Don't give people false hope, there's no waitlist for now.
Waitlist comes after the AC and it's only the people that participates in the AC that will constitute the waitlist.

Yes, they were asked to send some documents that they dint upload during the registration. The one I saw was NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

I applied for Engineering, commercial and Industrial hygiene but I only got interview invite for Engineering

You should have tried reconnecting. Some of us also had connection issues and we joined back to continue the interview. At some point we were asked to turn of our videos

Yes, I did all that and the network got better towards the end but they told they're out of time and they just proceeded to ask me if I av any preferred location and if I av any questions.

I did the interview on 17th November and I've not been contacted if I was successful or not, most likely I'm not from the timeline u guys gave.
I was actually expecting that because my network was pretty bad during the interview and the interviewers were not able to ask me all the questions they wanted to ask. I expected them to call me so that we can continue the interview through a phone call or better still reschedule it but they did not.

It lasted for 4 yrs actually.

So yes I'm being cagey about the pay. And you guys have to understand why. I still have very good friends there. If I mention the pay, I will be betraying them. Also I have an Non-disclosure agreement in place and even if I wanted to, I can't.

But the repeated inquiries say a lot about those reading the thread. It says you all are probably driven by money (which in itself is not a bad thing, but HR will be using "one-kind" eye to look at you guys). It also says you guys aren't reading the 2013 thread. Cos if you were, you won't be asking

The 2013 thread got wiped out at a point due to some hackers that hacked Nairaland that year.

They used the aptitude test to screen out some people because drilling has a very high number of applications. So they wanted to reduce the number before proceeding with the technical test. So most likely Ur score in the aptitude test was low.

I discovered I've registered my two emails on their portal and I can't remember their passwords, I've request to reset passwords since yesterday morning and I'm yet to get responses in my mails

We are saying the same thing, that notification and email sent bt total energies over the up coming technical test and also the email that said that Seville consultant Will get back to us, I didn't get anyone or any of it till date. The last message I got was invite for the first test (swift analysis )

OK, maybe they already used the aptitude test to screen out some people or it might just be an oversight.

It was TotalEnergies that wanted to organise the technical tests for drilling and Reservoir themselves before they changed their mind and sent another mail that Saville will now be the one to organize it. So TotalEnergies first sent a mail inviting candidates for the test, then they sent another mail that Saville will get back to us. I av however not heard that Saville has gotten in touch with anyone.

Saville hasn't sent any mail for that, mayb from tomorrow. The test can't be tomorrow again.

The thing is I think the number of people being invited for the interviews are so small in number. Infact I think mayb less than 10 or even as small as 5 sef in my opinion so that's why it seems people are not getting invites.

How did u get the link to apply for this opportunity? I've heard people get many of these NCDMB NOGICJQS opportunities but I've never seen them advertised. I visit the NOGICJQS website regularly and not once have I seen any advert of these opportunities. A friend that got one told me it's the people working in those companies that do nominate their people and NCDMB ogas have their own quotas too.

If it is true that they are secretly contacting "successful applicants", then it is unfortunate. Very very unfortunate. I also applied for this job, and uploaded my docs too. I would have been sorrowful too if I didn't get a good job afterwards.

How I wish applicants will seek justice via social media. This does not depict the new Nigeria we all desire. Unfortunately, the applicants are not many.

Customs recruitment took long too (2019 to 2021) and ended successfully with majority if not all on merit. The customs boss stood for transparency.

I don't understand your point honestly. Like do u expect them to post the names of ppl that got the job publicly? The only organisations that I know that does that are the forces (police and the armed forces) or have u seen any other organisation that does that?
Yes there will be people that will get the job because they knw ppl (as expected of a govt organization even in private organizations too) but people will also get it on merit. The one person I knw that got the GT role has a strong BSc and a very strong foreign MSc and also internship experiences with two different IOCs, and also has a very high score in both tests we did. Let's even assume the person got it through "connect", abeg shey the person no merit am?
The thing is, it's not everyone that will get the job, the spaces available are limited. Even if they recruit a thousand GTs like NNPC, it won't still go round. So just accept it like that and move on, atleast we av closure now that the whole thing has been concluded.

I'm not sure but I think Wellsite geologists were the first group to write the aptitude test. They most likely wrote on September 1,same day Reservoir wrote theirs but Wellsite geologist was in the morning while Reservoir was in the afternoon on that day. Like I said, I'm not entirely sure.
By the way, did u meet the requirements as stated on the advert? I also applied and I wasn't invited so I assumed it's because I didn't meet the requirements.

I don't knw if they will be rescheduled to take theirs too or they will be evaluated with just the aptitude test.

Maybe u were not shortlisted to take the tests. If I may ask, did u meet the requirements for the role u applied for as stated on the advert?

The technical assessment test is a discipline -specific test, so they ask u technical questions about the specific role you're applying to.
I think you'll av to actually read wide because from my experience in the technical test I did, the questions asked reflected to av an experience in the role. So if u don't av any experience, u'll need to read wide.

It's online just like the aptitude test.
