Career › Re: Who Is More Important In Building:- Architect Or Structural Engineer by hakeem4(op): 9:39pm On Mar 11, 2016 |
Blizzy9ja: With all due respect to the architect anybody that is versertile and creative can design a building but if the structural analysis of the building is faulty then everything is wrong with that building... There is more to a building than just aesthetics, so I give it to the structural engineer thanks feran15: The Structural engineer is obviously more important because stability in a building comes before aesthetics. If the role of the stucural engineer is ignored especially in buildings with multiple stories, the structural components of the building will fail and the building will come crashing down. I think its better for a building to be ugly and structurally sound, than for it to be beautiful and then come down crashing in a few years. thanks |
Career › Who Is More Important In Building:- Architect Or Structural Engineer by hakeem4(op): 6:48pm On Mar 11, 2016 |
Structural engineer :-
Structural engineers are responsible for engineering design and analysis. Entry-level structural engineers may design the individual structural elements of a structure, for example the beams, columns, and floors of a building. More experienced engineers may be responsible for the structural design and integrity of an entire system, such as a building.
Structural engineers often specialize in particular fields, such as bridge engineering, building engineering, pipeline engineering, industrial structures, or special mechanical structures such as vehicles, ships or aircraft.
Architect :-
An architect is a person who plans, designs, and oversees the construction of buildings. To practice architecture means to provide services in connection with the design and construction of buildings and the space within the site surrounding the buildings, that have as their principal purpose human occupancy or use. |

NuhuIbrahim: I have traveled almost all the states in Nigeria which makes me to have little idea or knowledge about different ethnics group or religion in Nigeria. But my experience and observation on Yoruba women is a different thing entirely. It is only in Yorubaland that a married woman is allowed to have extra marriage affair without the husband objecting to it and I ask myself why. Does it means that Yoruba people has no tradition that forbid that? Please don't quote me wrong am not trying to judge them, it's my personal observation and experience with them. But if you think am wrong prove me right bro why don't you keep small lie for tomorrow na ? How did you just go about your research.? |
