggar) will even want to be president.
watch this space.

Won't this newbie Jonathan of a man sit down in Abuja and take care of  domestic
issues?

Is the new trend presidential vacuum these days in nigeria?
In my opinion, what ever it is he is off to do can wait considering the situation of the government.

From the way nigerians get simple things wrong tells me clearly that the days when
older people were wiser are well and truly gone.

I personally want all the old bags cleaned off; every one of them.

Any one of them that embezzled money with no due consideration for the country
or their duties should meet untimely deaths.

May karma spare the innocent but show no mercy for the blind embezzlers.

Look at Nigeria; the worst country in the world but the 5th largest oil producer.
We should be miles in front of hong-kong but because of some of these old farts we have nothing in the country.

I think they should all die off right now starting from any part that karma likes.

can one believe that Peter Odili who governed Rivers state owns Arik ( in conjunction with OBJ) while the youths are fighting for peanuts.
nonsense.
