olioxx: Boss first up, choose ya area of specialization. From their you will know all what you need to progress in your career. Note that programming languages, libraries and DB(Database) are just tools, the most important thing is to attain the zenith in your choosen field. Eg a carpenter may use a different tool in contrast to a welder, but generally these two are artisans, but they have general knowledge about other artisan work. So like wise, the world of Computer Science is very vast that you need to specialize, but you will have knowledge about other roles. Even in Cyber Security, there are much roles under it. So in my current role I use majorly HLA, C, C++, Python. I don't use Java since I have C++. Currently a full stack developer(Web) in Naija, so JavaScript and Python(Django). So in summary: * Choose and area of specialization. * Learn about you choosen career. * Learn OOP language and computer architecture.
* Algorithm and Data Structure - learn it well.
. . Abeg nor vex for my long story, No work today naim cause am. Cheers Thanks for the tips bossman Do you mind putting me through c programming language. I just need the basic explanation. Although i understand some aspects like function, data type and declaration, variables, and string just to mention a few. But am still not satisfied. I want more explanations. Please can you be kind enough to explain it to me Someone told me that once i master the concept of c programming, c++ would be easy for me. How true is this? What is the difference between python and c programming? I hope my questions are not too much sha? |

olioxx: @Hadampson, just try to swag up your skills, and zoom out with a job offer. As I am right now, I am patiently waiting for any job offer coming my way, by God's grace. If you are a Coder, GitHub should be ya friend, I contribute to the Zurich Google Office open source projects (being a cyber guy), during spare time. Companies want to see that you can contribute to theirs projects. If you are into other form of Engineering, writing paper works online should be your best bet, and patiently wait for the Job offer. Boss, i don't know anything about coding. I started learning c programming and i must say it's not easy to understand it o I still don't get the concept boss |

It is well bossAs for German lesson, try as much as possible to practice very well. Also, take note of the rules of pronunciation. Once am through with this semester examination, i will start updating the group because am lagging behind as well. I need to work more on listening and speaking aspects. |

Factors which determine caseThere are three factors which determine case. I have explained one of them above: the case is determined by the role the noun plays in the sentence; is it a subject or an object? There are two more factors, which decide what case must be used: the verb, and prepositions in the sentence. VerbsThe verb determines which case you use for the object: • The majority of verbs require the accusative. • Certain verbs always require the dative (for example, helfen ‘to help’ or gehören ‘to belong’). • Very few verbs take the genitive case. If you have a verb which requires the dative case, then the object in the German sentence must be in the dative even if it would be a direct object in English: Example: Der Mann hilft der Frau.Meaning; The man helps the womanIn German, ‘the woman’ is in the dative case (der Frau) because helfen is a verb after which you must always use the dative. So take note
PrepositionsPrepositions in German (words such as English ‘at’, ‘on’, ‘to’, ‘for’) require a certain case. • Some of them take the accusative (for example durch ‘through’ or für ‘for’.• Some prepositions take the dative (for example mit ‘with’ or von ‘from’.• Very few prepositions take the genitive. If you have a preposition which requires the accusative case, then the object in the German sentence must be in the accusative, even if it would be an indirect object in English: Example: Ich kaufe einen Roman für meinen FreundMeaning: I’m buying a novel for my friend. In English, ‘for my friend’ is the indirect object, but in German für meinen Freund is in the accusative case because für is one of the prepositions after which you must always use the accusative. Summary of basic principlesLike i said earlier, the use of cases is determined by three principles: 1) Whether the noun is the subject or the object of the sentence used 2) Verb used 3) Any prepositions used Note: It is particularly important to learn which verbs take the dative, and which prepositions govern which case. #Shalom |
