Guys I will be landing in Toronto on Monday and will be taking Uber to my accomodation. Can I pay for the uber with cash or does it have to be a card payment?

What is it like living in Vaughan, Ontario. Is the transportation system there good enough?

If you didn’t do 2 way courier initially they will send you an email with those details and you will then make payment and revert to them. If you did 2 way courier just request your courier do the pickup.

I did 2 way courier. I just got a mail that the passport has been collected from Lagos VFS. Thanks.

Wow, that’s so bad of vfs Nigeria. best thing is to do 2 way courier then. Also which email did you send the consent form and Payment details to? Please keep me updated when they do so that I will know how long it takes.

I just received a mail that my passport has been received at Lagos VFS. Do I need to send DHL a consent form to pick it up? Or will they contact DHL to pick it up themselves?

Same here too o. I have gotten 3 additional mails today after the first one. Bottomline is that they will dispatch the passports to Lagos soon, hopefully next week.

I didn't get any notification that it has been received at IRCC for processing. I only got a notification that it was in transit to IRCC. Then got a mail this morning that it has been received at Canada visa application centre.

Checked my account and saw that counterfoil has been generated.

I guess they are not updating us at every step.

I just got this mail too an hout ago. Our passports will arrive Lagos soon.

I did, I submitted on 4th of May. Picked up my passport today from DHL. My profile wasn't updated until my passports was on its way back, so don't worry if you are not getting notifications.

How many updates have you gotten so far and what was the first one?

First Update was 18th may, It was received at Lagos VFS.

Second update was 26th May, Received at Canada visa application centre Ghana and is in transit to IRCC office in Ghana.

Nothing since then

They sent it to Accra Ghana on the 6th of May
On the 24th of May they said it had gotten to Canada VFS office Accra, and I haven’t heard anything back since then ��

It’s been more than 6 weeks already

Mine is 3 weeks plus. I am just worried I haven't heard any word yet. Last email I got was that my passport is in transit to IRCC visa office Ghana. This was over 2 weeks ago

I sent mine May 10th and it got to Ircc accra 30th, and up till now is still being processed.

I guess we just have to keep waiting for them. I don't know what the delay is about.

Not yet o. The last mail I got was on 26th of May saying my passport is in transit to IRCC Visa Office in Ghana OC for processing.

Just wanted to know if anyone that submitted there has gotten any tangible feedback yet.

Is there anyone here who submitted passport to Lagos VFS in May?

I don't know if it's reasonable or not, the duration is 5 weeks to 8 weeks, the only advantage is cheap, less than 10k unlike other places that are often above 60k

Thank you, I have not een requested to submit an additional document. I just needed to Upload it considering that I only submitted Proof of Appointment and Payment for Medicals Prior to submitting my application. Cos I dont want any loop holes with application. Infact I just submitted on the 25th Of April. I really hope its updated soon. I will also reach out to the email shared, Thanks a lot.

I just got response to the webform I raised on 15th of March few minutes ago. They will respond to you too soon.

I’m in you people’s shoes too but from past experience, webforms can take as long as 2-3 months before you get a response. Not planning to call at all, just don’t have the energy for that kinda frustrating venture.

I assume the ‘Additional documents’ part of your EE profile was showing ‘additional document requested’ after you received ADR. When it’s updated, it should change to we are reviewing then Not Applicable. That’s what happened when I got ADR for RPRF, don’t know if it works the same way for medicals.

There’s no short cut o, you just have to keep calling and sending web forms. If you know your VO you can mail them directly too. I think there’s an app (viber?) people use to call to avoid wasting a lot of money on failed calls.

My VO is RROC and I have mailed them several times, sent about 10 webforms. I have the viber app, it is what I have been using. I will keep sending the mail and webform. Thank you

I got adr for remed, proof of employment and renewed passport on Feb 3rd, deadline for submission was 3rd of March. I was able to do my remed and submit my proof of employment but I had delay renewing my passport.

I attached a LOE stating why I will not be able to meet the deadline for passport submission and attached my data capture appointment as evidence. I received no response concerning an extension.

I got my renewed passport on 15th of March and uploaded it immediately via webform. I haven't gotten a response from the webform till date. I also sent several webforms after that, no response.

I tried calling Ircc several times too, but was not able to get through. I ordered for gcms notes too and it's past 30 days, I have not gotten any response.

How else do I get in contact with IRCC to know what is happening with my application?

Just stop talking to him. Send him a text saying that you appreciate the time you spent together and that the friendship between you guys can no longer continue because you are in a relationship.

If you keep talking to him, he will never go away which will end up destroying your present relationship.

Just put an end to it and move on.

Honestly, I don't know my VO. The last time I requested for gcms was last year June and it was CIO then.

I have the same issue aswell. I was contacted to submit new passport by 5th march. already started the renewal process date to capture is 24th February. not sure if the passport will be out before the 5th.

Yours is better. You should get it before then.

They're taking about 3 weeks now to acknowledge a webform so if you're going to inform them of the delay, better to send the webform now or find a faster way to contact your visa office because if they haven't received it by your deadline, you know how they can be.

You need to find a way around it. Someone recently posted about knowing someone that assist in getting your passport renewed in 2 weeks so read backwards and contact the person.

I have, he said since I have registered in Lagos already, I have to wait for that data capture date. I contacted someone else too and was told I have to travel to the east or north to get it done.

You know you should have started this renewal process knowing that your passport will soon expire.

My AOR is Feb 18th 2021. I was hoping to renew this February, I didnt know IRCC will contact me this soon.

Good morning guys, I got an adr to renew my passport and submit by 3rd of march. I registered last week friday and was given 9th of march as appointment date for data capture which is way past the deadline. I am confused on how to proceed from here.

Yes I paid at the bank. Just go to the bank, tell them you want to pay ICAN subscription fee.
