sKeetz:oh... that's true. These guys are funny. |
CAPSLOCKED:Dude doesn't understand sarcasm

Many people talk about hell as if they were born and raised there. The concept of hell is why many people still practise religion. No one wants to suffer for eternity. If most religious people didn't have hell to contend with, no one would really practise religion. |
Lol, that's some bullshiit right there. Eagerly anticipating what's gonna happen on the remaining days. |
NOC1:And you know of these meetings how? |
Thanking God for grace. That's a very stupid thing to say. About 50 vehicles got burnt. I guess they all serve the devil. The traffic around that area itself is responsible for that count, not grace or whatever stupid thing anyone wishes to call it. |
dalaman:Yeah. My extended family are all Christians. Throughout high school, I went to church with my cousin, Christ apostolic church. But my cousin was the first to even renounce religion then, says it's ridiculous. I didn't even have the courage to do back then, till university. He was treated like an outcast when he told his folks. He should just have played along and pretended. Now his siblings are being protected by his parents from him, saying he has sold his soul to the devil. |
The joy on the faces of those women can't be compared to anything. Nice move by their government. There shouldn't have been a ban in the first place. The world is changing, and these strict regulations imposed by religions from the dark ages will all be lifted soon. They look cute behind the wheel. |
dalaman:Yeah, I even found it more amusing than the bible, especially when I read some hadiths by Bukhari and others. To be frank, I have read these books more than most religious people, and the more I read, the more ridiculous it becomes. I was born into a Muslim home, I can speak fluent Arabic so reading and understanding the Koran was no big deal. But then I started reading the bible too and it was no better. From the story of creation, to revelation, it's all mythology. The songs of Solomon is basically an erotica written by someone who was high on fermented palmwine. Religion is a joke. |
budaatum:The thing that still baffles me is how people read those books and believe most of the ridiculous contents. It shows to prove how a lot of people have decided to shut their brain to reason when it comes to religion. |
Ironically, I think it comes from the bible itself. 1 Corinthians 13:11...When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child, but when I became a man, I put away childish things. It began with being realistic and asking questions, religious people don't like you asking them questions. It makes them uncomfortable, they tell you to take on by faith what they can't find in their twisted ancient books. Each religion claims to be the only path to an imaginary heaven, which is bullshiit by the way. I found out that the average religious person reads just a book and acts like he knows all. Fighting imaginary monsters, witches, and other creatures whom they believe they fend off with their worship. My professor once asked me in class which religion I practise, I have had enough of pretence about that time and said none. I went further to say I don't even believe in God. You need to see the stares even my friends gave me. They looked at me as if I was afflicted or something. I said even if God exists, he doesn't believe in us. For a believer to repeat a single prayer line dozens of time and still have no assurance of answered prayers is pitiful at most. |

Habiodunz:Sorry if you couldn't comprehend the question. I know you asked him, just wanna know why you asked him cos I felt you mentioning growing up around girls might be leading somewhere. |
Habiodunz:Hmmm...Why do you ask? |
Wow!! I'm happy for you. Ella and Lily |

Biglittlelois:It's not about stupidity na. He probably couldn't control it and let it go. |
It seems the whole Nairaland is here. |
That goal was mad

This thread is the most meaningless thread I have seen since I joined nairaland. What's the four years for anyway. I was expecting like fourteen years or so. A religious person buys junks with soft drinks and still proceed to say "bless this food o lord." When he's eating his way to diabetes and other health related diseases. A religious views any bird at night as a witch, lives in constant fear of village people, waits upon spiritual leader before marrying, before taking on a new business prospect. Lives in constant fear of demons, tags old women with dementia as witches, and yet lives four years longer than someone who doesn't have to worry about all these. Op it's like you are high on Oshogbo weed. |
CAPSLOCKED:Lols...this is funny really We really do need a strong evidence. |

edicied:Yeah, you are actually right though. |
Great news, a step towards development. This is the kind of news we want on front-page, not someone buys a car, someone leaks a sex tape or some posts hot pics. |
That's clearly vitiligo. It can last for years or could be lifelong. Treatment may help, but that condition doesn't seem to have a cure. |
MartinCorridon:Haa, boondocks, we sure understand. Uncle Ruckus of life. When I was in high school, my biology teacher had the same issue Op has, still has it though. He went for tests after tests, used medications upon medications, but none worked effectively. He later resorted to using some antifungal creams which cleared his skin up a bit, but it never remained the same. |
It's just not worth it. Having to take pills the rest of ones life, hormone imbalances and the rest. Doesn't make sense at all. |
Running to the US won't solve the problems of these people totally. The governments of their countries have got to step up and work towards the development of their countries too. I don't blame Trump much though. The US cannot take more than it can afford na. |
