I'm an atheist but I believe in rituals because ritualism involves the use of tools in ways that are only associated with ritualists.
It has nothing to do with spirits because spirits don't exist.
Anyway,the use of these tools leads to self-transformation or it transforms the non-ritualist into something else/ritualist.
It also keeps the person a ritualist for as long as possible.
A ritualist can do things that a non-ritualist can't do.
Ritualism is not meant to induce happiness.
It's not meant to make someone a very rich and healthy human being.
It's meant to transform you into something else and keep you that way for as long as possible.
You may make money but it doesn't mean you will remain the same person you were before you became a ritualist.
