Southern Region( SE,SS and SW) We need to unite, if not we would keep being taken for granted. We have so many greedy people who don't support our interest in power.

Lets unite as one and support each other, this is the only way to make Nigeria better for ourselves.

Why are Igbos , Yorubas and our people from the South South not a united front. We have similar interest and policies


United states bombed hiroshima in Japan and killed several people, yet today they are strong allies.

German killed a lot of Europeans during WW2 yet today they are the strongest force in the European Union.


What have Igbos done to Yorubas or Vice versa that they can't work together to be a united front. We are getting it all wrong. This isn't how to play politics.


We all have the same goals and similar policies.


Southern states are capitalist in Nature , Hard working and believers of a restructured system. Why don't we come together like the examples given above did. The whole point is Economic freedom.


If our eyes don't open we would keep being second fiddle to the North, the Core North(Especially NW&NE ) knows this and that is what they use this to keep cheating us in the southern region and our people in the middle belt. Lets open our eyes, enough of being too gullible my Southern family


They laugh when we keep fighting, its all in their interest. If we are united we don't need votes from NE and NW to win Elections, we have the numbers. We can set policies in which we believe in.



Do you know the north has more ethnic groups than us in the south.

Do you know the fourth largest ethnic group are Tiv people also in the northern region, but in all these they are more united.


They have been using divide and rule tactics for us and yet we keep falling for it and being gullible.Lets wake up

Which numbers do you have? Go and see the votes returned from NE and NW and compare with SS, SE and SW then you know that power will always be with who the north want it to be with, the NC is battle ground region

Till today all the weapons the military are using were the ones bought by the last administration, Buhari has not bought any and at any given opportunity he says they stole the money for arms purchase yet he uses the weapon they bought.

The perpetrators of this bombing must be brought to book and prosecuted, the victims and their families must be compensated monetarily, this many not bring back the lost but can bring succor to the bereaved as bread winners may have been killed

1, cost- once you promote staff it means the salaries and allowances will also increase, this may hinder promotion

2, vacancy- every organisation is like a pyramid the higher you go the smaller the number of people needed, if ten people are employed on the same day is not possible for all of them to be manager on the same day, so naturally some promotion will be delayed and some can only be promoted if there is vacant position to be filled internally

3, competency- You can only be promoted if you are competent and good at the work and can manage people and resources well thus having a good appraisal

We need to hear the story from the two sides and also an independent person to come to conclusion, the question why were the police men at the hospital, was to arrest them or came to do something and saw them then arrested them, or have they truly done a crime but to let them go the police asked for bribe which they refused.

Honestly I don't know why they want to make this organisation as a government parastatal, it should remain a voluntary organisation, as it is all I see is they are trying to create jobs for boys but in the real sense of it what is the work of police, to me even civil defence is useless.

If I were the president I will sent a bill to the national assembly to incorporate , civil defence, road safety and NDLEA into the police, they will be division within a larger police, no one will be sacked but they will all be under the IGP, each section will be headed by someone equivalent to DIG and will report to the IGP who will report directly to the president

Organization's like peace Corp, boys brigade, boys scout, wai brigade, man o war, etc will remain voluntary organisation but membership of such organisation will be a prerequisite or added advantage to join the police, miltary, or SSS

My problem is all the amateur youth we have on Nairaland........
They are non-performance youth.

What most of this independent importer do is they collect dollars from CBN through bank, then they sell the dollar to black markets, and make about 30% on it, while if they import oil the gain is not up to 10%.

This fraud happens mostly in collaboration with the bankers

The government gives 450000 barrels daily for local consumption, some are given to local refineries the rest are transported to refineries abroad and returned for local sales by NNPC, as it is the NNPC only pays for transportation and refining, the crude for local consumption is subsidized but no one is paid any cash as was done hitherto cos the crude was given at subsidized rate
