It depends on the way u were brought up, 25k shud be more than enough for u if u're brought up in a humble way, I can't say otherwise. I want u to knw that about 90% of students in nigerian universities live below 25k per month as allowance. I'm an example, I spend btw 10 to 15k in skul every month wich includes transportation(cos I'm living offcampus),food(twice or once daily and I don't cook) ,photocopies,printing,miscellaneous payments etc. I'm a student of a federal university.

Complete and utter thrash...especially for engineering. Out of 1500 students who have graduated from the college of engineering in my school, not more than 20 have gotten a first class. I don't blame u sha, UI and unilag have made engineering look easy. The stress alone of engineering in my school can make one wonder if he/she is doing a master's program

UI and UNILAG dint make engineering look easy, I'm a UNILAG engineering student and I can tell u dat it is the calibre of students dat UNILAG admit into engineering dat made dem to be churning out 1st class. UNILAG admit very smart students into it's engineering programs that u'll wonder if these students are normal. These students can read anytin and destroy any exam, I'm saying these cos I'm presently a student and I marvel at the level of smartness of some of my colleagues, these guys are just superb. Tho we av many among us that are average and below average too, infact dem plenty dat u'll be wondering how they got admitted into the faculty and it always reflected in dia grades and the no of yrs they use to study the courses.

5.... Sociology

7.... Geology

Now note people also do fail but am just saying this courses are quite easy to get a first class in with the being hardworking...dont be lazy

Contrary to what ppl are saying, I tink u're spot on. The only course I will want u to remove is Geology. I'm an engineering student in one of the top federal universities and I tell u it's easy to make a 1st class in engineering if u're very hardworking but if nt 3rd class,u won't see.

BTW, can we be REALLY SURE that:
1. His cramming was recited correctly to those who wrote it?
2. Those who WROTE the recitations actually wrote down the exact things they heard?

Ohk, tanx. About if his cramming was recited correctly; Angel gabriel used to come every night during the month of ramadan to come and revise it with him to make sure he dint forget anytin during his lifetime. And about if those who wrote it down actually wrote the correct things they heard; Muhammed was teaching them as he was being taught too in oral form and they memorise it also. The compilation(writing) started some yrs after his death and ppl dat already memorised the whole quran were called to recite it and it was being written down.

The Quran was actually revealed in piecemeal for 21 yrs as events occured, so each verse has a significance and reason why it was revealed. There was a man during the time of Muhammad named Ibn kathir, anytime Muhammad taught them a verse,he'll ask the reason behind the revelation and he would be told, so this man wrote a tafsir(commentary) book on the Quran.

Maybe you should take time and study the origin of the Quran, the mode of compilation and how the current edition came to be.

Yes, muhamad was an illiterate, but his god (satan/allah), who dictated quran to him, is not an illiterate, remember he quoted and twisted the Bible to Christ? Also muhammed had literate friends.

Wow! Good u knw it was his God that dictated the quran to him not that he wrote it on his own. So I tink wat u need now is to study Islam with an unbiased mind and u'll be convinced that it is the only true religion.
