Car TalkRe: Man Pays ₦217M For A RR1 Number Plate, The Price Of 20 Brand New Toyota Camry by hadesanjo(m): 12:41am On Sep 13, 2018
Thank God someone understands what’s going on.

sleek82:
This is why we have a lot of poor people in Nigeria, we have a big poor man's mentality!.......if a lot of us dont understand what is happening here, let me dissect it a little for a business mind to understand.....this is actually an investment, but a lot of us dont see it....you all say it's a waste of money or its vanity? Hope you guys read the part someone bought a plate for £375,000 ten years ago and now auctions it for £15 million? Please calculate how much that is in profit and tell me it was bad business....there is hidden treasure in some of the things people buy at auctions but sometimes it's too deep for us to comprehend. A lot of people dont buy these things to show off, some of them buy for keep till it appreciates....I remember a man once asked for princess Diana's "accidented" benz car that time she died, you think he wanted to repair it and drive? Please think again!.......That guy will sell that plate for more 10 years from now.....this can be likened to what a friend of mine said when Juventus bought Ronaldo, he said that amount is too much and he can guaranty a return of 10% on wall street if the money was given to him. I told him he doesn't understand the business Juve just performed was the best ever because the money used to buy Ronaldo would be made in Jersey sales alone in just one week or two....well, he understands it now! (Sorry for the digression). Sometimes, we need to think outside the box!

IMO
Reliability - RX (positive testimonies everywhere)
Some reliability - MDX (heard not pocket friendly. Honda Pilot in Gucci jacket)
Build Quality - GLK (drive not up to expectations)
Value for Money - Edge (since you’re not looking at the debut model)

Car TalkRe: Kia Nigeria Records 200% Year-on-year Sales by hadesanjo(m): 1:58pm On Dec 23, 2017
Don’t blame them. They only said it as they know it.
Multinationals are now switching to Kias and Hyundais.
The Toyota brand dove head straight into companies’ bad books because of the unbelievable prices of their models. Despite being the preferred brand, the Koreans took the market.
Likes of Unilever, Nestlé, Nigerian Breweries and plenty others now buy Kias and Hyundais for their personnels (especially those in the field) as working tools.
A Kia Cerato with Auto Transmission, Cruise Control, 17’ alloys is way cheaper than a bland 1.6l Toyota Corolla with Manual Transmission and pot cover tyres.
Imagine the number of Fast Moving Consumer Goods in open markets and retail outlets and the guys responsible for their availability and again the number of cars these companies buy for them as working tools on annual basis. That should clear your doubt.

If still in doubt, try and be more observant when stuck in traffic in places like VI, Lekki...

I don’t live in Lagos but I could imagine these brands’ ubiquity in the commercial areas.

Uchihaitaci:
This is how you know guys that live in face me I face you in one dirty remote village

Anyone who works in Victoria island or Ikoyi axis will agree that it's insane the number for Kia and Hyundai cars one sees in traffic nowadays.

Funny enough I was telling my driver this same thing last week. Kia are really selling g like mad.

Now back to these embarrassing examples of Nigerian men. Please next time if you have nothing to say or are not sure just shut up and don't make a fool of yourself again

Car TalkRe: Would You Buy This Yellow Ferrari Sergio For N1.8 Billion? (photos) by hadesanjo(m): 10:48pm On Aug 09, 2017
Looks like it's based on the 458 Spyder.
Will sure buy if I can CONVENIENTLY afford it.

autojosh:
Ferrari Sergio
To be honest, it’s quite rare to find a Ferrari on our streets or even in an expensive hotel’s parking lot, mostly because of the low ground clearance that could cause regular visits to the mechanic and there is a huge price tag to contend with.

The Ferrari Sergio was first released as a concept, back in 2013, as a tribute to the late automobile designer, Sergio Pininfarina. A few years later, the Ferrari Sergio was released as a production vehicle, but only six were produced.

Sources say that three customers were from the US, while the other three were from United Arab Emirates, Japan and Switzerland.

If you had the means to purchase the Ferrari Sergio, do you think it’s worth the chase?

Tell us in the comment section below and don’t forget to tell us your opinion about the looks.

With your writing skill man, you shouldn't be at any sec without a job.
I enjoyed the writing more than the story.
Back to the story gangan - a lot of women I know experience chronic pains before or during their periods.
I suppose it subsides after childbirth.
I'm sure she's been to the hospital about it already.
I pray God helps her take the pain away or grant her the ability to cope.
And you, use headphones whenever the wahala starts.
That's if you've not started work before the next episode.

RomanceRe: Why Do Girls Always Go For Bad Boys? by hadesanjo(m): 4:16pm On Jan 06, 2006
jayemkay:
in my opinion bad boys hold a certain appeal to good girls and bad girls 'because they know how to treat a lady, i mean a good guy is full of principles, a bad boy just isn't. control is also another factor the guy controls the relationship. there was this good guy aspiring to be my boyfriend and one of reasons i ended up not dating him was that he was everybody's doormat, he was nice to everyone! it was kind of repulsive, it really got me thinking that ladies that ask for good guys really don't know what they are talking about, a guy has to at least have a streak of bad before a girl can absolutely fall for him
like all the girls, you like the action. you won't know what you've missed until you fall for the dream action dude that'd slap you back and forth blue/black. God'll help you.

put up funny attitudes that will make them realise you are useless to them. demand from the so demanding girl and stop the TLC all over.

telling them you are pissed could make them do things you won't expect. Nigerian girls of nowadays would go to any lenght to make you love them and also to settle scores.

they have their "BABA NGBEJOS". they could make you run from country to country and carry out sanitation practices on your own. u knw wetin i dey tlk.
